[8.0] "The rest of the show was solid but the main event was very good. Lee vs Ishii ****1/2 Far superior to their first match"

[7.0] "Aussie Open/Chosen Bros: ***1/2. My first time seeing Riddle and Cobb as a team, and my first time seeing Aussie Open at all. Aussie Open were good, but not overly impressive. Both guys are solid. Chosen Bros were great in this. This match was all them, and mostly Cobb. Chosen Bros pretty much outclassed them. Match was pretty good, and the finish was pretty clever. Ospreay/Phantasmo: ***1/4. This was good, but it had some issues. For one, I don't think the crowd ever really bought Phantasmo beating Ospreay. I know i certainly didn't. The crowd popped for some big moves here and there, but i felt there definitely was a disconnect. Another thing was this went too long. It just did. Ospreay went into this to try and get over Phantasmo. He ended up bringing out alot of good, but they did too much i think. Suzukigun/CCK: ***3/4. The exchanges between Banks and Suzuki were the highlight of this. Very good tag match. Main event: ****1/4 . This was pretty great. This was better than the last match they had here. Very hard hitting as you would expect. Pretty good show."

[8.0] "Brooks & Strickland had a fun spotty opener, but it didn't stand out to me much (***). Yehi and Bodom are two of the most distinct guys on the indies, and the match they had here was very nice; very fun opening sequences and some strong counters and unique strikes towards the end, although in the middle it felt a little dead; they brought it back with a very nice final few minutes, but this could've been a lot more (***1/2). Starr vs Chapman was pretty weird; the face/heel dynamic felt skewed because Starr was MUCH better than his opponent in the match after cutting a good promo and worked from underneath at the start; Chapman works like a young boy indie dude which is so weird considering that he was champ here, but the really great final 5-6 minutes really saved it and I think that was all on Starr being so damn good (***+). Aussie Open vs Chosen Bros was a super exciting tag match, with two really great hot tags from Davis and Riddle in the first half and a really awesome second half that broke down into some fantastic sequences with great pacing; a wonderfully put-together victory for the ozzies featuring THE LOUDEST CHOP I'VE EVER HEARD from Riddle to Davis (****1/4). Heel Ospreay has an edge that I like, but this match with Phantasmo had too many overly contrived spots and a lack of heat for like 70% of the match while going several minutes too long (**3/4). SZKG vs CCK was a very nice traditional tag with Suzuki & ZSJ being such brutal heels; chop exchanges in this one were good, and Suzuki intimidating the ref was great; it got too much time I think, but other than that I liked it a fair deal (***3/4). The main event was a big, BIG hoss clash, with every single spot in the book you could build to between these two WIDE, DENSE dudes; I feel like this, like basically every match on the card, got too much time, but this was still a fun banger with some great selling and strong builds to the big moments, like most Ishii matches (****+). A very solid show"
