[7.0] "Really weak undercard here where most matches underdeliver but the top two matches are great and both worth watching"

[7.0] "Juice/Kitamura: ***1/4. Maybe a bit too long. Elgin & Henare/SZG: **1/2. Suzuki has successfully gotten over his new Kneebar/Achilles hold. And now we're getting Suzuki/Makabe. For the IC title. Wow. Alright. LIJ/CHAOS 10 man: ***1/3. really good as usual whenever this match up takes place. Surprised they haven't given more to SANADA in the build to his title match. Jr title match: ****1/4. This greatly well done. Matt was tremendous, as was Nick. Great storytelling here. Main Event: ****1/8. Great match. Maybe too long. Post match was easily the biggest thing on the show. Centering the Bullet Club around Cody is... interesting. And Page challenging for a title? What's up with that? Still, a good show."

[7.0] "Juice vs Kitamura was fine, perhaps Kitamura's best trial series match thus far. Nice near falls and Kitamura showed nice endurance and passion. **3/4. The Suzuki-gun 8-man tag had trademark annoying SKG brawling while the opposing Seki-gun just ran through the motions. Shota was fired up and enjoyable to watch as always though, as was Taichi. **1/2. Yano & Ishii vs Yujiro & Leo was surprisingly okay. Some fun Yujiro and Ishii interactions held the match up, while Leo and Yano did nothing. **1/2. The Bullet Club 8-man tag had fine work from old hands Tenzan and Nakanishi, that's all I remember. Nothing bad but barely interesting. **1/4. Suzuki & Iizuka vs Elgin & Henare was the absolute worst match. Iizuka is the worst wrestler in NJPW yet he got a majority of the focus here. I did at least like Suzuki continuing the trend of winning matches with submission holds. **. Interesting to see Makabe challenge Suzuki. That could be fun. The Bullet Club 6-man tag had everyone doing lots of work but it was all rather uninteresting. Got better as the pace picked up. I HATE that Kushida took the pin from Page of all people. **1/4. The Chaos vs LIJ 10-man tag was pretty good. Yoshi went hardcore on Naito, Hiromu and Ospreay had more fantastic exchanges, Sanada showed more emotion here, and Okada continued being a major prick. Became a very fun spotfest with everyone getting their stuff in. ***1/4. Young Bucks vs R3K was very good with the great story of Matt's back being worked over. It led to many great moments and of course there was the cool moment of R3K winning back their titles. ***3/4. Omega vs White was awesome. Finally White proved his worth, and of course Omega played a bit part in that. Fantastic storytelling and athleticism. ****. The post-match Bullet Club split and Golden Lovers reunion was very emotional and a fantastic finish to the show."

[7.0] "For some reason this dragged on way longer than the previous night, but still a pretty decent show. Tag match had excellent (albeit repetitive) psychology, but I question the title change, ****1/4. Main event was great as most Kenny Omega matches tend to be, but Jay still couldn't get over even if he was keeping up, ****1/4. Also, GOLDEN FUCKING LOVERS!"

[5.0] "Juice Robinson -vs- Katsuya Kitamura [**], Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Taka Michinoku & Taichi & El Desperado -vs- Jushin Thunder Liger & Tiger Mask & Ryusuke Taguchi & Shota Umino [**], Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano -vs- Yujiro Takahashi & Hikuleo [* 1/4], Bad Luck Fale & Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa & Chase Owens -vs- Togi Makabe & Hiroyoshi Tanzan & Manabu Nakanishi & Tomoyuki Oka [* 1/2], Minoru Suzuki & Takashi Iizuka -vs- Michael Elgin & Toa Henare [* 1/4], Cody & Hangman Page & Marty Scurll -vs- Kota Ibushi & David Finlay & KUSHIDA [**], Tetsuya Naito & ? King of Darkness? EVIL & SANADA & Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI -vs- Kazuchika Okada & Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI & Will Ospreay & Gedo [** 1/4], Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (c) -vs- SHO & YOH - (IWGP Junior Tag Title) [** 3/4], Kenny Omega (c) -vs- Jay White - (IWGP US Title) [** 1/2] Another overly long New Japan main event with Omega. This time it didn't work to full effect. Apart from the V-Triggers, which were excellent, the rest was rarely engaging. Followed the same pattern as the Young Bucks match where Omega was murdering White for the longest time, and there was no real crowd support for any comeback. And then the Switchblade won! Shocker! White? s push feels so forced and I? m not exactly hyped about what he? s been delivering since his return. However interesting things happened after the match as Cody turned on Omega and Ibushi came to the rescue! And the two hugged with confetti coming down on them. That I can appreciate!"

[10.0] "The two matches that really matter were very solid, with Omega/White being really good. The best thing about this show, however, was the final angle, and how it set so many matches for the future. We had the long-term Bullet Club storyline finally playing out, and the addition of Ibushi to it only made it more special. Also, we have so many side stories there that it's going to be interesting to see how they will move on from here."
