The first two matches are *fine* but the results are stupid looking back. The best match is triple H in his late 40s with Stephanie who has wrestled like 11 matches in her career vs angle in his late 40s and ronda in her first match ever. That should tell you everything. Everything else is boring or lame and the main event is one of the worst main events in wrestling history."

[6.0] "This event was such a huge disappointment. The match card is actually pretty good, and the event looked really exciting on paper. In fact, the first half of the show is actually good as the Intercontinental and SmackDown Women's Title matches are very good. The Mixed tag team match was very fun to watch too, and I was excited for the second half of the show, Turns out, all the good stuff had already happened, and it was time for the event to get worse. Undertaker's return was exciting, but the match itself was just a squash, which was a disappointment. Another disappointment was the dream match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura which failed to meet the expectations. Braun Strowman winning the belts with a child is one of the worst wrestling moments you'll ever see. Daniel Bryan's in-ring return was a positive though, and was a very good moment. The main event between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is a complete disaster, and one of the worst WrestleMania main events ever, and left a sour taste in everyone's mouths. It's unfortunate that this event will be remembered for all the wrong reasons, as the card had a lot of potential, but the execution however sucked."

[3.0] "A desperately poor show that I remember having high hopes for going in. Undertaker/Cena being a squash was so tedious and just typical of WWE in these years. Braun Strowman picking a child plant out of the crowd was another huge letdown and made The Bar look like a complete joke after a pitiful match. I remember thinking at the time they'd crown both Nakamura and Asuka on this show, both lost, at least the Asuka match was very good, Nakamura/Styles was a huge disappointment and fell really flat. There are several other matches varying between crap and a bit boring, with only the opener, the previously mentioned and the HHH/Stephanie vs Kurt/Rhonda match delivering, the latter being a huge surprise in terms of how good it was. Proper kick in the nuts wrestling all night long capped off by a very boring main event. Wouldn't recommend this show to anyone, just not enough good stuff to outweigh the bad on what was an incredibly long show."

[3.0] "Not gonna say it's the worst Wrestlemania of the 21st century, but it feels damn close. Jinder Mahal pins Rusev at the peak of the Rusev Day movement. The Undertaker vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania is reduced to a couple of angles and a squash match. A little boy pins Claudio fucking Castagnoli to win the Raw Tag Titles. AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura is humstrung by being forced to wrestle a WWE-style match and also was the start of an entire storyline centered around those two guys kicking each other in the dick. Asuka's NINE HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN day undefeated streak was snapped by Charlotte (of course) in an admittedly great match before she could even win a main roster title, and to add insult to injury, she tapped. Lesnar and Roman have match number 29 of their 743-match series, and if Wrestlemania 27 had never happened would be the worst Wrestlemania main event of all time (and yes that includes LT vs. Bam Bam) (that match is actually not that bad). There are a few positives: The opener, which considering the competitors involved was always going to have a rather high floor; Ronda Rousey teaming with Kurt Angle in her first wrestling match was an interesting novelty and the match itself actually turned out really good; Daniel Bryan finally making his full-time comback, and while the match itself was horrendously laid out it was the most exciting moment of the night (at least for me). There were a couple other matches that are really not worth mentioning at all. Just... ugh. No point in watching this, really, unless you're going through all the milestones of the careers of Daniel Bryan and Ronda Rousey."

[3.0] "It's just a weird disaster of a Mania. It starts off really well with a really thrilling triple threat between Seth, Balor, and Miz. It was fast-paced and exciting and the perfect opener for this show. After that, we get an absolute belter between Asuka and Charlotte. The decision to end the streak is questionable, but the match was brilliant. The highlights of this show are capped off by a super fun mixed tag between Kurt and Ronda vs Trips and Steph. Rousey looked like a million bucks, and the match was super fun with twists and turns, and the crowd was into all of it. Then, the show falls off a cliff. Mahal winning the US championship was groanworthy, the Usos, New Day, and Bludgeon Brothers getting five minutes was disheartening, and making the fans sit through a dull tag match with Shane vs KO and Zayn before getting to see Bryan killed the crowd. Taker and Cena was utterly ridiculous and quite dumb fun even if it kills the point of Wrestlemania 33. Nia/Alexa should've been a squash match, Styles/Nakamura was an ultimate letdown, and Braun and a child mopped up the tag champs cuz why not. The main event was a farce with Lesnar and Reigns spamming finishers to a bored crowd who are entertaining themselves the whole time. This show is a trainwreck, but I'll be damned if it isn't an entertaining trainwreck."

