[4.0] "This was another acceptable installment of Saturday Night, but nothing that'll set your world on fire. The Best Of Three Series came to a somewhat disappointing conclusion, but was still at least decent. The rest of the matches don't stand out all that much, but I did get some enjoyment out of Steamboat vs. The Equalizer. The Lumberjack match was weird (I don't even know what prompted that stipulation? ) and not very good, plus I have no clue why they're bothering to push Charlie Norris, who seems to have nothing going for him whatsoever. On the plus side I have to hand it to them for the creativity in the way they followed up The Shockmaster's disastrous debut. I actually think it was a really clever idea to try and make him into a lovable 'everyman' type of character while aiming to turn his oafishness into an endearing character trait. Honestly, I think it's something that could have gotten over really well in the modern era as I think the fans today would have a bit more sympathy for the Shockmaster debacle these days, plus people seem to embrace these more 'tongue in cheek' type of gimmicks a bit more now as well. It was probably the best way they possibly could have tried to salvage things, so props to them for that."
