[4.0] "Wow, this was quite a bad show. There were a few highlights in Ospreay vs Taven and Lethal vs Scurll, but everything else was pretty bad or heavily disappointing. Ospreay vs Taven was a great opener: short and energetic. Both men were very energetic, pulling off some great high flying spots and taking some big bumps. I especially liked Taven's work as he felt very intelligent by managing to counter so much of Ospreay's offence. Ospreay himself had fantastic acrobatics and strikes. ***1/4-***1/2. The Addiction vs War Machine was alright. Nice methodical and sneaky tag-team work from Kazarian and Daniels to counter the power and strength of Rowe and Hanson. ***. Lethal vs Scurll was MOTN. Great psychology with both trying to out-cheat each other and some genuinely good wrestling exchanges and spots too. Lots of creative spots. ***1/2. MCMG vs Best Friends was really odd. Lots of comedy spots. MCMG were decent heels. Best Friends were entertaining. A lot of awkward chemistry but lots of contrived spots. An awful finish as Sabin no-sold a piledriver and got a cheap pin. **3/4. The TV title 4-way was quite bad. The work itself was actually fine, but the crowd totally did not care about anyone in the ring, which was a shame. At least Silas won, which was great. **1/4 Bully & Dreamer vs The Briscoes was just a hardcore nostalgia display. Lots of awkward brawling and weapon spots. Nothing too exciting. **. The 6-Man Titles match was a mess. Not totally bad, but a totally fake-looking acrobatic exhibition. A few decent spots, but far too many bad ones. **1/2. Cody vs Dalton was another match which seemed to fall victim to the crowd. They were totally dead here, which is weird because both wrestlers were over, so why didn't the crowd care? Alongside the bland on-and-off brawl the wrestling work was very basic. Nothing connected with the crowd except for Dalton's shock win. Cody losing the title should have been important, but here it felt like nothing. **."

[7.0] "Good show overall but not as good as some previous roh shows this year. Opener was good. Taven looked good. War machine/addiction was fast paced good match. Scurll/lethal was great. MOTN for sure with great storytelling and hot crowd. Tag title match was disappointing. 4 way was just there. Street fight was fun for what it was. 6 man tag was usual bucks match but pretty damn entertaining. ME was solid, but just a usual cody 3 star match. Nothing much special."

[8.0] "The final major show of 2017 for ROH featured some great stuff. The main event featured strong performances and a great moment with Dalton taking the title (of course, I especially enjoyed seeing a local guy make it to the top), Lethal and Scurll put in a show-stealing grudge match, Briscoes vs Bully/Dreamer brought back fond ECW memories, and the six-man title got people buzzing with a sequence that went viral (admittedly, I thought that sequence did come off as a bit contrived out of context, but to be fair it was meant to be a crowd-pleasing spot within a larger match) Everything else was also solid-to-good, and from a booking standpoint, I can't find fault with any of the match results. Good show."

[7.0] "Fun show, but not nearly as good as it could have been. Opener was really fun with Taven getting the upset, ***3/4. WM vs Addiction was a bunch of moves, ***1/2. Scurll vs Lethal was obvious MOTN with the awesome story it told, ****1/2. MCMG vs Best Friends was good with a weird finish, ***3/4. Television title match had good workrate but the crowd didn't care about any of the guys, ***1/4. Briscoes vs Bully and Dreamer was surprisingly really fun, ***3/4. Hung Bucks vs Flip and Lucha friends was of course a crazy spot fest, ****. Main event was alright with Castle finally getting his moment, ***1/2."

[9.0] "Taven/Osprey - A good opening match for Final Battle. I was surprised by the winner. But in the end it make sense. Taven knew how to fight with high flyers because of his run in CMLL and especially had The Kingdom behind his back, ***1/4. War Machine vs The Addiction - An another good match. Daniels and Kaz must fight in two against one of WM. Highlights of the match is Daniels' character work and Hanson athletic skills, ***. Lethal/Scurll - That was fucking amazing! Just great storytelling from bottom to the top. Did Scurll want the heel version of Jay Lethal? He got it! The chair spot was brilliant. Match of the night, ****1/2. MCMG vs Best Friends - Which team has the better friends? This is what the match was all about. The finish was lame and cheap, ***1/4. 4 Corner Survival - It started being meh but after Taylor was eliminated things got interesting. Then King was eliminated which was best for the course of match. I'm so glad that Young finally won a title in ROH, ***1/4. Team ECW vs The Briscoes - Great storytelling, big spots and red hot crowd. This is exactly what this type of match need to be great, ****. Young Bucks match, just leave rating here, ***3/4. Castle/Rhodes - This was great main event for the great PPV. The story they told was wonderful. Thanks God that Cody's reign come to the end and Dalton Castle has finally the championship, ****1/4. Final Battle was probably the best show of ROH in 2017."