End of Asuka's streak, disappointing Bryan's return match material, CRIMINALLY underwhelming execution of Styles vs. Nakamura, using Taker for a squash match on JOHN FREAKING CENA, giving a tag title to a 10 year-old boy, utterly garbage by Brock vs. Roman part 987...solid first part isn't enough to remember this Mania positively."

Overall WWE WrestleMania 34 (2018) is a pretty decent yet uneven Mania that started hot it couldn't hold that momentum til the very end."

US title, toilet break. Mixed tag was super fun. Smackdown tag, another toilet break. Taker Cena should have been a toilet break but we insist in getting fooled. Super weird booking, terrible. Bryan tag, alright. Happy to see the goat back. Nia Bliss did what it needed to do. Aj Shin, very disappointing. Hope Nichols is somewhere training now. Brock retained, thank god."

[3.0] "So the IC triple threat was great, the mixed tag was great and the Sd women's championship match were great but WWE choose to focus on Cena more then asuka's streak. And then we had the US title slop, the SD tag titles slop, taker vs Cena being the most disappointing fight of the night, Daniel Bryan coming out of retirement for a medicore match affair, nia jax vs Alexa going match longer. Aj styles vs Nakamura having anti climatic ending because WWE wanted to, not realising they are sacrificing this match to hell. The raw tag titles officially dying. And the main event being terrible. Had this been 1995, WWE would have been closed at the very moment this show ended because this level of bad booking would have killed a prime WCW in 1996. It's madding how terrible WWE booked this matches for what? To insult your audience, or to be salty that your fanfiction isn't loved by people. Thank God vince is gone"

[5.0] "There were good parts to this show, but there were a lot of bad parts. They spent months building to lots of surefire outcomes, and then abandoned all of them. Shinsuke Nakamura should've beat AJ Styles. Asuka should've beat Charlotte. New Day and Usos should've gotten a tag match against each other without the Bludgeon Brothers being shoved in unnecessarily. And finally, Roman should've beat Brock. Having Brock hold that title hostage did nothing but harm the product. MVP was a hard one to pick for this show, a lot of matches either sucked or didn't live up to the hype or had the wrong winner, which tarnishes a lot of MVP cases. If I had to pick one, I'd say Ronda Rousey for having a great debut."

"Absolutely horrendous. On the Pre-Show, the Andre Battle Royal was soldified as a joke by having Matt Hardy win and form a dumb team with Bray. Alexander vs Ali was okay, I'm glad it wasn't on the main show though. The women's battle royal was crap too, just a clusterfuck where Naomi wins at the end - WWE sure like giving Naomi little wins that mean nothing whilst never pulling the trigger on her. On the main show, Rollins/Balor/Miz was decent but considering all of these men are former world champs, the IC title is kind of a step down, especially as a show opener. Flair vs Asuka was a good match with an awful ending that made Asuka look like a bitch. The US title match was awful, such a waste of Orton, especially when they had Jobber Mahal win. The mixed tag was good, but went on too long because it's a Triple H match. Tag title match between two jabroni teams sucked, I guess there's a reason Vince kept the tag titles off Mania for a long period. Cena vs Taker, elderly man who can't wrestle squashes slightly less elderly man who can still wrestle - sad waste of time. The KO/Sami tag was a good match, but with a dumb storyline where they got kayfabe fired and then come back anyway. Jax vs Bliss was terrible, you can't do a bully storyline when the bully is 5ft and the victim is a foot taller and almost 100kg heavier. The crowd being dead silent the whole match is proof of this. Surely Bliss vs James would have been the better option? Styles vs Nakamura, two workrate guys who shouldn't be in WWE and put on an underwhelming match that should have been for the IC instead of the Miz match. Braun and a child beat up Cesaro and Sheamus, how far both men have fallen. Makes the tag division look like a joke and buries Sheamus even though he has accomplished more than Braun could ever dream of in his career. Lesnar vs Reigns 2, a match no one wanted - crowd chanted this is awful throughout. Just absolute crap. Overall a terrible show and easily the worst Wrestlemania as it has not a single match worth watching on it and goes on for over 5 fucking hours."

