| 1 | 17.11.2017 | marexcel | 6.0 | Der GM Stu Bennet eröffnet den letzten WCPW-PPV , verkündet die Namensänderung und ansonsten viel heiße Luft. Ein Segment, welches von seinem Ruf und nicht vom Inhalt lebt. Der Opener weiß zu gefallen und so starten Starr und Bailey hier ihre kleine Serie. Chemie ist gut, insgesamt aber Luft nach oben. Gilt neben ein paar brauchbaren Spots auch für das Four Way Match um den Hardcore Title. Moss und Slater haben zwar eine ganz nette Story, aber liefern ein lahmes Match ab. Klassische dümmliche Heels vs. Underdog Faces-Geschichte im Tag-Match. Action ist akzeptabel. Der WCPW-Terminkalender ist im 2. Halbjahr ziemlich undankbar und so treffen auch die Damen hier ohne echten Aufbau aufeinander. Bea wirkt aber schon verbessert und auch Kay Lee Ray kann es natürlich. Veda Scott meldet sich auch nochmal zu Wort und ist scheinbar ein Teil der Women’s Division. Aus Entertainment-Sicht sicherlich eine gute Wahl. Scurll zieht Ligero zu einem erträglichen Match. Gracie und Kirby können sich aber nicht ziehen, letztendlich wird unnötigerweise nur eine Hose ausgezogen. Trash in Gänze. Man hat wieder in den USA eingekauft, aber leider kann der Ever Green Bucks/War Machine nur eine Gangart und so kommt einem das Match halt bekannt vor, auch wenn die Bucks ihren Koffer verbaselt haben. Typische Action, die Spaß macht. Die Regie beim Finish jedoch nicht so. Mit Primate und Havoc stellen sich zwei (sehr) ordentliche UK-Worker in die Reihe hinter War Machine. Gut so. Im Main Event rettet Will mal wieder ein Match und zieht Hendry zu einem ordentlichen Championship-Match. Scurll macht den Seth und liefert hintenraus noch eine schöne Sequenz im Match. Guter Abschluss eines ordentlichen Events, wieder müssen es die Weltstars retten. |

Jay Lethal & Ava Storie -vs- Drake & Little Miss Roxxy [* 1/2] A little pre-show mixed action with ROH’s Lethal as the man attraction. Not much except Lethal questioning beating a woman…. so he beat Drake instead. Mike Bailey -vs- David Starr [** 1/4] Applause to Starr for his efforts. Primate (c) -vs- Bad Bones -vs- BT Gunn -vs- Jimmy Havoc – (WCPW Hardcore Title; 4-Way) [**], Liam Slater -vs- Johnny Moss [* 1/4], Joe Coffey & Travis Banks -vs- Ashley Dunn & Kelly Sixx [* 1/2], Kay Lee Ray (c) -vs- Bea Priestley – (WCPW Women’s Title) [* 1/2], Marty Scurll -vs- El Ligero – (Magnificent 7 Briefcase Match) [** 1/4] Scurll is the surprise opponent for Ligero and we have a fairly hot match. Nothing revolutionary, but the fans were into it. Martin Kirby -vs- Alex Gracie – (Kiss My Arse Match) [* 3/4], Hanson & Ray Rowe (c) -vs- Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson – (WCPW Tag Title) [** 1/2] All about WWE warning The Jacksons about the use of the ‘Too Sweet’ sign. Felt like it was more important to mock the news than have a killer match with the War Machine. Fun match of course. Just not a MOTYC one dream of. Joe Hendry (c) -vs- Will Ospreay (-vs- Marty Scurll) – (WCPW Title) [** 3/4] The Hendry/Ospreay match was alright, but I wasn’t feeling it as a massive match. Then 23 minutes in Marty Scurll cashed in his newly won Magnificent 7 Briefcase to join the match it got hotter, but also more chaotic. |

| 4 | 06.10.2017 | Ablissfan603 | 6.0 | The bottom of the card was abit weak, the Mike Bailey David Starr match was nice aswells as the Kay Lee Ray Bea Priestley, and Marty Scurll El ligero match but together it was just a bit weak. I feel like Slater and Moss could have done more and the prestige versus SCC did not feel main event worthy, and the Kiss My Arse match was also just a bit boring. The final two matches though were really good after watching the tag match I thought it would for sure be match of the night but World title match was just as good. Overall it was a solid entertaining pay per view which WCPW needed. Ranking the matches from least to favorite Hardcore title (DNW), The Prestige v SCC, Kiss My Arse, Mixed Tag, Liam Slater v Johny Moss, Women's Title, Magnificent 7, Mike Bailey v David Starr, Tag Title, WCPW title. |
