[8.0] "Defy New Legacy was an easy show to watch, and a very enjoyable one at that. While the first 3 matches were good, the event really picked up on the fourth match. Four straight matches, each one extremely fun to watch with great chemistry between all involved. Normally, I like a little build to some matches, but I have to point out that Strickland vs Allin made me ditch that idea. One single promo before the match was all it took to sell it to me, and it was a great back and forth encounter. The final two matches were fantastic with the main event being the MOTN. I? ve enjoyed Matt Sydal from Impact Wrestling but Matt Riddle only began to grow in me in recent times. This match is an indicator that I have misjudged the man; he is fantastic. A wonderful back and forth match that could have gone either way. Despite it not being the MOTN, a highlight was the tag match between No One Lives and Joey Ryan/Randy Myers. Myers is a great talent who is really entertaining to watch. Just a great character overall. This match was interesting because it was a singles match that turned into a tag match. It was the events leading up to it being a tag match that made me enjoy it. Another strong event from Defy, who are always putting on great shows that are not too heavy to watch."
