[7.0] "I was in attendance live and it was a fun show. The crowd was on fire for the tag team championship match as well as the triple threat. Not a spectacular PPV but not a bad one either."
[8.0] "Für mich im Jahre 2017 einer der besten PPV's. Opener war sehr Gut geführt und hat genau die richtige Zeit bekommen. Dolph Ziggler als Champion zu krönen damit er ihn gleich danach wieder als Vakant erklärt fand ich absolut beschissen. Aber es geht ja hier um das Match und das hat mir gut gefallen (***1/4). Tag Team Championship Turmoil Match danach war für mich das Match of the Night. Sehr schnelles Wrestling und schöne Spots und jeder hat die Zeit bekommen um zu zeigen was man drauf hat (****1/4). Charlotte vs. Natalya haben in 10 Minuten auch ein Solides Lumberjill Match auf die Beine gestellt. Die Bludgeon Brother's brauchte Ich um ehrlich zusein nicht grade hier bei dem PPV. Man hätte sie auch Gut bei SmackDown weiter aufbauen können. Tag Team Match danach auch Solide bis Gut. Mir gefallen auch die Rollen von Sami Zayn und Kevin Owens sehr Gut (***1/4). Und der Main Event war mit beteiligung von AJ Styles echt auch ansehlich. Wobei Mahal auch wirklich nicht schlecht aussah in dem Match (***1/4). Fazit: Einer der besten WWE PPV's im Jahre 2017."
[6.0] "Der Opener ist schnell geführt und ohne Leerlauf und es gibt einen Überraschungssieger mit Dolph Ziggler, dessen Sieg man hier definitiv nicht erwarten konnte und für den dieser Sieg der größte Erfolg in ganz 2017 war. Das Turmoil-Match mit der Neuerung, dass 4 Personen gleichzeitig im Ring sind verspricht in der Theorie mehr Action, hält dieses Versprechen aber nur im gut choreografierten Schluss sowie am Anfang. Zwischendurch finden hier aber eher 2 Kämpfe parallel zueinander statt. Hieraus hätte die WWE auch eine komplette Stuntshow machen können. Charlotte vs Natalya ist nicht gut. Der Fokus lag zu sehr auf dem Riott Squad und zu wenig auf der eigentlichen Paarung, nur dass eben außer etwas Gebrawle nichts passierte - schwach. Danach durften die Bludgeon Bros noch squashen, nicht der Rede wert. Das folgende Tag Match inkl. 2 Special Guest Referees war zwar nicht schlecht, aber bis auf die Schlussphase auch nichts Besonderes. Es bleibt spannend ob die Shane/ Daniel Bryan Fehde wirklich in einem Match mündet. Das Main Event Match hat mir gut gefallen, vor allem AJ bumpt wie ein Irrer um Jinder gut aussehen zu lassen und zieht diesen zu seinem vielleicht besten Match. Insgesamt eine ansehnliche Show, natürlich nichts was man gesehen haben muss, aber Opener und Main Event sind einen Blick wert, und bis auf das Damen Match tut auch nichts weh."
[7.0] "Nothing unmissable, the tag titles would be my pick for match of the night but even that took a while to find it's rhythm with the unorthodox rules, but once it got into it Rusev & Gable looked like stars. US title was a well done 3 way but baffled with Ziggler winning. Women's match was nothing special, while another Charlotte/Natalya match could have certainly used a stipulation to spice it up, I don't think lumberjack was the one to do that - no real interesting story told other than Carmella's teased cash-in and Riott Squad already come off as complete afterthoughts. Bludgeon Brothers & Breezango should have been more competitive, Breezeango are better than squash fodder and it's not like it did a huge amount for the Bludgeon Brothers either. The 2 refs match started slowwww but got into the story by the end, I really hope that was a Shane heel turn though, he's been totally unlikeable for a long time now. AJ/Mahal was predictably AJ doing his best to make Jinder vaguely interesting and only succeeding in parts. His title win infront of the hot UK crowd was a much better match. Bye bye Jinder in main events, won't be missed. This show started off good and never got truly bad but didn't really keep up that momentum either. Rusev being extremely over was highlight of the night."
