[4.0] "Probably the best episode of ECW TV so far, which is of course a phenomenally low bar to clear. The tag match was... not terrible, it had a few worthwhile moments. Shane Douglas debuts in the aftermath and quickly beats up two jobbers. Best thing for me was the title match, I really like Tito and he looked good here, perhaps a bit past his prime but way better than most of these old people. Muraco isn't trying super hard but he's not terrible either, and Tito is my favorite new champion so far. So not great but not really bad like some of these episodes."

[5.0] "The show starts with a solid match between the Gilberts and Tommy Cairo/JT Smith, ending in a DQ due to foreign object usage. Shane Douglas makes a strong debut and joins Hot Stuff International. He squashes Don E. and Herve in under a minute. Tito Santana wins the ECW title in a real finish match against Don Muracco. The show also features a replay and a promo from Stan Hansen and Tito Santana."

[6.0] "Fun episode of Hardcore TV. Couple ECW debuts with Shane Douglas and Tito Santana both showing up for the first time. I don't understand the replay of Terry Funk vs Canadian Wolfman being on this show after a new set of TV tapings just a week ago, but it didn't effect the show too much. Find my full analysis on the Extreme Timeline podcast."
