The opener was pretty good, but it disappointed me, and the smackdown womens title match wasnt too good. The tag team match for me was the match of the night, which had proper stuff. Styles vs joe was just too good of a match, the mixed tag team match had more moments than the actual match. the main events were both disappointing, with a terrible ending. In conclusion, i did not expect this ppv to be a downgrade, but it is what it is."

[9.0] "WWE Hell In A Cell (2018) started off so strong with Hardy Vs Orton inside HIAC, Becky Vs Charlotte, Shield Vs Ziggler and McIntyre and AJ Vs Joe 2, but then it falls off bit of a cliff with the mixed tag, Ronda Vs Alexa's weaker extended rematch and Roman Vs Braun inside HIAC ending in no contest and shenanigans with the worst HIAC endings ever for a whole year till 2019 happened. Overall WWE Hell In A Cell (2018) is a great and entertaining show despite it's very weak last half and had so much amazing and fun stuff."

Going from looking to be the best WWE PPV of the year to looking to be just another terrible one among the flock of terrible WWE shows held this year. It can't be understated that the final three matches make up some of the most drab and unbearable wrestling WWE has had end a show in the last decade. With the Main Event especially being a serious contender for the worst WWE Match of the decade Orton/Hardy **** Lynch/Flair ***1/4 Ziggler & Mcintyre/Shield ****1/2 Styles/Joe ***3/4 Maryse & Miz/Bryan & Brie ** Rousey/Bliss *3/4 Reigns/Strowman -***"

[4.0] "Not quite sure how on earth this has such a decent rating- I stepped away from following the Fed a while back so this was the first PPV (other than NXT and the MYC) since the previous Wrestlemania so I can't comment on if this is better than previous events, but it was a bit of a stinker. Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton: Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow. Has Jeff added anything to his arsenal in the last fifteen years? Orton had a few nasty cuts but the finish was incredibly poorly timed with Jeff looking like a moron after dropping so long after Randy had left the table. Not a good start. Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair Better and with an out of nowhere finish. I'm not a fan of Charlotte in any way but this was a perfectly serviceable match. Ziggler/Drew vs Dean/Seth You generally get good stuff with Seth and Ziggler and generally this was easily the best match of the card so far. The last five minutes when the pace picked up were really pretty good. Styles vs Joe An okay match that is probably weighted down with the weight of my expectations. I've seen them do much better elsewhere but again, a perfectly decent match with a finish built up to get another big PPV match off them. Miz/Maryse vs Bryan/Brie Total non-event. Ronda vs Alexa The best thing about this match was Alexa's facial expressions, she's such a good heel. Ronda still looks green and sloppy at times. Reigns/Strowman A dumb ending and some interference by the Shield and Ziggler/MacIntyre spoiled this. Camera cuts showing big holes in the cage for the wrestlers to climb to the top didn't help. not did Reigns and Strowman lying down for 10 minutes. Shame, as this wasn't a bad match up until this point."

Sort of ruined by the deflating main event and the subpar mixed tag, but overall much more exciting than most main roster shows normally are."

After MITB we saw 2018 UK tournament that was normal to me , first year was very better , then extreme rules god this ppv was so bad :/ next summer slam normal to me again. After this ppvs was time for Hell in a cell. in wwe this ppv was good as i said at first but still some matches in wwe have problem. I liked this matches in this ppv (orton vs hardy - becky vs charlotte - D&D vs shield - Ronda vs bliss) and other wasn't good enough for me BUT 1match JUST 1 match i hate and was awful , Couple vs Couple , wwe do this thing for 2time >> WHY WHY WHY when maryse don't want wrestle make match for her ! i was mad on this match really , its two last time i saw maryse in match without any wrestling move :/"

[6.0] "Randy Orton defeats Jeff Hardy (8/10) Arguably the best HIAC match in years, brutal spots, good flow, kept me into it. Just awesome. Becky Lynch defeats Charlotte Flair (6/10) Wasn't a very good match, weird botches here and there, but I'm glad Becky finally won the title! Good ending. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre (c) defeat The Shield (Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins) (7/10) Man, this one was very fast paced, good spots, plenty of near-falls, truly thought it was gonna end a few times, great performance from all 4 men. WWE Title Match AJ Styles (c) defeats Samoa Joe (19:02) (4/10) Wasn't much to see there, if I remember correctly. The ending was most likely intentional with AJ tapping out, but I feel like this could've been reversed right away. I know it was for the story, but they've done it before, so why not this time? Just seems like it's bad consistency to me. Also why wasn't this inside Hell in a Cell? Mixed Tag Team Match Maryse & The Miz defeat Brie Bella & Daniel Bryan (13:01) 3/10 Honestly they really missed out on making Bryan vs. Miz in Hell in a Cell here. Weird waste of a match for this rivalry I feel. Miz with another victory makes Bryan look a bit weaker, but I have to say it was unexpected. I just found myself not really caring about this as much as I wanted to. Ronda Rousey (w/Natalya) (c) defeats Alexa Bliss (w/Alicia Fox & Mickie James) 4/10 Ronda was great. More back & forth than their SummerSlam bout. Good filler I guess.... Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman (2. 5/10) Half the match wasn't even them... No contest ending, really? Even Roman winning with a pin after Lesnar's destruction would've made me happier. Lesnar's return was the highlight of this, anyway. Strowman needs to stop failing at getting the title as they build him as an unstoppable monster whol flips trucks but always fails when it counts. So this gets a 6 from me. Average at 4. 92 but Lesnar's return, the limited amount of match compared to previ"

