710.02.2025brooksavage200410.0Hunter Vs Mankind and Undertaker Vs Vader were both good, Sasuke Vs Michinoku was fantastic, the Hart Foundation ten man tag match was just phenomenal, the crowd was molten red hot and the whole show just breezes by with literally nothing feeling like filler and making this show WWE/WWF's best ever in terms of pure consistency. Overall WWF In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede is an absolutely incredible show and the all time best In Your House show.

1001.01.2025UWF Rules Enthusiast9.0This show is a strong candidate for the best WWF show in history. The main event was particularly memorable. Great Sasuke vs. TAKA Michinoku is another match that is highly recommended, and this was their first appearance in WWF.

2810.07.2024RealGrapsThomsen9.0This was easily the best In Your House event, possibly ever. The match quality was definitely there and the Toronto crowd was extremely electric, especially for the main event where the Harts, who were heels everywhere else, were the most over faces ever.

3207.04.2024Ruthless Attitude10.0Canadian Stampede is the definition of an all killer no filler PPV. Only 4 matches on the main card, but all of them are strong matches that got great reactions from this wonderful crowd! The 5 on 5 main event is a brilliant pay off to a long term storyline where the heel Hart Foundation came back to their home country as conquering heroes and defeated a team of popular US wrestlers which included an awesome Austin performance where he leaned into the negative reactions he was getting for this match perfectly! Undertaker v Vader is another good match thats made great because of the atmosphere with the crowd. Hunter vs Mankind was also a really hot match that opened the show and the wound up brawling all over the arena all show after the match was over. Very entertaining feud between them. Also Taka vs Great Saskue was a hidden gem and was an Inter-promotional match that often would have got bad reactions in the WWF, but the strong performances from both of them ended up winning them over. It ended up being a great debut for Taka when he wasn't the one originally planned for the LHW push. It's one of the strongest shows WWF/E has ever produced on a match for match basis.

3415.03.2024Burning V Sternness9.0Every single match on this show was varying degrees of good to awesome; with each bout telling its own story and doing something different. The opener was all about hate filled brawling and big bumps, the second match was a slick high flying and technical wrestling exhibition between two smaller more athletic wrestlers, the third match was your classic Heavyweight World Title fight between two skilled bigger wrestlers, and the Main Event was a wild story match with an amazing crowd. Basically, if you like Pro Wrestling then theres probably at least one match on this show that youll really like, and theres an equally great chance that you might even like all of them
3504.03.2024lukerocker98.0A really fun short show and dare to say WWF's best PPV up until that point in history. The Pre show tag match is very short but innofensive better than most Godwinns work (5/10) Triple H/Mankind is a fun brawl more heated than their previous PPV bout also love that they keep fighting onto the next match (7/10) Sasuke/Michinoku is a really strong technical match with a lot of high flying. Not as insane as some modern cruiserweight matches but its very good (8/10) Taker/Vader was as fast as furious as you could get with these two in 97. Its mostly a Taker showcase and he looks badass despite a few misteps along the way (7/10) THe biggest highlight is of course he main event. A lot of great exchanges specially fun to see Pillman and Shamrock in the ring. The brawling was fun and the other members of the Hart family getting ivolved was a wild ending. All of that would've been a really good match but I bump it up one point do to the wildly hot crowd (9/10)

4023.12.2023JacquesRougeauCanHaveMyWife8.0There's only one true classic of a match, but almost everything else is at least decent, so it makes the main event even more special. The crowd is the main star of the whole show and with fans like that all of the bouts are automatically more enjoyable to watch. They start off with Mankind and Hunter having a much better contest than their King of the Ring one and even though the finish might be a little underwhelming that brawling after that certainly made up for it. Sasuke and Michinoku presented how to make the crowd care about a cold match with guys that they possibly never heard off and delivered some impressive match with everything making sense - no waiting for the opponent to catch him, just a great high flying match. Taker and Vader slowed the things a little bit and the bout itself didn't hook me, but it was an easier watch thanks to the lively crowd. And then the main event was one of a kind experience. Phenomenal crowd plus ten fantastic workers had to deliver an exciting match with everybody having their moments to shine. Owen was really well put over here and the aftermath was just a cherry on top. Easily the best In Your House show up to date.

6017.03.2023Robert Taylor8.0Laut Datenbank der beste WWF In Your House PPV aller Zeiten.

7020.02.2022Derek Joists8.0One of the better WWF PPVs, and one of the first that started to feel like the Attitude Era. Not quite as spectacular is it's sometimes made out to be, but good to great all the way through, and very enjoyable.

