[6.0] "With no squash matches at all, today's RAW features just two--but relatively decent--matches, with the tag team match in particular being a solid contest. Both bouts touch a bit on the Mania feuds between Razor and HBK, and Bret and Owen. That pretty much fills up this episode, as there's hardly any room left for more. A title defense by Yokozuna against the Macho Man is scheduled for the coming week and hyped up by Cornette, and there's also a brief Wrestlemania report, noting that Alundra Blyaze's opponent (later Leilani Kei) hasn't been finalized yet, as well as the cancellation of the original plans for Earthquake vs. Borga, with Adam Bomb set to replace Borga. A thoroughly watchable episode, especially for 1994."

[8.0] "This show wasn't revolutionary by any means but it was very good. The first match of 123/razor vs the qb'ers was seriously a great match that was ended (predictably) by an HBK run in. I'm not sure why 123 replaced janetty here, I'm assuming injury? but it doesn't matter because it works. I don't mind the non finish here because we're leading up to WM10 and in my opinion, there shouldn't really be any decisive finishes at this point; it should be more about rivalries and building up for the PPV. This did a great job of it, especially with Diesel looking on for the 2nd half of the match. Also, I think Vince did a great job of managing the two commercial breaks here as they happened mostly while the action was slow. The Bret Hart match that followed it was also very good. He doesn't always put on 5 star matches but his matches are almost always a work of art and rarely boring. They upped the non-boring factor with this match by having savage kick cornette's ass as cornette was about to interfere. Which reminds me, it's nice to hear savage on the mic again. He's so much better than the last few replacements they've had on Raw. Anyway, Owen also comes in eventually to "help" Bret back in the ring (to get pinned), which backfires as Bret eventually wins with sharpshooter, and that's followed up by a standoff between Bret and Owen with hepner getting in the way. Show ends with a fairly long, but good, promo for WM10. There are some very good matches planned, and some weird ones, but that's wrestlemania for you. At least they're building it up properly by developing real feuds and things that make sense. My only issue is that the Hall/HBK match was not announced on last week's raw, but during the opening match, Vince mentions that not only will they fight for each other's IC belt but it will be a ladder match. I'd have liked to see a promo or some drama surrounding that. I think this episode would have been better off by shortening the two matches by 2 mins a piece and doing a quick 4 minute promo between hbk and hall explaining how we got here and explaining why there's a ladder involved. Other than that, this is one of the better episodes in a very long time."

[5.0] "Pretty average episode, the two matches on this show were both kind of solid. Todd Pettengill told us what matches are taking place at WrestleMania X. They hyped up Yokozuna's title defense against Randy Savage that happens on the next episode of RAW."

[6.0] "This was a unique RAW for the period. It was quite uncommon for RAW to have such a heavy emphasis on in-ring action - the majority of this show was comprised solely of two fairly lengthy matches, with none of the usual squash matches and very little in the way of segments (just Pettengil hyping WrestleMania and some very brief segments with Macho Man). Nice to see them experiment with something different for RAW."

[8.0] "This RAW episode only featured two matches, none of them being squashes. This is extremely rare in this time period and ended up being a good idea as the episode was the best in some time. Both the matches were good and worth watching. We also got matches announced for WrestleMania X, and a segment between Yokozuna and Randy Savage to promote their WWF title match."

[7.0] "Although there were only 2 televised matches in this episode. There was substance in both of the matches, which is a huge improvement from some prior episodes filled with several 5 minute or less squash matches."

[8.0] "Great RAW all around, definitely the best one in quite a while. The tag title match to open was really good, non-finish aside, and I'm pleasantly surprised Kid got back in the ring this soon after the ankle injury in January. Bret/Tom was an odd, albeit fun little technical affair. Awesome segment between Macho and Yoko to heat up their match next week to end the show. And a few more WM matches were announced."

[7.0] "Unquestionably the best Raw episode for a couple of weeks. It features only two matches but Quebecers vs Razor and Kid is very good and Hart vs Doctor Tom is simply good. Storyline development is also pretty alright comparing to other shows."
