[5.0] "Not the best episode. This Cueto Cup is almost unwatchable. I just don't like tournaments much. Hope this can go by quickly, as it seems destined to fail."

[4.0] "Another poor episode for the 1st round matches of the cup. Opener was a squash with one decent comeback from Vinny, ***1/4. Marty and Saltador felt like it went on forever, ***. Pindar and Mascarita just had a nothing match, **1/2. Main event too was pretty meh, ***1/2."

[4.0] "Weak stretch. He did not convince me. The worst match I ever saw was, but each one was a little better. The Main Event was the best of course, but the match between Mascarita and Pindar is also possible. Still, the most interesting part of this episode was the situation between Mellisa, Marty, who in his own way embodies his role and is simply brilliant and Fenix. As always, they saved good, climate segments. This can be avoided, but watching will not hurt, especially the last two fights and Mariposa's segment with Marty."

[7.0] "Most of the matches were good, none of them truly great but solid performances through most of the night. The best was Fenix/Mariposa, and of course you've got the added bonus of some great story stuff via backstage vignettes. Fenix/Marty could have real legs as a story, I'm looking forward to that!"

[7.0] "I like how Lucha Underground sometimes goes nuts with the storylines. Not only they've got the Marty-Melissa stalker weirdo stuff, now they-ve added the incest thing with Mariposa to make things even more crazy. A lot of people may not like it, I love the idea. Taking risks is part of the business and Lucha Underground does that better than anyone."
