[7.0] "The opening promo duel between Suge D and Darin Corbin was not only raw and cementing their positions, it also massively raised the stakes for their main event collision. The scramble match was a decent opener and an important victory for Isaias Velazquez as he climbs back the ranls of Freelance Wrestling. Arik/Jake was predictably average, while Craig/Swoggle was predictably mediocre, as the undercard goes by fast but the wrestling quality isn't there. Henry/Fierce capitalised quickly on their heated first encounter, and it is incredible to see what motivation does for Fierce's value as he gained full babyface credibility in just two matches and produced the best singles match of his entire career. GPA's new character garnered incredible heel heat, without even saying a word for minutes pn end, only to deliver a brief message and skeddadle, angering the crowd even more. The luchadores 4-Way match is a simple way to further Robert Anthony heel turn, and while they could have worked the crowd more they did provide enjoyable high-flying action that was different from anything else tonight. The 8-men tag match felt like teams were thrown together around the Words/Heroes issue without much thought put into it, making for a fairly disjointed and dull match that was just a small part of a larger program. Suge/Darin had the feeling of an extremely important match, and while the action wasn't anything special, they way they carried themselves and conveyed their story was incredibly intense and layered, a very subtle acting job that gave this moment its importance and may shape the future of Freelance Wrestling. The undercard may have been very weak and some matches are obvious filler, but this event had tight booking, from the effective promos to the attention and care given to the main event, you could tell that Freelance had a plan and executed it properly, making this quite the memorable night of wrestling."
