[5.0] "The last Raw of 1993 was average... Not bad not good. Fun match of Johnny Polo (Raven) vs Marty Jannetty, some local squashes and fun promo from Undertaker. 5/10 is good for that"

[5.0] "Not a bad show. One of the better Raw matches in a while with Janetty/polo. But outside of this, no reason to watch in fact this is probably skippable if you are picky. They showed the same yokozuna/santa vignette as last week for some reason. Luger match was ok. Janetty/Polo match was actually really good. I don't understand the low ratings on it vs what the comments are actually saying. Weird stuff going on but whatever, that match was very fun! Polo isn't that great of a wrestler. He whiffs on taking bumps well and his timing is a little off, but the energy and athleticism is there and they both worked together nicely. Also I love the post match stuff. Raw has quickly trained me now to believe that this rivalry/feud will not just disappear into thin air and it will actually be followed up on in future episodes or the PPV. The doink match is a complete waste of time and doink almost breaks spike gray's neck with the one move that happens. I'm sure if you ask spike if that match was worth it, he'd probably say "what? there was a match? " They do a good job promoting the rumble. I think it's funny that they're asking people to call their cable provider to order it, 3 weeks in advance, lol. Can't imagine even thinking of doing that now, but back in the day, we had to do that over the phone so I guess it makes sense to do it to ensure you get through to an operator. So funny. But looking at the lineup of rumble participants, it's already looking like 500% better than 93's. I'm hoping that they do intro music for everyone like they did with the battle royale they did about 6-7 months ago. During the rumble promo, there's a short vid that shows Bret and Owen back together, having resolved their differences. I'm sure this will end well lol. Crush match was boring as well as the Razor match. I wish there was some kind of plot advancement on their stories but nothing really. Overall this is just a "meh" raw."

[4.0] "Not bad. Not good. Just there. Much like all the other RAW episodes during that month of December 1993. The featured match between Johnny Polo and Marty Jannetty delivered, but not all the squash matches were effective. Lex Luger sold way too long against Barry Horowitz of all people (no disrespect at all, but come on...) and Doink the Clown's squash match was simply stupid. Razor Ramon had an entertaining squash as always, and Crush looked effective as well."

[4.0] "Slightly underwhelming episode of RAW. I enjoyed Polo vs Jannetty and most of the squashes weren't bad (Luger vs Horowitz being the exception - I like Lex but that one just didn't really work for me), but it just felt very uneventful. Still, it was an easy enough watch for some casual wrestling action."

[6.0] "Solid RAW. Luger/Horowitz was a fun semi-squash, I'm a fan of Barry so I'm glad he had a chance to show something here, even if it's only for a few minutes. Marty/Polo was honestly very entertaining for what it was, and Polo did the whole loudmouth manager that can take it in the ring and shut up the crowd fantastically. Doink's squash was cringe, but Crush and especially Ramon had good performances here. Also, the Quebecers were a real joy to listen to on commentary."

[5.0] "A decent Raw, with a pretty good match between Jannetty and Polo and a Luger-Horowitz match that was way more even than it should have been. Jacques wasn't bad as the guest color commentator either."
