[8.0] "Very good show . Most of the matches were very good to excellent . The main was great but a tad below the 2 preceding matches . That is the problem when you have so many awesome matches . Good problems to have . Heavy Tag Title match was very good but enough with these three ways already . And how many times have we seen this one match in the last few weeks ? Omega claims to be the best in the world , and he is very good , but if it is not a big match he may as well be Yano . Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. EVIL was great . KUSHIDA (c) vs. Will Ospreay was excellent as was my top match Tetsuya Naito vs. Tomohiro Ishii . A hard match to follow ."

[8.0] "New Japan continues to deliver onthe big shows even if the main even was a slight disappointment. At least we got another great Ospreay/Takahashi bout and Naito/Ishii trashing! SANADA & BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi -vs- Bad Luck Fale & Yujiro Takahashi & Leo Tonga [**], Hirooki Goto & Toru Yano -vs- Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Jr. [** 1/4], Ryusuke Taguchi & Ricochet (c) -vs- YOH & SHO – (IWGP Junior Tag Title) [*** 1/2], Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr. (c) -vs- Raymond Rowe & Hanson -vs- Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa – (IWGP Tag Title; 3-Way Tornado Elimination Match) [** 3/4], Kenny Omega & Cody & Marty Scurrl -vs- YOSHI-HASHI & Beretta & Jado [** 1/2] Omega gradually getting back his health keeping things mostly safe with ‘fun style’ wrestling rather than the killer wrestling he’s been doing with Okada this year. And this was an entertaining match trying to build for Omega’s next defense of the US Title against YOSHI-HASHI. Nothing must-see, but at least it keeps Omega in the spotlight. Kota Ibushi & Juice Robinson -vs- Hiroshi Tanahashi & Togi Makabe [** 1/4], KUSHIDA (c) -vs- Will Ospreay – (IWGP Junior Title) [**** 1/4], Tetsuya Naito -vs- Tomohiro Ishii [*** 3/4], Kazuchika Okada (c) -vs- “King of Darkness” EVIL – (IWGP Title) [***]"

[8.0] "While perhaps not as blow-away awesome as this year's WrestleKingdom or Dominion, KOPW was still a great show with strong matches throughout. Naito vs Ishii was the best of the lot, but Okada continued his incredible run this year with another good match against EVIL, the Jr. Heavyweight and the no-DQ three-way for the Tag Title were good stuff, the Jr. Heavyweight Tag Title match was a memorable re-debut for Roppongi 3K (fka the Tempura Boyz), and the other tag and six-man matches were characteristically strong as well. Post-main event, we also got a nice setup for the future as the 2018 WrestleKingdom main event was confirmed."

[8.0] "Good/Great matches overall, undercard was just like every New Japan card: Solid but not super interesting for me. 3K was good in their debut (***1/2). Tag team 3 way was decent enough (***1/4). Bullet Club vs CHAOS nobody was expecting BC to lose (***) Makabe was like Makabe (***1/4). Junior title match was great but it coud've been so much better (****1/4). Think nobody was expecting Naito to lose (none briefcase has switched) kinda hurt the match for me but it was still borderline great (****1/4). Main Event was great, wanted EVIL to win really hard but Okada is a great champion (****1/2)"

Congratulations New Japan, you've killed this division for the next little while. Match was really really good but i just don't care anymore. Juice & Ibushi / Makabe & Tanahashi: ***1/4. Good little match. Skippable. Jr. Title match: ****1/4. Terrific match. Jopefully we'll get Hiromu & Ospreay eventually. Naito/Ishii: ****1/2. Fantastic match. One of the best they've had. Main Event: ****1/4. Tremendous match. G1 Match was a little better I think but still tremendous. Great show."

[8.0] "The road to Tokyo Dome is in full throttle now. Opener was fine with a nice Daryl moment, ***1/4. CHAOS vs SZGN was fine for what it was and set up Suzuki vs Yano, ***. Roppongi 3K made a rather impressive debut, and probably Ricochet's farewell match, ***3/4. Three way tag match was decent enough and hopefully is the end of this three way feud, ***1/2. BC Kenny vs CHAOS Yoshi was comedic with purpose, ***1/4. IC title tag match was neat in building up Ibushi vs Tanahashi, ***1/2. Junior title match was great, but I had hoped for more, ****1/4. Dome contract match was my MOTN, ****1/2. Something didn't click in the main event, but still very enjoyable, ****1/4."

[9.0] "Opening tag was a fun opener ***. SG vs CHAOS was a decent match **1/2. Funky Future/Roppongi 3k was a great match to introduce R3k ***3/4. Heavy Tag was good ***1/2. CHAOS vs BC was fine ***. Tana/Makabe vs Ibushi/Juice was a fine return from break **3/4. Ospreay/KUSHIDA was fantastic. Not quite as amazing as the BOSJ finals but on the level of their previous ones ****1/2. Ishii/Naito was another fanatstic match by them and a great follow-up to the match before ****1/2. Okada/EVIL was really great. On par with their G1 match ****1/4. Overall easy watch show with fantatsic main events"

Top 3 matches delivered and especially the Jr match in my eyes and 3K made an amazing debut, really great show."