[7.0] "The main event - a Hell in a Cell ending in a no-contest, with a good chunk of the match's runtime taken up by fighting between people not actually in the match - was a disaster, but overall the rest of the show was pretty solid. Ziggler/McIntyre vs Ambrose/Rollins was an excellent tag team match; Styles vs Joe was decent, if not quite as high-level as their past encounters in TNA; and Becky finally got her due in a good bout with Charlotte, and is on her way to becoming one of the best rebel babyfaces WWE has had in years (albeit purely by accident on WWE's part). The opener was by default the better of the two Cell matches, although it did feel a bit more like a TLC match that happened to have the cell around it than a HIAC per say (and that ear thing was one of the most cringe-inducing things I've seen in wrestling, and that's a list that includes Sid's broken leg and the collected works of Abdullah and New Jack). Overall, one of the better WWE main-roster PPVs of 2018 so far."

[7.0] "This PPV exceeded my expectations, even taking into account the horrible finish to it. I was more excited for the Randy-Jeff match than any other match on any PPV in quite a while, and they didn't disappoint. I was certain that Charlotte would retain but I was rooting for Becky, so I was pleasantly surprised with that outcome. The Raw tag title match was match of the night to nobody's surprise. Styles vs. Joe was good, but, like their SummerSlam match, could have been considerably better in my opinion. I thought the mixed tag match was the worst of the night, it just never clicked for me. Rousey-Bliss was solid and went about as well as I expected. I absolutely hate the idea of a Hell in a Cell match ending in a No Contest, so I highly disagree with that booking, but up until that point, the match itself was pretty good. Overall, this was one of the more enjoyable WWE PPVs of 2018 for me. Orton vs. Hardy: ***3/4; Lynch vs. Flair: **3/4; Dolph/Drew vs. Dean/Seth: ****1/2; Styles vs. Joe: ***1/2; Maryse/Miz vs. Brie/Bryan: **1/2; Rousey vs. Bliss: ***; Strowman vs. Reigns: ***"

[8.0] "Hardy/Orton was one helluva opener & one of the most memorable HIAC matches of the PG Era - some absolutely brutal stuff in it (***1/2), Becky/Charlotte was a good match w/ some solid storytelling (***1/4), Ziggler & McIntyre vs. Ambrose & Rollins was an absolutely awesome tag match - great structure & energetic performances by all involved (***3/4), I actually liked Styles/Joe more than their match @ SummerSlam - their dynamic of Joe giving Styles a beating while Styles fights from underneath ALWAYS works (***3/4), the mixed tag was brilliantly laid out; they made the absolute best out of the Brie vs. Maryse sections of the match, and of course the Bryan vs. Miz interactions were great (***3/4), Ronda/Bliss gets the MOTN honors; yet another simply outstanding big match performance by Ronda (****), Braun/Reigns was full of clusterfuckery by the end, but even before all that hit, it was super underwhelming by Braun vs. Reigns standards, after the wars they had last year (**). Overall HIAC was a damn good show! It's a shame that the main event was so meh, because if it had delivered, this could've been one of the best shows of the year, straight up. But even with it being disappointing, the show was really good overall."

[8.0] "One of the better WWE shows of the year. Pretty well balanced card that had a good mixture of match styles. The Raw tag was a superb wrestling match, the SD womens and WWE title matches both featured some good work, the Orton/Hardy opener gave us some good brawling and creative spots with a violent feel, perfect for the HIAC. The Raw women's match and the mixed tag were the only real low points and even they weren't terrible, just not memorable, deflating some of the momentum the show had built up to that point. The main event was brilliantly strange. Resembling a WCW style overbooking spectacular, numerous phases of run ins from faction members leading to brawling around the ring and on the roof of the cage where a guy has a kendo stick and some others go through tables, macing a special guest referee, someone breaks into the cage and attacks the guys inside. We just needed Sting and Luger fighting off the nWo in the aisle to complete the picture. That being said I'd enjoyed the show enough up to that point for me to be able to forgive them the ridiculous main event and its non finish."

