[8.0] "8/10 - Great NXT television, all 3 matches were solid and told good stories. The main event is easily the best main event the TV show has had in a while. The only real drawback were the promo portions. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. 1. Sanity vs Undisputed - NXT Tag Team - ***1/4 - This was a good TV tag team match, but NXT has been producing classic tag matches for the past two years. In comparison to those matches, this one was just okay, better than a normal TV match, not on par with the NXT Takeovers. Promos with Sonya Deville and Heavy Machinery. So should we be expecting Deville to challenge Ember Moon for the title? She clearly won't win, but it could be a good holdover match while they build up a new challenger. I like Heavy Machinery, but I just can't get excited for anything involving Moss/Sabbatelli. 2. Sullivan vs Strong - *** - Another good TV match. Again, NXT specials have higher quality matches, but this was good for an NXT show. It wasn't as good as the Cole/Black or Ohno/Gargano qualifying matches, but definitely more entertaining than Dain/Seven. 3. Dunne vs Bates - UK Championship - ****1/4 - This was a solid main event. The match starts slow, a lot of chain wrestling and mat-centered fighting. The match picks up intensity, both guys kick out of each other's finisher. The only complaint I would have is that the last few minutes actually slow down too much and the crowd goes from hot to quiet and sitting on their hands. Good ending, excellent match, best TV match for NXT I've seen in a while. I really hope these two have a solid future with WWE, they're definitely highlights and they're super young."