[7.0] "Surprisngly good PPV. The Triple Threat was well paced with some good sequences and ring work (****). The 4-way tag match was MotN with a chaotic pace and every team looking great (****). Lumberjack match was boring, these two could definitely do better (**). BB vs Breezango was a squash, not much else to say (**). The career tag match was messy and overbooked, but entertaining in spots with a nice finish (**1/2). The WWE title match was really good, among Jinder's best with some good psychology and storytelling (***1/4). Overall a good PPV which delivered more than it initially seemed it would."
[5.0] "The last WWE PPV is generally a B-show, and this year's didn't pretend to be anything else. Styles got a pretty good match out of Jinder in what will presumably be Jinder's exit from the main event scene for the time being. Owens/Zayn vs Orton/Nakamura featured great competitors but was hampered by the bickering-referees angle. The other matches were fine enough, though the Bludgeon Brothers squash didn't really need to be on PPV, and there seemed to be a lot of downtime to stretch this out to PPV length. Not an awful show, but a somwhat uninspiring end to the year for WWE."

[1.0] "The only good things on this show were the us title and tag title matches. And even those 2 matches were not must watch. Anything else was laughable. Women title match was a total mess, overbooked. It proves that women division was a total joke. Harper/rowan's squash match was just there, but it needed to be. Tag team match was another joke. The highlights were shane and bryan. 4 good wrestlers did a very tedious, soulless performances for sure. The match looked like a traditional TNA main event. AJ/mahal wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. AJ bumped his ass off well, but mahal was totally awful. The good new was AJ went over. Hopefully, we get something new here. OVerall, a terrible show with only 2 good matches. That's it. You don't miss much on this show."
[6.0] "I rate by averaging out my overall match ratings to give an overall rating (few points may be added for anything extra special! ) Dolph Ziggler match ? 2/10 ? Don? t like Ziggler or Roode and find their wrestling styles to be quite boring, hence the very low marks. Usos match ? 9/10 ? Brilliant action from start to finish. The smackdown tag division is brilliant and its great to see how well Rusev and English work as a team. Charlotte match ? 2/10 ? Not a fan of womens wrestling but nice finish for Charlotte Bludgeon Brothers match ? 4/10 ? Very quick squash match which regrettably came at the expense of Breexango (a team which I enjoy). New gimmick but no real change for Harper and Rowan. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens match ? 7. 5/10 ? This was an OK with good spots throughout. Some of the work was quite sloppy but the ending saved the match. AJ Styles match ? 8. 5/10 ? This was a very good match. It was good to see the Singh brothers relatively subdued throughout the match and a good showing of Jinder? s viciousness."
[5.0] "So this show was fine. There were no matches that stood out as incredible or show-stealing, but a few matches were relatively enjoyable. 1. Ziggler vs Roode vs Corbin - US Title - ***1/2 - Easily the best match of the night, last couple of minutes were exciting and the finish was creative. 2. Usos vs New Day vs Rusev/English vs Gable/Benjamin - Tag Team Titles - ***1/4 - This match was bit of a clusterf*ck there in the beginning. Four men in the ring at the same time made the action hard to follow, and forced specific wrestlers to bide time and do little while others went through the motions. Same as US title, last few minutes were good. Gable was great. 3. Flair vs Natyla - Women's Title - ** - Flat match, little action. Women are talented, but get stuck with this dumb gimmick match. Natayla's promo afterwards was confusing. 4. Bludgeon Brothers vs Breezango - *1/2 - Just a squash match, so you know, it was what it was. Would have been more impactful if these weren't two guys I've been watching be stuck in the mid-card for several years now and was instead a new debut. Still, it's good to have them back. 5. Zayn/Owens vs Orton/Nakamura - *** - Would have been so much better without the two referee stipulation. I think it was one of those things where it was better on paper than execution. Bryan/McMahon just clogged up the ring and took away from 4 guys who could have had MOTN easy. Still okay, but holy hell was it slow. Seems to be a theme for tonight. 6. Styles vs Mahal - WWE Title - *** - I'm conflicted. On the one hand, AJ gave Mahal the best match of his career in WWE. On the other hand, it went on for a long time, and Styles can only do so much with Mahal. As mentioned before, the show was fine, but there was nothing truly special on the card. A few matches had potential, but got bogged down by weird pacing or impractical stipulations."
