[4.0] "Ultimo Dragon’s 30th Anniversary Lucha Fiesta wasn’t he party is should have been. A couple of good matches, but nothing blow-away. Koji Iwamoto -vs- Yusuke Okada [*], Minoru Tanaka & Atsushi Maruyama -vs- Masanobu Fuchi & Otokosakari [1/4*], Saori Anou & Natsumi Maki -vs- Kyusei & Busu Mongol [3/4*], 13-Man Dragon Scramble Battle Royal [* 1/2] Japanese Rumble-style Battle Royal which was quick and to-the-point wasting no time. Perhaps a little too quick to really get the excitement in. KAI & Naoya Nomura -vs- Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi [**] Some of All Japan’s most promising, including their current generation ace Miyahara for a solid house show tag. Solid effort keeping things competitive without going overboard or creating anything must-see. Nomura and his Maximum drop continues to be the most devastating move in the promotion, being a vital part in Nomura & Lee winning the tag belts and, now here, as Nomura took care of Aoyagi. Ultimo Dragon & Jun Akiyama & Caristico -vs- Joe Doering & El Diamate & Sam Adonis – (2/3 Falls) [** 1/4] This could just have been a singles match for all the focus was on Ultimo Dragon and Sam Adonis. All the deciding moments was about those two. Adonis winning first, then he was caught pulling off Dragon’s mask for the DQ in the second before Dragon got his revenge in the final fall. Okay story, but I didn’t feel the match was set on fire by their efforts. But as a happy celebration of Ultimo Dragon’s Mexican influences it was a fine tribute."