The openers were good, the us title match was such a crap, the mixed tag team match was too good for me, because I just love ronda rousey. The smackdown tag title match was boring, the taker and cena match was not even wanted when we didnt get it in wrestlemania 27. Next 4 matches were meh to good, shinsuke vs styles was a decent match but had a pretty bad aftermatch considering the storyline which got faded eventually. The Nicholas thing was quite fun. The main event was a total disappointer. Overall, an okayish or a decent mania in my opinion."

Why Vince thought Roman Reigns kicking out of so many F5s and losing anyway was a good idea is beyond me. There was a bunch of things they could have done with the main event and this was not it. However, the 2 opening matches are amazing, the AJ/Shinsuke match is underrated and to see the return of Daniel Bryan in a fun match was great. Solid show for the most part."

And thats the reason it doesnt have a higher rating from me, because of its stumbles. But this Mania had plenty of good things on it too. I dont think it deserves the hate it receives."

[4.0] "This was around when WWE started to have the attitude of "we don't need to make stars or interesting matches, you're here for the brand name". Case and point, Cena vs. Undertaker in Taker's first match wasn't announced until midway through the show and even then you weren't sure it was going to happen (yes I know they teased it but they never formally announced it). That should've been a huge driver for this show and instead they were like "nah, you're here for WrestleMania, not for wrestling". You know this show is a problem when Stephanie McMahon has the clear match of the night. By the end a child won a championship and nobody gave a you-know-what about the main event. Truly the darkest period in my 10 years of being a wrestling fan."

[8.0] "Very good Mania for me but not great due to a couple of major missteps, mainly towards the end. Understandably a show that will divide opinion when they did things like Asuka's streak ending and using a small child as Braun's partner. The set, presentation and entrances for this show may have been the best ever. Finn Balor, Undertaker, Bryan, Braun, Shinsuke. CHARLOTTE with her entrance referring back to her XXX entrance backing up Triple H. Some of the best ever. This was a show heavy on big moments but perhaps not so heavy on great matches. That said, there were a couple: the Rousey mixed tag which was somehow absolutely outstanding (****1/4) and Charlotte/Asuka which may have been the best women's match in Wrestlemania history (****). Bryan's return match was one filled with pure joy and I loved it. I liked the IC title and Shinsuke/AJ a good amount but not that much. Brock/Reigns wasn't what I was hoping. They laid it out in an odd way. But my God that image of the blood pouring out of Reigns was incredible and Brock's win felt eerily similar to the end of the streak in the same building four years earlier. 9/10 show."

[3.0] "Never has a WrestleMania booking felt so weird and off-kilter. Asuka losing her streak to Charlotte is one thing, but Nakamura losing later in the night? Either you're burying the Royal Rumble there, or Vince went back to the ol' racism well thinking that Japanese talent couldn't get over (despite it being painfully obvious that, well, they were over). They also pissed away a literal dream match in a squash because they thought Taker couldn't wrestle a long match any more, just for him to go over to Saudi Arabia and have 30 minute matches every six months. Either Taker should've stayed retired after Mania 33, or they could've given us a decent Cena vs. Taker match. And then there's the main event, which just ended weirdly and with no heat. An event the stature of WrestleMania deserves better."

Jinder Mahal pinned Rusev. AJ vs Shinsuke being so mid still hurts. A child won the tag titles. Brock and Roman delivered an all time terrible match. Daniel Bryan sits out for most of his return match for SHANE MCMAHON. Need I say more?"

