[6.0] "This show was a bit up and down, the tag title matches were the highlight here especially the co-main event"

[5.0] "Under-card was average at best. Junior match was a HUGE disappointment(**). World Title match was a mild disappointment(***) Both tag title matches were great (****). On the whole the show wasn't unbearable or anything as it is only like what? 2 hours? So it goes by pretty fast. I'm just saying you can streamline it even faster by only watching the tag title matches and skipping the rest as nothing else is really not worth going out of your way to watch. Unless you are big into All Japan."

[8.0] "This was a great show. All Japan in recent years have really fine-tuned their ability to not stay past their welcome with not only matches but shows generally. In fact, I think they're the best at it out of all promotions in the region. This can be seen in the opening matches that were worked like opening matches. There was no obligatory feeling of ''we must go ten minutes'' or anything, the wrestlers just did what they intended to do and then left. It also applied to the main event matches because all the guys working in them have a great idea of pacing. Jun Akiyama knows how to ramp up the intensity of a match and also how to really bring it home, all with an inexorable grace. TAJIRI is a master of limbwork and, harkening back to the days of Fujinami in the 70s, is able to go from holds to brutality without sacrificing the story that the holds established. The big man himself Suwama and Miyahara creating magic together with the perfect contrast their pairing brings. Joe Doering, perhaps the living embodiment of this new All Japan style, fights in such a way where you're surprised his opponents even last more than ten minutes with him. All of it is brilliant, and none of it goes too long. Great wrestling, a great show, and you're home in time for dinner."

[6.0] "First three matches were awful. All Asia Tag Title Match: ****1/4 Incredible near falls and overall talent. Junior Title Match: *** Had a good start to mid part but was hindered by Tajiri uninspired night. AJPW Tag Title Match: **** Nice power vs agility struggle and Kento always has a special place in these types of matches, incredible showing by Yoshiken. Heavyweight Title Match: *** Not as good as Joe vs Zeus and KAI's a big waste of time."

[6.0] "All Asia tag title match: ***3/4. Pretty good by the end. World Tag title match: ***1/2. Can't believe i got talked into watching another Yoshitatsu match but i did. It was good, despite him. He was fine though. Miyahara was great as usual, as was Shuji. Main event: ***2/3. Very good. Doering is a great hoss. KAI is a geek. Such is life. Good stuff."

[4.0] "One match show. Undercard is real fucking bad, though deserves some credit for continuing to demonstrate the ongoing Okada/Sato schism. Both the All Asia and Junior Heavyweight Title matches come close to being worthwhile, but ultimately just don't quite get there (to cram in a positive point: if you happen to be a big Nomura fan, this was a definitely a landmark event for him). World Tag Title match was excellent and most certainly within the realm of high quality shown in their December encounter. All four guys have such tremendous interplay and work so well together; particularly the duo of Yoshitatsu and Miyahara, which is actually a rather advanced pairing considering they are far more similar in terms of their personas then one might initially perceive. KAI main event baby! IMMENSE fan of him taking Doering to near-falls and kicking out of a ton of shit (this is absolutely for the wrong reasons). Excellent dissection material if you want to watch the air come out of a crowd in real time."

[7.0] "The best promotion in the world puts out another good show. The opener was heated and a good build to a number of matches in the jr battle of glory league ***. The old man tag was fun with the usual fuchi antics, kikuchi is not fun to watch **. big guns yoshie vs indy sleaze and nishimura was short and brutal, zeus vs nishimura would be fun **3/4. now we get onto the important stuff, all asia tag was great nomura puts on another babyface performance and akiyama is still amazing ****. jr title was the best of tajiri's reign it was still formless in parts it had a good macro story though ***. tag title featured the two best wrestlers in the world and was outstanding, not as good as the tag league but still great ****1/4. main event the runaway locomotive continues to plow on, beating the hometown boy in less than 15 mins and while giving kai some offense never looked like he was out of control, one of the best booked champs in the world along with Kenoh ****. These Big ajpw arena shows are good but never as good as the korakuens as full shows particulaly in this arena which is a shithole. but overall a very good show."

[5.0] "Kotaro Suzuki & Hikaru Sato & Yohei Nakajima & Koji Iwamoto -vs- Shuji Kondo & Atsushi Maruyama & Yusuke Okada & Keiichi Sato [* 3/4], Ultimo Dragon & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi -vs- Masanobu Fuchi & SUSHI [*], Zeus & The Bodyguard & Yutaka Yoshie -vs- Osamu Nishimura & Black Tiger VII & Masakado [* 1/2], Jun Akiyama & Yuji Nagata -vs- Ryouji Sai & Naoya Nomura - (All Asia Tag Title Decision) [** 1/4] Nice ending minutes, but they didn't do anything interesting with the rest of the match. Tajiri (c) -vs- Atsushi Aoki - (AJPW Junior Title) [* 3/4] It? s rarely a good sign when challenger and champion look bored before the match even begin. Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa (c) -vs- Kento Miyahara & Yoshitatsu - (AJPW Tag Title) [***] Part of the Yoshitatsu resurrection. He? s growing loads with Miyahara as his tag partner, and though this wasn't as good as their Real World Tag League match from last year, this was damn good! Especially the last 5 minutes was great with finisher-mania! Suwama nearly had Miyahara, but in the end it was Miyahara who had him trapped in a Shutdown Suplex. Joe Doering (c) -vs- KAI - (Triple Crown Title) [** 1/2] Best thing about this was KAI accidentally headbutting Doering? s cock on a powerbomb! Doering gave a real manly roar on that one! The match was buzzing, but never climatic. Typical of KAI, who? ve literary gone the school of SANADA as far as effort/potential is concerned. So it mostly came down to how much of a beating Doering was in the mood to give."
