[9.0] "The Main Event of this show, match for the World of Stardom Championship between Mayu Iwatani (c) and Kagetsu is the best match in Stardom's history. In the wake of this match happening again under these exact circumstances (they had matches after that, but now it's Iwatani defending the Red Belt against Kagetsu again) - it was a good time to go back and rewatch this show. It was interesting to compare Stardom of today and Stardom of August'17. At the time Iwatani needed a killer match after very average first title defense against Yoko Bito, especially because Io Shirai's temporary return to solidify herself as the top star, and Kagetsu needed a killer match to provide even more momentum for Oedo Tai, and her make comeback to pro-wrestling after a hiatus mean something (she considered retirement at the time). Now, that Stardom's ceiling has been risen after Bushiroad acquisition, Mayu has an actual room for growth again, and can be the champion/ace, and for Kagetsu, after her great run as the Oedo Tai leader and the Red Belt champion, it feels like an end of a chapter because the future is uncertain, but very intriguing. As for the whole show - the classic 'throw everyone in the card' match is in there too, but it was obvious that Jungle Kyona, Hazuki (oh), Hana Kimura, Konami, Starlight Kid, AZM and Natsuko Tora will be more important in the future than they were then. I don't really miss these touring gaijins in title matches, every though they created chances for so many women wrestlers who now wrestle in WWE and very an important part of these shows since the very beginning of the promotion. Tam Nakano had her first Stardom match, and it's incredible how much she improved from that time. Overall, it's amazing how much Stardom changed, grew and evolved from that show. I'm very excited for the upcoming December Korakuen Hall show and the Bushiroad era in general."

"Posting to comment on the Kagetsu v. Mayu match and request that it become a recommended match. That match was amazing. Mayu tumbling down the stairs will forever be one of my favorite moments in wrestling. This is the best execution of the babyface overcoming overwhelming odds that I've ever seen. They took it to a new level, but not to such an extent that Mayu couldn't still plausibly win. Perfectly told story, and a very well wrestled match. Only quibble is that there are slightly too many nearfalls in it, but that doesn't stop it from being a legendary match. Overall match: 98/100. Overall event: unrated."

[8.0] "Only rating based on the Artist of Stardom and World of Stardom title matches, and both were awesome. Had a ton of fun with both matches, Mayu vs. Kagetsu especially. That was crazy good."

[7.0] "A great main event, kagetsu vs Mayu was a great match. The match for the Artist of Stardom was good too, the return in ring of Io was a feel good moment, all workers make the job. The High speed match was too speed, but for a 8 min match, that's was good. The four way tag team make the job. Other match wasn't very good, specially i think the SWA Title, because Xia Brookside is too green for now. Globally a good show."