[6.0] "Der Opener ist das beste Baron Corbin Match das ich bislang gesehen und aufgrund des Tempos und der Kontersequenzen ein klasse Start. Auch die Sequenz wo alle ihre Big Moves reinbekommen wollen ist wirklich klasse. Der Sieger macht nur leider ( zumindestens nach jetzigem Stand der Dinge und angesichts des Builds) wenig Sinn. Für mich das Match of the night. Das Tag Team Title Match ist stark mit tollen Spots aber irgendwie -auch wenn Gable und Benjamin dabei sind- hat man das Gefühl Usos und New Day kommen langsam an ihr Ende und so langsam fällt ihnen nichts neues mehr ein. Charlotte gegen Natalya lebt von Sharpshooter vs. Figure 4 und wird etwas seltsam durch die stipulation und die kryptische Promo im Anschluss. Der Bludgeon Brothers Squash ist logisch und sinnvoll, hätte aber in die Pre Show gekonnt. Das Tag Team Match hat zwar einen guten Storytellingansatz aber wird zuweilen chaotisch und unlogisch. Das Finish ist jedoch gut. Das Main Event ist das beste Match in Mahals Karriere. AJ zieht ihn zu einem zwar technisch nicht überragenden aber spannenden Match, in dem die Offensive von Mahal so gut aussieht wie noch nie. Insgesamt ein anständiger PPV auf solidem Niveau, ohne die großen Ausreißer nach oben und unten, wobei man Opener und Main Event lobend hervorheben sollte."
[6.0] "Die drei Herren liefern einen frischer Opener, der überraschen flüssig daherkommt. Keine träge Corbin-Dominanz-Phase, kein Poser-Pacing, sondern direkt Action mit Kurzzeit-Allianzen, einem guten Hin und Her und einem kompakten Finish. Sehr ordentlich gemacht, die Crowd hilft es rund zu machen. (***¼) Freut mich für Ziggler, der nun hoffentlich mal den nächsten Schritt machen kann. Die Tag Team-Division ist bunt und lebendig, hier im Match fast etwas zu bunt, da nicht alles funktioniert, die Action sich aber sehenswert steigert. Netter Tease von einem Rusev-Sieg und dann sind da noch Benjamin & Gable, die mit leicht angepasster Attitude auch gut abliefern. Usos haben sowieso ein grandioses 2017, New Day fällt etwas ab, ruiniert das Match aber nicht. (***½) Die Damen tun sich schwer und es funktioniert einfach nicht. Natalaya wieder zum Verstecken und der Rest macht es Lotte auch nicht leichter. Zähe Kiste! Der Squash ohne echten Story-Aufbau tut fast weh, aber damit endet auch die schwache Phase des Events. War ja zu erwarten, dass das dritte Tag-Match des Abends storylastig werden würde, aber hier verpasst man die Chance, drumherum sehenswerte Sequenzen zu generieren. Dafür sind die McMahon/Bryan-Teile überraschend wenig nervig und in ihrer Steigerung sogar gut. (***) Zum Abschluss setzt AJ (hoffentlich) einen brauchbaren Haken an die Mahal-Story. Styles? Beinbearbeitungen bringen eine ordentliche Tiefe ins Match, die die übliche Mahal-Action dann doch aufwertet. Das Match lebt dank AJ Styles, aber das ist ja gewiss nichts Neues. Die Schlussphase ist ausgesprochen gut. (***) Insgesamt ein solider Event, der vieles richtig macht, sich aber dennoch nach Pflichterfüllung anfühlt und eben kein echtes Highlight bietet."

