[7.0] "All Japan’s best show since summer, with mostly a positive vibe and a crowd loving what they were being served! Ultimo Dragon & Osamu Nishimura & Masanobu Fuchi -vs- Koji Iwamoto & Atsushi Maruyama & Fuminori Abe [* 1/2], Kotaro Suzuki & Yohei Nakajima & Keiichi Sato -vs- Atsushi Aoki & Hikaru Sato & Yusuke Okada [** 1/4] This actually had heat! Manabu Soya & Black Tiger VII -vs- Tajiri & KAI – (RWTL 2017) [**], Ryouji Sai & Masakado -vs- Zeus & The Bodyguard – (RWTL 2017) [** 1/4], Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori -vs- Joe Doering & Taiyo Kea – (RWTL 2017) [** 1/2], , Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani -vs- Naoya Nomura & Yuma Aoyagi – (RWTL 2017) [** 3/4] Quality young man’s battle. A little rough in parts, but no doubt they wanted to deliver. Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa -vs- Kento Miyahara & Yoshitatsu – (RWTL 2017) [*** 1/2] Here was a tag match that just kept giving! Exciting the longer it went. And Suwama & Ishikawa was such an amazing team! Real ace stuff. But probable the most spectacular thing to come out of this one was the resurrection of Yoshitatsu. With Miyahara by his side, he’s gaining confidence by the ounce and it shows in his performance. Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa -vs- Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani – (RWTL 2017 Decision) [***] Hashimoto & Kamitani started strong, but eventually Kamitani was isolated and up-against such a big guy as Ishikawa he was gradually torn to pieces."

[5.0] "A show that bore equal positives and negatives. The Suzuki/Sato-focused dynamic in their six man tag made for an extremely compelling character-driven match that allowed Okada to shine bright, while both Okami vs. NEXTREAM and Miyahara/Yoshitatsu vs. Ishikawa/Suwama were fantastic bouts (particularly the latter) that you should definitely take the time to watch. Elsewhere however, there were PLENTY of underwhelming moments to be found all across the undercard, with the opener, KAI/Tajiri vs. Soya/Tiger and Wild Burning vs. Doering/Kea all being particularly egregious and resulting in a show that simply felt incomplete – really disappointing. While it shouldn’t have been executed in any other manner, the main event did feel hollowly flat (bordering on slightly silly in certain aspects) in its spot of immediately following the excellent semi-final – I do think a greater berth with regards to the match-to-match interval would have benefited things. It should also be mentioned that a fantastic crowd was on hand."

[10.0] "Great show for All Japan, in quite some time. Solid undercard. Sai & Masakado vs. Big Guns was pretty good, nothing special (***); BW vs. Kea & Doering was good, awesome action, fast paced (***1/2); Okami vs. Yuma & Nomura was great. Nomura & Aoyagi are going to be stars soon, and their continue to impress as a tag team. Awesome match. (****); Violence Giant vs. Miyahara & Tatsu RULED. The crowd went nuts for the match and reminded me some amazing AJPW tag action from the 90's. Everybody was great, even Tatsu (****3/4); The finals was short, but stiff and fast paced. The Shuji/Kamitani moments were awesome. Loved it. (****1/4). Overall, one most fun shows to watch in a long time and one of the best of the year for me."
