[4.0] "Poor undercard, but Taka Michinoku saves the day! Hi69 & Yasu Urano -vs- Daigoro Kashiwa & MIYAWAKI [*] A reunion of Taka students for a quick fix. Never been a fan of any of these so not too thrilled. Io Shirai & HZK -vs- Bambi & ERINA [* 1/2] The K-Dojo girls just wasn’t keeping up with the Stardom girls and was beaten to shame in a short tag. Ricky Fuji & Kotaro Yoshino & Dinosaur Takuma -vs- Great Sasuke & Super Delfin & Dick Togo [* 1/4] Legends and goofs in clowning bout. Weird fun, but not what I want to see guys like Sasuke, Delfin or the all-mighty Dick in. Kaji Tomato & Taishi Takizawa & Shiori Asahi & Yuma -vs- Tank Nagai & Kunio Toshima & Ayumu Honda & Kyu Mogami [* 3/4] Colorful match, but not necessary great wrestling. Too much clowning around again. Minoru Suzuki -vs- GO Asakawa [**] Finally someone who treats these pathetic K-Dojo wrestlers the way they deserve. Suzuki special! Pure bastardism! Kazuchika Okada & Gedo -vs- Taka Michinoku & Kota Ibushi – (Taka Michinoku 25th Anniversary Match) [*** 1/4] The fans were fed a lot of crap on this show, but the only match that mattered, Taka’s celebration, delivered! A super fun match where Taka was overachieving against the IWGP Champion and really taking the Korakuen Hall by storm! And he got good help from Ibushi coming with the fierce attacks when Taka needed a break. But wouldn’t you known it, as Taka was close to getting a upset of a lifetime… he himself was upset by Gedo no less!"
[6.0] "Just cherry picking what i want to see. Bambi & ERINA /HZK & Io Shirai: ***1/4. Io Shirai is absolutely phenomenal. Match was fun, not too long. Dino Stones & Ricky Fuji /Dick Togo, Super Delfin & The Great Sasuke: **. This was too silly. Just a match. Main Event: ****. Just great. Taka was great, as was Okada and Ibushi. Pretty fun. Match also had great heat. Good show."
[4.0] "One’s 25th anniversary in their field is a super cool accomplishment and deserves to be celebrated, don’t get me wrong – but if some shithead agitator ran up during the toast screaming about how arbitrary that number is, and how you should have just waited five years to hit a round pair of digits, just how wrong would they be? Unfortunately, ‘arbitrary’ would be an apt descriptor for this show, feeling pretty run-of-the-mill across both performance and spectacle standpoints despite featuring an interesting mix of participating talent. Opener was dead on arrival, Io looked crisper/worked harder than just about anyone on this entire show to make her tag one of the better matches on the card, as neat an idea as it was to give Dino Stones the spotlight (bad timing as they looked REAL green here =\) Sasuke, Togo and Delfin were wasted in their designated positions, Magatsuki + Rays of Sunshine are both really cool stables and make me sad that I don’t catch more K-Dojo, Suzuki/Asakawa worked the exact type of match you’d expect from that pairing (would have been interesting if Suzuki had gotten the submission during one of the intense holds they worked within the first minute) and the main event was the best thing here, with nice tension being built between Taka, Okada and Gedo, culminating in a fitting (if slightly predictable) finish - it was however definitely odd as to how much of an absolute non-factor Ibushi was. Here's to xx more years of eye pokes and "Axe Bomber! "?"