Rusev&English/New Day/Gable& Benjamin/Usos: ***, I cannot believe how Usos managed to retain the titles. Flair/Natalya: **1/4, this match was okay but Natalya should have won. Bludgeon Brothers/Breezango: DUD, no point in the match being on the card. Owens&Zayn/Nakamura&Orton: ****1/4: Cannot believe that Daniel Bryan fast counted, Owens & Zayn should have lost and got fired, WWE Title Match (Styles/Mahal): ****3/4, MOTN: Brilliant main event glad to see Mahal tap out. Overall rating: 8. 0"
[6.0] "Durchschnittlicher PPV. Der Opener war in Ordnung. Ein schön schnelles Match mit für mich einer der besten Leistungen die Roode gezeigt hat seitdem er bei SmackDown ist. Die ZigZag und End of Days Kombi sah stark aus. Überraschender Sieger mit Ziggler. Das Fatal 4 Way Tag-Team Match war gut. Diesmal war jeweils einer vom Team im Ring sodass es ein wirkliches Fatal 4 Way war. Die Verteidigung der Usos geht klar. Man sollte Rusev und English die Titel geben solange sie noch so starke Reaktionen erhalten. Die Women waren schlecht. Mit der Paarung Charlotte und Natalya werde ich nicht warm. Ziemlich zähes Match. Die Lumberjacks sind sowas von unnötig gewesen und die Promo hinterher von Natalya ist echt furchtbar gewesen. Breezango vs Bludgeon Brothers war sehr schlecht. Wie gewohnt einseitig. Zayn und Owens vs Orton und Nakamura war solide. Kein Wrestling Festival da mehr Story vorhanden war. Die zwei Referees nervten schon ein wenig und das Ergebnis war klar. Bryan pinnt für Owens und Zayn was aber gleichzeitig kein Heel Turn bedeutet. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Mit der Beteiligung Mahals kann das Adjektiv gut einfach nicht fallen. Mahal bearbeitet die Rippen AJ Styles aber Speed kam nur vom Champ. Da Mahal abgeklopft hat erhoffe ich das er nie wieder in die Region Main-Event kommt."
[5.0] "Ach, für den Abschluß des Jahres ist das doch eine ganz akzeptable Veranstaltung. Der Aufgalopp mit dem Triple Threat festigt eine anhaltend wohlwollende Haltung beim Publikum, während das Tag-Match da zwar nicht qualitativ, aber immerhin stimmungstechnisch anschliesst. Überhaupt gibt es nur einen richtigen Tiefpunkt bei diesem Event, und das ist der unnötige Squash an Breezango durch die hammerschwingenden Harper und Rowan. Dazwischen liefern Charlotte und Nattie kein Match am Limit, aber etwas, über das man sich nicht aufregen muss. Die Tränen der Neidhart-Tochter scheinen real, naht da ein Abschied in die Familienplanung? Ähnlich spekulativ kann man mit dem Co-Mainer mit den zwei Ringrichtern umgehen - als Match bleibt das, überwiegend dank Orton, deutlich hinter seinen Möglichkeiten zurück, als Storyvehikel ist hier aber von Rohrkrepierer bis Mania-Blast mit DB-Comeback noch alles möglich. Bleibt ein Hauptmatch, dass von Styles getragen auch Jinder Mahal ordentlich abliefern lässt, selbst wenn man ihn trotz vorheriger Regentschaft im Titelpicture immer noch nicht richt wahrhaben möchte. Man muss sich an dieser Show nicht stossen, das ist im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten ein versöhnlicher Jahresabschluß, aber das ist natürlich auch nicht die absolute Jahresabschluß-Krönung, wie es Starrcade noch vor zwanzig Jahren gewesen ist. Solide fünf Punkte von mir."
[7.0] "Der Opener ist solide, hätte aber durchaus spektakulärer sein können (7/10). Im 4-Way-Tag-Team-Match gelingt die Verquickung der Kontrahenten bookingtechnisch besser als im Opener, ohne dabei den Zuschauer optisch zu überfordern, am Ende gibt es auch ordentlich Action zu sehen (9/10). Das Hauptproblem von Lumberjack-Matches war es immer, dass in Sequenzen, in denen jemand außerhalb des Rings beschäftigt wird, die Matchstringenz abhanden kommt ? so auch hier. Dazu geht es auch zu lange zu gemächlich im Ring zu, ehe gegen Ende die Action noch mal etwas anzieht und einige gute High Spots gezeigt werden. Es bleibt auch zu hinterfragen, ob eine gefühlte Handvoll Lumberjacks (hießen die bei den Damen nicht mal ? Lumberjills? ) das Matchgefühl überhaupt richtig rüberbringen kann (5/10). Die Bludgeon Brothers squashen erwartungsgemäß Breezango (o. W. ). Beim anschließenden Tag-Team-Match mit 2 Special Referees ist Overbooking programmiert, das Match selbst bewegt sich im guten Bereich, ohne aber herausragend zu sein (8/10). Der Main Event ist so schlecht nicht: Es ist erstaunlich, was AJ Styles alles mit Jinder Mahal anstellen kann, das Ganze hätte man aber auch in deutlich weniger Zeit abhandeln können, zudem gibt es beim Booking der Singhs keinerlei Neuerungen (8/10). Gesamt: 7, 4."
