[4.0] "The hart/hakushi match has been glazed into oblivion but to me it was nothing special. I think because a lot of the stuff hakushi was doing at the time seemed fresh, people at the time thought it was great, but it felt to me like they lacked chemistry. With that said, it was the match of the night. I have to rate this PPV less than a 5 because the match of the night was just meh. The rest of the matches were barely worth mentioning. The JJ/Razor/Roadie match was fine for what it was. I liked seeing Road Dogg in action finally and it's interesting to see that he's already dancing in his first ever match. The mabel/adam bomb match was a head scratcher. They've really been pushing adam bomb, only for him to get destroyed. That was stupid. The tag match was fine but too short, nothing special. Could have been a Raw match. The king/lawler match was probably my 2nd favorite match of the night with all of the shenanigans that went on with bret's knee and jerry's "mom" lol. Then there's the title match that looked ok for the first couple of minutes but then turned into a snooze fest. I understand why this is the title match and why it's the main event. Both of these guys are huge and you just sorta sit there in awe watching these absolute monsters throw each other around... but neither guy has more than a handful of moves and both of them are at their best when they are demolishing smaller guys. It would be nice if they could actually wrestle but they can't. Too bad it seems this feud will linger on due to the DQ. Honestly very boring PPV especially considering I had high hopes. this is definitely skippable."

It starts great and promising with Bret Hart vs Hakushi, but what comes next is just a downgrade with every match, and in the end It feels like what is that of a alien invasion kind of shi, that kills my taste for this first edition of In Your House, this whole thing and system of like weekly PPVs of an hour and half or 2 was like a bad episode of Raw, but you have to paid for it. 0/10"

For the WWF's first attempt at bite sized monthly PPVs, it was decent enough to not feel like a waste of time or money, but it wasn't good enough that it would have made me believe these shows were the way of the future. I think the times each match had hurt it quite a bit. Sid and Diesel could have used less time, and the tag title match could have used more time. A good first attempt, but nothing special."

They're just filler between the big PPVs. And they're rarely good, except Canadian Stampede. But this first one was not good at all. The best match was Bret Vs. Hakushi and after that, you can pretty much just tune your mind out."

Very mediocre PPV."

[5.0] "Show starts off with the MOTN Hart and Hakushi have a nice fast paced opener with a lot of high flying. They were still holding back from having a full on banger though (7/10) Jarrett and Razor have another pretty solid match, they had good chemistry in 95. I don't think Road Dogg added much to it, but its a fun simple match (7/10) Then we get a Mabel match. Tthankfully its short so its not that bad but nowhere near good either. Wish Adam Bomb won so King Mabel wouldn't become a think (3/10) Tag Title match is a fairly dull affair. Decent wrestling specially when Owen is in the ring (4/10) Bret/Lawler is more of an angle than a match as most of their encounters but its still the Hitman wrestling so its watchable, but disspaointing (4/10) DIesel/Sid starts off hot, but quickly starts becoming sluggish. A very slow pace and not much to it, a camel cluth goes on for ever and it ends in DQ not great (4/10). Overall not that bad of a show but it felt underwhelming for a PPV"

[6.0] "It started off great and thankfully the longest matches on the card were the best ones. Hakushi absolutely stole my heart with his PPV debut and had the best match of the year so far, while Razor vs Jarrett & Roadie was a pleasant surprise considering the fact that I was a bit disappointed with their WrestleMania match. Here though they delivered an exciting bout with the crowd being invested to the max levels and it felt like an actual struggle for Razor. Then it went a bit downhill with just mid matches like the repeat of the Tag Team Titles match from WrestleMania or Lawler vs Hart also similar to their last encounter. The main event was the worst match of the night, but it still had some good moments like Sid's incredible facial expressions. Overall it wasn't long which plays to its advantage and had an absolute banger of an opener, so I really think that it's a nice little PPV."

[3.0] "This was hardly more than a glorified house show given PPV status to compete with WCW, but with WWF's depleted roster at this point they were struggling to do much of interest on the big shows let alone this one. It's not as offensively bad as some of WCW's stuff from this year, or WWF's infamous next PPV, but only the first match can be recommended. The rest is not much more than TV level matches, and even the title matches didn't feel important."

[4.0] "The opener between Bret and Hakushi is easily the match of the night and the one worth actively seeking out here. The rest is a mixed bag - the handicap match with Razor vs JJ and Roadie was rather entertaining and the tag match was ok; on the other hand, the main event, especially with its DQ finish, was a bit disappointing; Lawler vs Bret didn't amount to much; and the Mabel vs Adam Bomb match, playing out as a squash, probably effectively ended Bryan Clarke's WWF run. Not the most auspicious start for the In Your House series, but a couple of positive points."

Mabel vs Adam Bomb is very short but has some good moves. Jerry vs Bret is not good. Main event is very disappointing. Boring match with a DQ finish."

[5.0] "It's not really a bad event, it starts fine with a strong first match between Bret Hart and Hakushi, and then it starts to slow down, with a disappointing main event between Diesel and Sid which is never good enough. I really wished they would do Shawn Michaels vs Sid and give Diesel an other role. Hart vs Lawler is the worst match, the tag team match is acceptable."

Bret Vs Hakushi was a great match between two great technical wrestlers (***3/4) and Razor Vs Jarrett and Roadie was pretty engaging (***) and gave us the debut of Savio Vega afterwards. But then we were served with a shitty 90 second squash between Mabel and Adam Bomb (3/4*) another boring tag match between Owen/Yoko and The Gunns (**), a dreadful match/angle between Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler, a shitty house giveaway and a terrible main event between Diesel and Sid, made even worse by a nonsensical DQ finish (3/4*). Main events like this sum up 1995 WWF perfectly."

[5.0] "This obviously could've been a better 1st In Your House PPV than what we got. I liked the opening match between Bret Hart and Hakushi and I liked the handicap match that came on after that with Razor Ramon against Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie, and the aftermath of that match was a great way to debut the Savio Vega character as well so kudos to WWE on that one. I even liked Bret's match later on with Jerry Lawler too mainly because of the psychology! Bret Hart fooled a despicable heel like Jerry Lawler by having him think that his leg was hurt but that plan backfired on Bret in the end when Jerry Lawler got the win cause of Hakushi and Shinja's interference which made sense too cause Bret ended Hakushi's undefeated streak in the opening match so why not have Hakushi come out to exact revenge? That was great too! Everything else on the show was just ehh at best. Nothing spectacular. Even though Adam Bomb got some offense in on Mabel, Mabel still squashed him in less than 2 minutes in the 1st King Of The Ring qualifying match which sucked. Owen & Yokozuna vs. The Smoking Gunns ended in a lame finish to cap off a not very good match to begin with. Unfortunately Diesel vs. Sid was boring. Plus I don't understand why both Sid and Ted DiBiase didn't get upset at Tatanka for interfering on their behalf when this match was for the WWF title. Instead they helped Tatanka beat down Diesel some more after the DQ finish before Bam Bam Bigelow made the save. So that was stupid also."

[6.0] "The highlight of this show is definitely Hakushi-Bret, but the other matches are around average - they're definitely not good, but they're also not bad by any stretch. The Ramon match really didn't need to go as long as it did, the Mabel squash wasn't necessary, and we didn't need the non-finish in the main event. But a match between Sid and Diesel wasn't even bad, which is a minor miracle in itself."
