The announcement of a 16-man, single elimination tournament is also a very good way to keep me coming back to the show."

[7.0] "Pretty show. Average segments, the Tournnament will be exciting! Pretty opener (***1/4) with two of the best wrestlers of the roster, the match is fast, but Metalik botchs two moves. Very good Main Event (***3/4), with a great technical match on the floor, TJP cheats according to his new gimmick."

[5.0] "205 Live beat SmackDowns ass this week! Cedric Alexander -vs- Gran Metalik ? (WWE Cruiserweight Title Tournament - Round 1) [**] Good 205 Live action. Little that sets it apart, but no doubt a fine effort by the two. Even if it was the over-pushed Alexander that won. But I? m happy to see Spud in the spotlight! TJP -vs- Tyler Bate ? (WWE Cruiserweight Title Tournament - Round 1) [** 1/2] Oh, they definitely tried. And it was a different kind of TJP match thanks to Bate showing him the way. But I'm not going to claim their styles mixed perfectly, for they struggled to build momentum a lot of the way. But I? m all for Bate coming in and delivering something smarter than the average WWE style. Unfortunately not anymore in this tournament for he's out in favor of TJP who held on to his trunks. And I can declare I'm a Spudie, regardless of them giving him a generic new name."

[8.0] "A much improved 205 vs the recent output. This ep was a reboot of sorts introducing a new GM and a the start of a single elimination tournament. Two good matches. TJP vs Bate got time and was very fun."
