[7.0] "1995 was a pretty poor year for WWE but this card was one of the stronger ones. Opening match up was really good despite it being 8 wrestlers more seen as job guys/lower mid carders at the time. Women's match had a ton of talent but was not given enough time. Bigelow vs Goldust was not a fitting send off for Bigelow who wrestled his final WWE match. Dark Side vs Royals was fine and mainly for letting the Undertaker destroy his opponents. The Wild Card Survivor Series match was fun and had a lot of good action. Main event was another good matchup with a great post match angle."

[7.0] "Survivor Series 1995 a event that was actually better than what I expected, had some matches like that survivor series wild card I don't know what match, the opener and the Main Event were good and okay too. 7/10"

[8.0] "What an unexpectedly great show in an otherwise mostly terrible year for the company. The best Survivor Series up to this point in my opinion. There really wasn't a bad match on the card. The Bodydonnas vs The Underdogs was a fun opener with midcarders and lowcarders that had no right being as good as it was. Jannetty, Candido, and Hakushi in particular really shined. The women's match was the worst on the card and it wasn't even bad. The crowd just didn't know who they were with the exception of Alundra Blayze and Bertha Faye. There were also several moments in the match where they weren't on the same page and it got sloppy. Goldust looked much better against a departing Bam Bam than in his initial PPV debut. The Dark Side vs The Royals was basically a squash but it did what it needed to do with a returning masked Undertaker. The wild card match was excellent although Ahmed Johnson was working way too stiff. Something he never got better at. Shane Douglas is basically buried here with a quick roll-up elimination and he would be shown the door soon after. The Dean Douglas character was never going to get over anyway. Bret vs Diesel is the best match of the show and probably the best match of Nash's career. All of the Bret vs Diesel matches are criminally underrated. Bret going after Diesel's legs and knees never gets old. I think this match also has the first announcer desk destruction spot in the WWF. Something that would become a staple. Normally I hate roll-up wins but it works within the context of the match with Diesel getting too arrogant to even attempt a cover. And his turn afterwards is very very well done with Diesel completely snapping."

[6.0] "Probably the best PPV '95 has to offer. Might not be the best accolade considering how weak '95 was in general, but it's still a very good show. All of the men's Survivor Series matches are extremely entertaining and the Goldust vs. Bam Bam match serves its purpose. Even still, there's no competing with Bret vs. Diesel on this night. Match of '95 for sure and it's good enough to carry the entire show on its back. Might not be good enough to make a top five list of Survivor Series shows, but considering how bad 1995 was in wrestling in general, the fact that the show was as good as it was is a major win."

[7.0] "Probably the best 1995 PPV by far, though that was a low bar. The Bret/Diesel match ended up being the best while the Wild Card match was a close second. The women;s match wasn't bad, either. Just rushed. The Wild Card match was a good opener. Pretty enjoyable PPV, to be fair."

[5.0] "IMO one of the more overrated WWF PPV's of the 1990's. An absolute one-match show. The traditional Survivor Series matches are as boring as any installment up to this point outside of 1993. The opener is decent but lacks any kind of star power. After that it's a painful journey to the main event which is very good but slightly overrated in its own right and not the kind of one-match spectacular to warrant a higher rating for an event that like much of pro wrestling in 1995 is a bore fest."

[6.0] "I think this show is slightly over rated here but not by much it had a great opener and a good final match. The mid card was quite boring though, but for this era an 8/10 opener and a 7/10 main event is good enough for a 6/10 rating."