[7.0] "Ich weiß gar nicht was die Mehrheit hatte, ich fand die Mischung aus Wrestling und Storyline gut gewählt. Der Opener was sehr unterhaltsam, auch wenn er weit hinter meiner Erwartung lag. Ziggler als Sieger war sehr vorhersehbar, da er schon wieder drüber nachdenkt zu gehen und die WWE das nicht will. Wie wäre es Ziggler mal generell zu pushen, damit er gar nicht gehen will? Dann kam das beste Match des Abends mit den richtigen Siegern, wunderbares Tag-Match, so gibt man seiner Division wieder Bedeutung. Da kann sich Raw eine Scheibe von abschneiden, ich habe schon vergessen wer da noch gleich die Tag-Champs waren. Das Damen-Match ist dann überraschend schlecht, wenn man bedenkt was die Beiden vor einigen Jahren noch bei NXT zeigen durften, dann ist das hier schon sehr ernüchternd. Dann gab es ein Filler-Match, welches der Show keinen Abbruch tut und die Bludgeon Brothers aufbaut. Das Tag Team Match mit der dummen Stipulation ist dann ein Story-Fest das meiner Meinung nach in die richtige Richtung geht. Zayn und Owens müssen definitiv auch noch stärker dargestellt werden. Eine Fehde zwischen Orton und Nakamura, sowie Shane und Bryan wäre nett. Der Main Event ist dann überraschend stark, was ehrlich gesagt nicht nur an Styles liegt. Mahal unterstreicht hier wieso es eben nicht falsch war ihn zu pushen. Der Titel kam definitiv damals zu "früh" für ihn, aber mit dem richtigen Aufbau und Booking hätte Mahal`s Regentschaft gar nicht so schlecht werden können. Zeigt leider nur wieder wie die WWE es mal wieder falsch angegangen ist. Alles in allem ein mehr als solider PPV der nur in einem Match ein Totalausfall war."
[6.0] "Acceptable event with some good matches but nothing major, it's predictable and without any big moment to enjoy. I don't like the story between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, but the match is okay. The main event is a good match, the tag teams are great and the match is exciting. Charlotte vs Natalya is the typical Lumberjack match."
[4.0] "1. Opener war zusammen mit dem TT Title Match für mich das MotN. Haben gut unterhalten. War kein Klassiker aber eben unterhaltend. Hat man Corbin erneut fallen gelassen? Zigglers Titelgewinn schmeckt mir auch nicht so recht. Vom nichts zum Champion. Ohne Aufbau, aber nicht ganz so schlimm wie bei Mahal. (3 1/4*) 2. TT Title Match war wie gesagt mit dem Opener mein MotN. Es dauerte ein wenig bis das Match an Fahrt aufnahm. Schlussphase war gut. Gable mit einen harten Suplex. Sah krass aus. Hätte hier den Duos Gable/Benjamin bzw. English/Rusev den Wurf gegönnt. Damit wäre der Titel mal weg aus der Usos/New Day Konstellation. (3 1/4*) 3. Charlotte/Nattie war dann schwach. Eines der schwächeren Aufeinandertreffen der beiden. Hier lag der Fokus zu sehr auf den Lumberjacks. Und Carmellas Cash In wurde geteast. Schätze mal der wird demnächst kommen. Aftermath lässt auf ein Karrierende Natties spekulieren. Dachte schon sie wird hier schon schlussmachen. (1*) 4. Bludgeon Bros. killen Breezango. Schade für Breezango die eigentlich sehr gut ankommen. Werden aber wohl nie den Titel gewinnen. (o. W. ) 5. TT Special Ref Match war schlecht. Ja man wusste dass der Fokus hier auf den Refs liegen wird. Aber in der Ausführung war das noch lahmer. Warum turnt man nicht hier schon. Es muss Bryan sein. Alles andere ergebe keinen Sinn. Match selber kann als eines der enttäuschensten des Jahres bezeichnet werden. Alles gute bis sehr gute Worker wenn sie wollen. Aber anscheinend wollte bis auf Sami keiner. Wahrscheinlich auch nur weil er den Pin einfahren durfte. (1/2*) 6. ME eines der besseren Mahal Matches. Gleichzeitig aber eines der schlechteren Styles Matches. Mahals Suplex gegen Styles war hart. Doch für den Schreckmoment sorgten andere: Die Kommentatoren bezeichneten Mahal als im ME angekommen. Bitte nicht. Hoffentlich st er jtzt dort weg. Für mich eine der schlechtesten längeren Wold Title Regentschaften aller Zeiten. Fast jedes Match grenzte an einer Qual. (2*)"
