[4.0] "Solid Osaka show without any massive wrestling to make it memorable. Naoya Nomura & Yuma Aoyagi -vs- Koji Iwamoto & Fuminori Abe [**] A solid young man’s tag. Not a very spectacular match, but they make it interesting by their work ethic. Nomura along with Aoyagi are growing in self-confidence. KAI & Yohei Nakajima -vs- Kotaro Nasu & Katsumi Oribe [3/4*], Minoru Tanaka & Ultimate Spider Jr. & Takoyakida -vs- Ultimo Dragon & Atsushi Maruyama & Yusuke Okada [* 1/2], Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori -vs- Atsushi Aoki & Massimo [* 1/4], Hikaru Sato (c) -vs- Tajiri – (AJPW Junior Title) [**] Crazy old Tajiri in All Japan challenging for their Junior Heavyweight belt. Can’t say I’m too excited. Tajiri is well past his prime and is looking freakish in his older days. He also hasn’t changed-up his act in a decade or two, so it’s not the most motivated wrestling he brings, which was clear here against Sato. But All Japan is on a nostalgia trip for their 45th Anniversary and make him the champ with Ultimo Dragon as the past generation challenger for the big show. Shuji Ishikawa & Joe Doering & The Bodyguard -vs- Suwama & Kento Miyahara & Zeus [** 1/4] Ishikawa trading wins with Miyahara after Miyahara beat him in a tag two days earlier. Here it was Ishikawa’s turn to trash his Sumo Hall challenger beating him with the Splash Mountain. Solid tag without up’ing the level. More interesting what happened after the match. Doering and Suwama “broke-up” and are set to fight."