Starts off great with a fast paced triple Threat for the IC belt, ROllins, Balor and Miz all delivered a strong performance (8/10) Asuka/Flair was really great wrestling-wise ASuka winning would've put it over the top but still one of the better bouts as is (8/10) The US title match is an average multiman but with the worst choice for a winner out of the four (5/10) Mixed tag is super fun, Trips and Stephanie were great at playing heels, Kurt was good whenever he showed up and Rousey looked killer in her debut, MOTN for me (8/10) Smackdown tag match was as good as it could be with only 5 minutes, but much too short to be more than passable (5/10) Taker/Cena and the whole segment sorrounding it was a waste of time, Taker didn't look good no matter what commentary was trying to say. Could've been worse though (3/10) Smackdown GMS VS Owens/Zayn was a fun tag match. Dragged a bit when they were working over Shane but really picked up once Bryan comes back in (7/10) Jax/Bliss is not bad but not particularly entertaining either (5/10) AJ/Shinsuke was super dissapointing as it came at a bad spot in a super long card and never quite hit second gear, still was pretty decent since its still Styles VS Nakamura (6/10) then A child wins the tag team titles in probably the moment I hated the mostout of the Mania's I watched live on PPV The Bar deserved better (0/10) and in the Main Event Lesnar/Reigns had a slog of a match with finisher spamming that was doomed from the get go since no one cared about it, (2/10)"

[4.0] "In a vacuum, the Raw Women's title match and main event are the only really bad matches here, but this was a task to sit through. Starts off good with a real solid opener followed by the MOTN in Asuka/Flair... where Asuka loses, and then puts over Charlotte extra hard, and their moment gets interrupted by John Cena. Huh? The US title match is throwaway, remembered mainly for the weird call of having Jinder win a belt he would lose days later rather than reward a very over Rusev. The mixed tag is fun, I found it dragged pretty badly by the end but it was booked/worked to be as good as it could get. It sucks to see the Smackdown tags get little time - Harper and Rowan, The New Day, and The Usos sounds great in the right circumstances - and it's an example of how much they already needed to split 'Mania into two days by this point. 34 and 35 particularly suffer from everyone being jammed together and loads of short matches. The Undertaker/Cena stuff is weird, not *bad* but maybe they just shouldn't have bothered if this bizarre build and eventual squash is all they could get out of the dream match. Bryan's return is obviously nice but thank you to the genius who decided it would almost be more about Shane than him, inoffensive match but perplexing booking. Bliss/Jax is unsurprisingly not good. Styles/Nakamura is alright, which isn't ideal. Picks up right at the end and Shinsuke gets his cool entrance and memorable heel turn. Strowman and a child dethroning The Bar is dumb and an indictment of how WWE views tag team wrestling but also kind of cute, it is what it is. The main event leaves a bad taste in your mouth to end things, just a boring finisher spam and it was part of a terrible chapter of their feud. Pushing a guy so hard despite the hostile crowd reactions but still being hesitant enough to go for the swerve here? Nobody wins. Yeah, not a great show, only 3 matches reached pretty good levels for me and the rest was serviceable at best, a bore at worst."

The Cena/Taker stuff was fun enough, Ronda's debut was very good, AJ/Nakamura was decent but long and never really got going, Bryan's return was a cool moment but ruined by Shane and the main event was one of the worst in Mania history. The rest was either fine, uneventful or just weird. I guess a child winning a title was cute. I guess. Idk."

Charlotte and Asuka had a great match, but the way Asuka's streak ended, and the horrendous booking she suffered after this, stings a lot to this day. The four way wasn't a bad match but why the hell did Jinder Mahal of all people win' At WrestleMania' If Jeff returning and immediately winning the belt was the plan all along, then fine, but Bobby Roode or even Rusev could have served the same purpose. The mixed tag was a lot of fun, and it helped hide the limitations of everybody involved. Ronda looked like an absolute star. One of the best debuts ever in my opinion. The tag title match was fine, and put over the Bludgeon Bros very strongly. John Cena gettin squashed by Taker after calling him out for ages was laughably bad. As Taker later stated, he got into incredible shape (for his standard at that point in his life) to have a great match with Cena, but didn't really get to show it. Bryan's return match wasn't bad but Bryan getting taken out at the start deflated the crowd a lot, and also exposed how poor Shane's selling is. Jax and Bliss had a decent David VS Goliath match, and they told a good story. Styles/Nakamura wasn't bad but definitely was underwhelming. Braun and a child winning the titles was funny but made the Bar look like trash. Main event was awful. Overall there were some highs and a fair number of lows, so I think a 6 is fair."