[6.0] "US Title Match (***1/4). Alright match, nothing special. Tag Title Match (****1/4). Fun match, good entertainment. Owens/Zayn vs. Nakamura/Orton (**1/2). It was alright to watch at the time but not worth a re-watch. WWE Title Match (***3/4). Solid main event match, without being overly spectacular."

Average, but interesting thanks to storyline match with 2 special referees and boring and too long Main Event. It wasn't good show and maybe it is one of the worst WWE PPV in 2017."

[6.0] "The opening match was really good despite Corbin (****). The Tag Team Fatal 4 Way was a good match, but it was hurt by the stipulation. Having four guys in the ring at the same time made things really confusing, and there were a lot of spots where thing simply didn't work. Also, at some points, the guys wouldn't attack each other, just a quick stare and back to what they were doing. No sense at all (***1/4). The Lumberjack match was terrible. It was even worse because most of the girls outside are just terrible. I think this team of Lana, Tamina, and Carmella is probably the less talented group of wrestlers I have ever seen (**3/4). The Tag Team match was great. Awesome storytelling and differently from the other matches, the stipulation actually worked here. You put a future Hall of Famer and three of the best wrestlers on the planet and there is no way you have a bad match (****1/2). Now, about the main event, thank God Jinder is done. I mean, he is done, right? I hope he is because there is no wrestler on the planet more capable than dragging down an opponent than him. He faces AJ "freaking" Styles and the match is really boring. And the worse part was they structure the match the same way they structured Lesnar/Styles. It's one thing to have Brock dominating a match. It's completely different when you have Jinder. At least, at the end, Styles really looked good, kicking out of Jinder's finisher and ending this reign of terror that I hope I will forget one day (**3/4)."
[3.0] "Almost entirely unwatchable. The women's match was possibly the worst women's match in the last ten years and very easily the worst match of the night and my personal worst match of the year. All three tags were frustrating in their own special ways and not near the quality any of them could've been. Everything else is totally skippable and had nothing worthwhile going on really. Jinder and AJ was solid but nothing special."
[5.0] "The opening match was better then I expected it to be. I only cared for Booby Roode in the match but It had some good moments and a surprise finish and it got me invested in the match. Good opening, it got the crowd pumped so it did it's job. Rating: **3/4 The Four Way tag match had great spots such as the rolling german suplexes from Gable but it was a bit of a clusteruck at time and hard to follow. Rating: **3/4 The lumberjack was dull and bad. The promo from Nattie after was just awful. Rating *3/4 Bludgeon Brother and Fashion Files was a sqaush but the bludgeon brothers look great, they looked like badasses in the matches. Shame about The Fashion Files but hopefully they can recover. Rating: DUD The Nakamura/Orton vs Owens and Zayn was above averge, it felt like a normal tag match on SD but witgh two refs instead of one. It was a story based match but the story is meh to be honest. Hopefully Bryan doesn't turn heel. I can't say this enough. Rating: ***1/4 Long, a bit dull but not the worst Mahal match ever. He looked better then usual but that's down to AJ's bumping and selling. Rating: ** Nothing on this show is above average but it's watchable"
[6.0] "Solider PPV. Three Way war insgesamt gut, auch wenn Corbins dominanzphasen super Langweilig waren *** 1/2. Tag Title Match ging auch recht holprig los, aber die letzten 5 Minuten waren Awesome *** 1/2. Charlotte vs Natalya war stinklangweilig und bot so viele Logik Löcher *. Tag Match DUD. CO Main Event war enttäuschend. Ich habe mir nicht viel erwartet und fand das Finish exzellent, aber es ist traurig diese 4 Genialen Performer in diesem Durchschnittsmatch zu sehen ***. Main Event war ein recht starker Abschluss für den PPV. AJ sah super stark aus und Jinder darf sich wieder in Richtung Midcard verziehen *** 1/4 ."
