[7.0] "This episode was a good post-PPV raw. I think one major thing missing is no Diesel, however, opening up the show with the hBK match was a great choice. And despite him wrestling a jobber, the match was a fun watch... which is usually the case with michaels. Smoking Gunns match was garbage nonsense and so was the waylon mercy match. The hakushi/bret match has me conflicted. Obviously because it's bret, the match will be a fun watch. And Hakushi has a lot going for him. He has this scary look, he has a good manager, he has a ton of great moves, and he never runs out of gas. However, it seems him and bret never have great chemistry together. It's very strange because Bret can make a match work with literally anyone, which is why I think they have him always feuding with Lawler. But these matches between bret and hakushi, there's always some chemistry issue and I blame hakushi. It's so weird. About other stuff, they did a good job recapping the PPV although I expect to see the champ at least in person taking a victory lap. Also, during one interview, vince sorta ruined the surprise that roadie actually sings JJ's song. I don't have any faith that he did that on purpose. He's the fucking worst. There's a goldust tease about 20 mins in and I was hoping to see him on the show, but nothing. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that when Hakushi comes out to the ring, he has a fake bret hart's head in a bag? lmaooo WHAT? this is one of the most insane things I've seen on Raw up to this point. Show was interesting and entertaining. We get a bret hart AND an hbk match as well. Wasn't perfect and there weren't any must watch matches, but it definitely was better than a lot of Raws this year."

[6.0] "A good RAW the night after IYH2. HBK vs Jimmy Del Ray was a decent opener and the match went the perfect length - 5/10. Bret vs Hakushi is a great match for a 1995 RAW with some excellent spots toward the end - 7/10. Final rating - 6/10"

[8.0] "Man if they had Bret Hart wrestle a 10 minute match against a midcarder every raw in 1995 maybe they could have turned this company around a lot sooner, albeit they have a very empty heel locker room, but they could have done some face vs face matches as well. A fair critique is yeah it's a very one note card, with it being all about the main event. But it's a good damn main event. The squashes were fine Shawn Michaels vs Jimmy Del Ray was above average even. I really dig Waylon Mercy, it's a shame he retired before the gimmick could get more heat. Also I can't believe I had to sit through the same Dean Douglas ear torture segment again. I have so much go home heat for that chalkboard scratch haha."

[7.0] "There's some decent stuff scattered throughout the show, but it's really all about the main event, which in terms of athleticism and overall excitement far exceeds what you would expect to see from a WWF television match in 1995."