7516.11.2021benny5bellys9.0Basically as perfect a WWE PPV as you are ever going to get. If only we could get shows like this today where they don't feel the need to have overly long matches and trying to fit everyone on the card. I skipped the title match because it's WWF version of Vader and life is too short to watch Undertaker matches that don't involve HBK dragging the Dead Lump to a good match.

7913.07.2021Hill9.0Quality over quantity is key. Theres a reason why Canadian Stampede is one of the best WWE PPVs and that's because there were only four matches, but each one of them were excellent. Mankind vs Hunter Helmsley opened with a nice brawl that ended in a double count out. Normally I hate count out finishes, but they made up for it by fighting throughout the ENTIRE show ***. Take Michinoku vs The Great Sasuske delivered the match of the night with their high flying style ****. Undertaker retains the WWF title against Vader in a good old fashion big man vs big man bout ***1/2. The man event a real treat with the Hart Foundation vs the makeshift team of Steve Austin, The Road Warriors, Ken Shamrock, and Goldust in a chaotic match that saw the hometown heroes get the big victory ****. Seriously go out of your way to watch Canadian Stampede.

8909.06.2020ZestyZuluWarrior10.0Amazing PPV where nothing felt like a filler. //// Mankind vs HHH was a great brawl with action right off the bat. Chynas interferences didn't bog down the match and actually helped. (***1/2) //// Sasuke vs Taka was amazing, fast paced, and hard hitting. The crowd loved it and appreciated it much more then crowds nowadays do. (****) //// Undertaker vs Vader was a good big man fight. Undertakers strength during this time was terrifying. (***1/4) //// The main event itself was a good match but it was made so much better by the hot crowd and their love for the Harts and hatred for Stone Cold. Lots of good, fun action throughout. (****1/4)
9103.11.2019JohnStravolta9.0Very good PPV, not too many matches but only good stuff here: HHH vs MANKIND was a very good opener and managed to heat the rivalry between the two; MICHINOKU vs SASUKE brought japanese jr heavyweight greatness to the WWF lightweight division with a match full of stiff strikes and impressive high flying spot (the ending was a bit disappointing). VADER vs UNDERTAKER was a good match made better by the ongoing Bearer/Taker feud. The main event was an hell of a brawl, and the crowd reaction to the Hart Foundation was amazing.

9302.08.2019rykejamal10.0I forgot how great Jerry Lawler was as a heel commentator. One of the non-wrestling highlights of this event. HHH/Mankind was a very fun opening match. Based on the great video of KOTR 97 before the match, I assume this is just the start of their feud. Great action and a good story told in the ring. HHH took a pretty nasty looking bump into the corner and flipped out of the ring. The count out finish only served to fuel this feud further, but a well done brawl into the crowd followed. Next match was really enjoyable between two premier high fliers. Plenty of strikes as well as other high impact moves. Early WWF light heavyweight action at its best. A great dive from Michinoku to the outside highlights this match. WWF title match was a solid big man fight and probably the weakest match of the show, but still pretty enjoyable. Vader, for his size, was impressed and the fact that he got Tombstoned was an even more impressive feat. Now about the main event, holy hell! That reaction for the Hart Foundation, especially Bret Hart, was something out of this world. I hardly recall such a reaction in recent memory, and this was back in 97! Simply awesome. The match, and the crowd, was absolute fire! 10 men who never slowed down, and constantly kept the story and the flow of the match going. Some great heel work from the Harts, which gets awesome face reactions. Bret taking Austin out of the match, in retaliation to Austin taking Owen out of the match, was brilliant. This is probably one of the best and highly emotional multi-man matches that I have ever seen. Austin going at it with the Hart family was a sight. Hard to believe that from the Hart Foundation, only Bret is still around today. An absolutely fantastic WWF PPV during a troubling period. Enjoyable all the way through. Might be the best IYH event in history.

9817.07.2018RPMX12310.0The best IYH PPV by a long shot. Every match is great in its own way and it is also a card full of variety, much like WrestleMania 17. Mankind/HHH is a very fun brawl with tons of memorable spots and a chaotic ending that actually carries on a story throughout the show (***3/4), the light heavyweight match is a great fast-paced high flying encounter with some good psychology to boot (****), the Taker/Vader match is probably the weakest out of the four matches but is still a great big-man encounter with some delightfully great heel work from Bearer (***1/4) and the main event is such a f**kin awesome match. It never lets up for its 25 min duration, everyone gets great offense in, there's a great story told and the crowd is hot as hell for the whole match, hell, they're hot for the whole show! (****1/2) Such a f**kin good PPV, but I won't call it perfect mainly cause that Taker/Vader match does drag in places, but it could easily be the best match of a less quality IYH. One of the best PPVS WWE have ever produced.