[6.0] "Ein sehr solider WWE Jahresabschluss. Der Opener ist gelungen und bietet direkt mal einen mehr als überraschenden Ausgang. Das anschließende Match um die Tag Team Titles ist mir zeitweise ein wenig zu chaotisch, aber dennoch durchaus unterhaltsam. Charlotte und Natalya bieten im Rahmen der Stipulation ein annehmbares Match, während es danach den erwarteten Squash gibt. Owens & Zayn vs. Orton & Nakamura erzählt die Geschichte rund um Bryan & Shane spannend weiter. Ein sehr passendes Finish in diesem Match, welches wrestlerisch allerdings nur "okay" ist. Der Main Event ist dann auch wahrlich kein Kracher, aber ein mehr als solides Match mit einem glücklicherweise klaren Sieg für AJ Styles. Insgesamt ist Clash of Champions ein ordentlicher PPV, bei welchem jedoch der ganz große Ausreißer nach oben fehlt."
[7.0] "Good PPV, 3 Way for the United States title was Freaking Great. I did not expect Ziggler winning the title. Tag Team Title Match: Awesome in my Opinion this is the best match of the night. These Suplex by Gable were Insane. Charlotte Flair vs Natalya: Here Botchamania makes a Party, what a bad match. The Bludgeron Brothers vs Breezango was Filling. KO And Sami vs Randy and Nakamura was more Story than In Ring Skills. Jinder Mahal vs AJ Styles: Fun Match, good work of both"
[5.0] "Ein typischer WWE B-PPV von 2017, man bekommt was man erwartet: solide Kost! Die ersten beiden Matches waren beide gut. Corbin ist eigentlich nur dann zu gebrauchen wenn zwei Gegner aufeinmal für ihn bumpen. Tag Team Title etwas konfuse, aber die Crowd geht super mit (je ***1/4). Danach fällt die Show leider ins bodenlose. Women's Title Match ist zum fremdschämen und dafür können Charlotte & Natalya nicht mal was. Breezango/BB ist halt Filler. KO/Zayn vs. Nakamura/Orton wirkt lange Zeit wie ein Houseshow Match mit sehr dummer Stipulation. Mahal dann im Main Event dank Styles mit seinem besten PPV Match (***1/2)"
[3.0] "Not going to give a full review, but basically there was way too little wrestling on this show, less than half the runtime. What wrestling there was was somewhat basic, if perfectly professional, and done to very little heat or crowd engagement. On top of that, the dual ref stip in the tag match made it a total mess, and was aggravating to watch."