It's a big disrespect to Cena who is one of the biggest legends of the company and who has always shown his loyalty to the WWE. Or with Braun Strowman who teamed up with A CHILD, not only does WWE think we're stupid but it's also a big disrespect to Cesaro and Sheamus, very talented athletes, who had to lose to a child. Not to mention the match for the WWE title which was a total disappointment and which was not at the Wrestle Kingdom match level at all. Also, why did they give a title to Jinder Mahal again when nobody liked him ? And finally, the Main Event was horrible, nobody wanted to see Reigns win the title so the entire stadium booed the challenger and they had to change the result in the middle of the match. The only matches that worth the watch was the opener, although it would have been good to see Finn Balor as the Demon King, the Smackdown Women's Title Match, it was a great match to end Asuka's streak, and the Mixed Tag Match, Ronda Rousey's debut was impressive and, despite her lack of experience at that time, she was already very entertaining and showed that she would make a big impact in the women's division. To summarize, it's a WrestleMania that must be avoided absolutely even if we have time to lose."

Charlote vs. Asuka and Rousey Tag match were very good, Naka vs. Styles and the opener were good and the rest of the card were adequate."

And yes, I enjoyed Cena vs Taker squash match because i knew from the beggining that it was more like an epilogue for the Undertaker character than a one stand match, even if we wanted this to happen."

Ronda getting 20 fucking minutes in her first match? Alexa Bliss and Nia going more than 5-7 minutes? Brock RETAINING? Let me tell you, this shit led to some of the most unbearable episodes of RAW ever. Fucking nonsense booking. 8-10+ minutes of Taker theatrics (respect tho, he's a legend) was completely unnecessary even if it was for a match with Cena. By the way that match only lasted 2 minutes. Oh and the Bar, two hard as hell ass kickers, lost to a 4th grader. Fuck me."

It gains a Star and a Half only because the right man won in the end."

THEY DID a GREAT JOB with a lot of this event. Since I know not everyone will read all of this I want to start out by saying the main event is NOT bad. Don't worry, I'm not a ROMAN supporter or anything, there almost as bad as blind haters. I'm not a fan of how this angle was booked (getting us to hate Brock) then you come in with fans hating both men. (Goldberg-Lesnar) WM20? How did that turn out? So of course crowd would crap on it. Watch it without the crowd, it's brutal (in a good way) and both men did great. ***. I love the fact Brock went over. (Love long title runs that go over a year) Shinsuke-AJ was absolute crap considering what they should of been able to do. However crap for them is Roman-Brock's "GREAT" so same rating. ***. Cena-Taker is obviously a weird angle, and weird match. They gave the fans what they want... but they didn't? Hard to rate. I'll just say ** for what it was I guess. Rousey match kind of stole the show. ****. Opener was just as good 3way for IC title. ****. I wanted Asuka to beat Charlotte but I can't deny it was a great match. **** as well. That's among the highest I've ever gave a Ladies match in WWE. (Not NXT) Braun tag 1/2* for comedy. SD! Tag was about * 1/4. Nia-Bliss was about ** 1/2. U. S. title 4 way I don't remember fondly but I'll go ** 3/4. Daniel Bryan tag match was good, not great, or as good as they could of made it but considering the timing of the show and everything else, some matches couldn't be epic and people need to understand that. This was one of those, ***. So all in all, this is about a 6. 5/10, I round up to 7 because whether people like it or not this show had a ton of positives. It was a mixed bag but it's overall rating I feel is unfair and I don't usually praise new stuff. This show isn't bad or average."

Rousey/Angle vs Steph/HHH was far better than it perhaps should have been; a very well-put-together match with Rousey looking impressive in her in-ring debut. With the exception of Jax vs Bliss, which I thought was pretty decent, things started falling apart in the show's second half - the story and tag match format didn't serve to make Bryan's in-ring return special (and the loss kind of left Owens and Zayn in the lurch), AJ vs Nakamura was OK, but paled in comparison to their WrestleKingdom match, Taker vs Cena was a throwaway, Braun picking the kid as his partner might've been fun on Raw, but was a bit of a letdown for 'Mania (wouldn't it have made sense to keep Cena in the crowd til then, and have Braun pick him to begin Cena's redemption story? ), and Lesnar vs Roman was terrible. Not without its charms, but not one of the classic 'Manias by a longshot."
