The airy Saitama Super Arena absolutely did the event no favours; I feel like the most disappointing matches (World Tag and Triple Crown) did at least have the crowd wanting to come alive, but the venue just didn't permit it. The Sai/James team, even with the Z1 connection, feels really random, and their win makes the World Tag Titles seem far less interesting than the All Asia pair at the moment. Main event was so fucking bad lol. Super flat, forced way for Joe to drop the belt. Aoki/Kondo was the sole highlight here. This show, on the whole, was almost humorously underwhelming."

[5.0] "Only watched two matches, The main event and Bodem vs Iwamoto. Bodem vs Iwamoto was by far the better of the two (***1/4). Thought the main event was really disappointing. Maybe it was due to the crowd mics being poor, but it seemed the match had very little heat. To me, it felt like there was no climax to the finish. No anticipation to the win. It felt off for a main event. Still good in many ways but considering this is the main event and who in in it, I did expected a whole lot more. (**3/4)"