[4.0] "Den Opener fand ich gut. Anfangs fehlt das Tempo, aber mit der Zeit sind das starke Konterserien auf guter Aktionsdichte & eine ziemlich gute Homestretch mit mehreren Near Falls. Das geht so durch und liefert überraschenderweise richtig ab (***¼ + MOTN). Das Tag Team Match hatte ein Paar Probleme den Fluss zu kriegen, wurde gegen Ende aber auch sehr temporeich mit besonders guter Performance von Shelton Benjamin (***). Die Damen sind teilweise echt schrecklich veranlagt, da passt rein gar nichts. Die Bludgeon Brothers im kurzen Squash, geht schon. Dann kommt das typische WWE Overbooking und der resultierende Bullshit. 3 so talentierte Wrestler wie Nakamura, Zayn & Owens drin zu haben und dann den kompletten auf 2 Referees zu lenken muss einem erst einfallen. Schreckliches Match, das sich auch noch so lange zieht (½*). Der ME ist ein physisch veranlagtes Match mit netter Intensität. AJ zeigt wieder einmal seine Weltklasse, aber ansonsten geht das auch wirklich zu lange. 6/7 Minuten weniger und man hätte ein gutes Titelmatch, so ist es ordentlich (**½). Guter Start, aber danach verliert die Show massiv an Qualität: 3. 95/10"
[5.0] "Not as bad as it could have been, but still a meh show. Opener was MOTN surprisingly, ***3/4. Tag match was fun, but too cluttered, ***1/2. Women's match was a total bore fest with a terrible after match promo, **1/2. BB vs Cops was a squash with no heat, *. Career tag match was an overbooked mess with a decent finish, ***1/4. Main event was fine but way too long, ***1/2."
[6.0] "For a December Death Zone PPV, this wasn't that bad. U. S. Title match was actually pretty damn fun, loud crowd. Outcome feels like somebody told Vince that Ziggler buried his booking on a podcast, though (***½). Tag Titles were a clusterfuck but ended up fun. Questioning the humanity of Chad Gable, what a beast (**½). Women's Title was awful (*½). Squash match was time wasting (½). ReferMania was a real mess but it was all about the intrigue of Bryan/Shane and it kinda worked. I was decently entertained (***). Styles/Mahal was great, Mahal stepped up here and delivered his best performance yet. Of course, Styles is one of - if not - the best in the world so he was great as always. Correct decision too, much more possibilities with Styles as champ heading into the Road to Mania. (****¼). Overall, not bad for what looked like a dud factory on paper. Boston crowd helped a lot, too."
[4.0] "Corbin vs Roode vs Ziggler - this was very good opening match. I enjoyed entire match with Corbin dominated by his power and Ziggler taking opportunities and Roode was pride fighter. This was unfortunately match of the night, ***3/4. 8-man tag felt pretty boring except the duo of Rusev & English and the german suplexes from Gable, **. I skip the womens and the squash match. Owens/Zayn vs Naka/Orton was exactly what I think it would be. Boring overbooking bullshit, *3/4. The main event was good match. Styles targeting Mahal's leg and he sold it well. Story of the match led to the finish. I think that Mahal could be solid midcarder. I am wondering who will be next challenger for Styles. Rating of the match: ***1/2. Not so entertaining show for me. Only first and last match were good. Rest was boring or skipable."
[7.0] "This show was so much better than I thought it was going to be. The build up was bad but the matches delivered. Ziggler Vs Corbin Vs Roode was a solid opener but I think Corbin should have retained ***1/2. Usos Vs English and Rusev Vs Gable and Benjamin Vs New Day was fun but it was a cluster at times when it was basically 2 separate matches taking place in one ring ***1/2. Flair Vs Natalya was a mess of a match. I enjoyed nothing about it DUD. Bludgeon Brothers Vs Breezango was a DUD of course but I am just glad it wasn't on the pre show that way it makes them feel more important. Owens and Zayn Vs Orton and Nakamura was pretty good. I was not looking forward to this at all but it delivered for the most part and the ending made me excited for SD on Tuesday. It did take awhile to start getting good though ***1/4. And wow was Jinder Vs Styles good. This is easily Mahal's best match ever. Styles, as always, looked simply phenomenal and him retaining was obviously the right decision ***3/4."
[8.0] "Clash of Champions was a very fun B-Show PPV. While the Womens Championship Lumberjack Match was a mess, and Bludgeon Brothers vs. Breezango was an unsatisfying squash match, the rest of the show was very fun. The US Championship Triple Threat was a great showcase of all three guys, and I didn't expect the result. The Tag Championship four way was my favorite match of the night in terms of ring work, all 4 teams did amazingly and I would have been happy with any winning. The Tag Match with dual Special Refs was what you'd expect from an overbooked McMahon match, with the feud between Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon intenfying, but we got some good action as well. The WWE Championship match was the best yet from Jinder Mahal, I was very impressed with his performance. Him and AJ have excellent chemistry together."