[7.0] "Finally a really good show. Three great matches, one decent and two that I didn't mind, but had some quality to them too. The opener was perfect - a few professional workers from the mid card that were able to get the crowd invested and get 1-2-3 Kid over as a heel. The women's Survivor Series Match felt weird, as it had some really good things here and there, but they tried to do too much, which unfortunately resulted in it being sloppy with a lot of botches - it was refreshing though to see the likes of Aja Kong in WWF. Goldust vs Bam Bam was nothing special but still a competent match and the next bout was all about how over The Undertaker was with the crowd and when he entered the ring the match got instantly elevated to the higher levels. Wild Card Match was a fantastic star power showdown and with these kinds of talents you couldn't go wrong here, plus the pure in ring work was impressive too. And the main event really suprised me, considering the fact that I didn't like that much their Royal Rumble Match. Here though the story was clear, the slow pace made sense as they wanted Diesel to get booed in the middle of the match and the heel turn was executed perfectly. Really nice show, almost ending the year on a strong note."

[7.0] "A fun show. I enjoyed it much better than any of the previous Survivor Series. The Opener is fast paced and a great showing for the lower card guys that usually didn't get to show off much. Specially love the top rope powerbomb Jannetty does (8/10) The women's match is a bit rushed and sloppy in places but much like the opener is fast paced and fun, Aja Kong being the highlight (8/10) Goldust/Bigelow is the only down point in the card but its innofensive, Goldust gets a win Bigelow plays his part but neither do anythign memorable (4/10) Dark Side vs. Royals is an average bout mostly there to make Taker look cool at the end and it works for that (6/10) The Wild Card match was a fun concept when the "can they coexists" idea wasn't overplayed as much yet, and it also has plenty of awesome wrestling from Owen HBK and Razor (8/10) Diesel vs. Bret is a methodical bout with Bret trying to outwork Diesel while he still dominates most of the bout with power, really good table bump in there. A bit too slow for my liking but a good way to close the show anyways (7/10)"

Derek Joists wrote on 23.12.2021:
[7.0] "Undoubtedly the best WWF PPV of the year, but then it's been a terrible year for them. This is the first sign that they're turning the corner, and a rare show for this year with no actually bad matches, although there's a couple of mediocre ones. It does highlight how thin the roster still is, but for the most part they use them well here. There are still flaws, most noticeably the lack of time given to the women, and that any time was given to Sid, but this is a rare for 1995 show that's genuinely satisying from start to finish, with a classic main event."

Last two matches were great, and after a strong start, and a solid mid card, this ends up being one of the better Survivor Series cards in my memory. Everyone really brought their best to this event, and it shows in the final product."

[9.0] "I remember this event like it was yesterday. Quick fact, this was the first WWE/WWF event I bought on tape back in late 95 or early 96. The first two elimination matches were solid with the first having some interesting moments, more than the women's match that followed. The Dark Side vs. the Royals was really fun for a kid new to wrestling at the time, seeing characters play out in a match of that caliber. King Mabel running away from the Undertaker to throw away the match will forever remain funny to me. The main event, if memory serves me correct, was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. Bret Hart was a favorite back in the day and watching him win the title was a sight (I would watch more events and historical matches in next 20 or so years). Diesel will forever be a beast in my mind. Now, what was the highlight for a 7-8 year old boy? The wild card match, of course! I would understand the story later, where rivals were placed in teams to do battle, and it added a great dynamic to the match. I always felt sour that Razor Ramon was eliminated. Ultimately, I have to admit the highlight. The finish. Ahmed Johnson leaping for a splash on Yokozuna and doing that high pitched yell continues to be one of my favorite moments. Funny for the time, and well worth looking back at and reminiscing. Ah, good days."

Third elimination tag is entertaining. Wild Card match is very good and fun. Main event is awesome brutal no holds barred match."

[8.0] "The first 4 vs 4 match is easy to watch and enjoyable without star power, yet it works fine. The women 4 vs 4 is short but with good Wrestling moves, even if plans for Blayze vs Kong did not go well. Goldust vs Bigelow is terrible. The third 4 vs 4 is okay with a team dominating the other. The final 4 vs 4 is great and very intense. Diesel vs Bret Hart is a great title match, a No Holds Barred that lasts for long. Surprising because it's the best event in 1995."