[8.0] "Show was a tale of two halves: one half was full of great, four star quality matchups that kept me entertained throughout, with one of those being a new personal fav of mine in Orton/Hardy, and then we get the utter bullcrap that was the second half. Boring mixed tag, boring and overly long raw women's match and the main event was absolute garbage. Another boring match hampered by a confusing and unsatisfying ending. Another case of WWE blowing their load too early and getting all the brilliant matches out of the way before climaxing on a disappointment yet again. It's definitely one of the better WWE PPVs of the year based on those first four matches alone but damn, WWE sure knows how to kill a crowd by the end."

[7.0] "Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton: Awesome opener. Orton slowly beating down Hardy, being highly focused on the back of Hardy and inflicting more and more damage on it using leather belts and chairs etc. And when he used the screwdriver I thought I was watching a Jun Kasai deathmatch. It was gnarly. ***½. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch: This was a fine match. Good exchange of technical holds throughout the match. It just lacked the heat and intensity the feud was seemingly built upon. **½. Ziggler & McIntyre vs Ambrose & Rollins:The finished obviously ruled and they had a great finishing stretch. It took a while, around 10-15 minutes or so and it was very boring for a lot of the match, nothing wrong with it but they seemed to be going through the motions for large parts of the match. **½ AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe: Decent match. Loads of tension felt but the lack of crowd interaction harmed the match. Some parts of the match was in silence. Wasn? t into the finish, to be honest but it means the feud continues to great! ***¼. Brie & Daniel Bryan vs. Maryse & Miz: Really enjoyed this match. It was not surprising that the match was at its best when bryan and Miz were facing off. Thankfully it was like that for most of the match. The crowd was crazy into this match as well. Had very little expectations but they exceeded them. ***½ . Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Alexa Bliss: I thought this was really good. Bliss did a great job at tagretting the ribs and pelvis area. Ronda did a great job at selling it too. The comebacks were a bit corny but fine enough. Ronda is really coming along on her own. Bliss was great in the match, IMO. ***. Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman: I didn? t like this at all really. I found myself disinterested pretty quickly and they never brought me back until the Brock bits which were awesome. Don? t know what else to say. *½"

[8.0] "A really good show that kept my attention. HOWEVER, the last 3 matches really fell flat for me. On this specific post i'll rate the matches that aren't recommended on the main page. My ratings for the ones that are can be found on that matches page. /// Charlotte vs Becky - Started off a little sloppy but it eventually found it's rhythm. Again, the crowd isn't buying this heel Becky attempt. The finish was good and got a pop out of the crowd and me, I am glad Becky is getting what she deserves. ***1/2 /// Mixed Tag Match - Sloppy, boring, bleh. This was the start of the matches that fell really flat for me. Nothing else to really say about it. *3/4 /// Rousey vs Bliss - I had high hopes for this match since I think Bliss is a great performer and Rousey is doing good as well. Unfortunately, it was the second match in a row to fall flat. It was an ok match but no where near my expectations (probably more my fault then theirs). I wish Alexa pulled off that trick where she can hyper extend her arm. Would've made the arm bar look more devastating. **1/2 /// Reigns vs Strowman - And now our main event. Boy oh boy where do I begin? Micks botch wasn't a good way to start the match. The action felt like a repeat of every HIAC match ever. The biggest flaw comes from the fact that in a 24 minute match, Reigns and Braun were laying down for 50% of it. All the cool spots came from Dolph/Drew/Dean/Seth who WEREN'T IN THE MATCH! Then we have Lesnar return (whatever) and the Hell In A Cell match ends in..... no contest? What? Lazy booking even by WWE standards! **"

Orton vs Hardy was a hilarious but good match as well. First 4 matches alone make this their best ppv all year. After the mixed tag it went downhill but some of the stuff was still enjoyable. Even the shit finish to the main event was quality entertainment I come to expect from this company. Fun show"

Anticlimactic end but an amazing spot before it ****. Charlotte/Becky was good. Had some great moments but was sloppy in others. All around it was fun though and glad Becky won ***1/2. Raw Tag title was great. Went a bit long and took a while to get going but once it did it was awesome fun. Really great nearfalls among the action. Really cool end as well ****1/4. Styles/Joe was fantastic and a perfect follow up to SummerSlam. Such great chemistry between them ****1/4. Miz+Maryse/Bryan+Brie was fun but nothing special **1/2. Rousey/Bliss went way longer than it should've but overall was ok **. Reigns/Strowman was a shitshow. The match was decent but not special. The cage fighting was fun but the table bump was nothing new. Then Lesnar interfered which was cool. But as a whole this was a waste **."

Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch was a match I enjoyed, I also enjoyed the mixed tag match and AJ vs Joe which seems to be setting up more for the feud and I thought that was a good thing. However the RAW Tag Team match felt overlong wasn't into that at all, RAW Women's title match wasn't anything special and the main event was absolutely awful. In this case the bad outweighs the good by a much larger margin."
