| 1 | 01.04.2026 | katiee | 4.0 | WWE is really good at making people hold bad wrestling in high regard. This show is very pretty, but that can only get you so far. Most matches are either quite bad or TV level "meh" bouts. There is one GOOD match, Savage vs. Steamboat. And this might be a hot take but that match is simply overrated. Yes, it's very good. But that's all it is. It's not some groundbreaking feat of wrestling storytelling or athletic ability, it's just a good match. Don't tell me "It's just because it's from '87, back then it was mind-blowing! " No. I've seen far better matches from Japan and the territories from like 10+ years before this. It has one good match, a bad main event, and pretty much nothing else of note other than presentation. That is my opinion on Wrestlemania III. |

| 4 | 25.03.2026 | WoahItsDaryl | 4.0 | Without Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat, this really would've been another incredibly boring early WrestleMania. It still kind of is. But I do think it's the first instance of the WWF putting on their first great match on their biggest show of the year. It still holds up well to today's standards, and it's a real diamond in the rough compared to the rest of the action back then. Outside of that match, it's just not a good card. |
| 5 | 23.03.2026 | TrailsOfPersona | 5.0 | Wrestlemania 3 is the event that really made wrestling what it is today. And it really isn't even that good of a show. We have a single match in Savage/Steamboat and a single moment in Hogan/Andre that makes the entire show. Every other match is average or below. Then, the AMOUNT of matches is over the top. Double digit matches and the majority don't even get 10 minutes. A good handful don't even get 5. So it is quantity over quality. A memorable show with incredible historical significance, but not exactly an amazing one. |

Definitely one of the best WrestleManias of all times, the matches were amazing, while some were just a pure cartoon, Macho Man Randy Savage vs Ricky The Drago Steamboat and Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant, the best ones of the show. And in general the crowd was more than huge, the first Huge really PPV Show on the WWE history, 8/10 |
| 13 | 12.02.2026 | LuminousPink | 5.0 | Kind of a one-match show? Yes, the bodyslam is iconic, but the match it's in kinda sucks. Absurd scale though, 90, 000+ attendance is wild to see for this time period. Honky Tonk Man vs Alice Cooper is a funny dynamic I wasn't expecting to see, but I like it. Best Match: Ricky Steamboat vs "Macho Man" Randy Savage Worst Match: Koko B. Ware vs Butch Reed (as uninteresting a match as Hulk vs Andre was, the story behind it, plus the historical importance, actually had me interested. This match, however, had no story and was just boring) |

| 17 | 13.01.2026 | Ruthless Attitude | 8.0 | This was an iconic WrestleMania. It was a huge improvement over the first two with a great stadium setting at the Pontiac Silverdome and it stands out as one of the very best golden era shows with two iconic matches. Savage vs Steamboat was the match of the night and was the first true classic Mania match where the wrestling and the storytelling throughout was excellent. Hogan vs Andre is the most important WrestleMania main event to this day and even though it doesn't particularly hold up as a great wrestling match, it's made up for because of the spectacle with the iconic finish with Hogan landing the slam and slaying the giant. It's not really a two match show either as even though the undercard had some underwhelming matches, it did also feature and entertaining 6 man tag match featuring the Hart Foundation and The British Bulldogs and I enjoyed the shenanigans with Roddy vs Adonis in the hair vs hair match as well which also featured a babyface turn with Brutus Beefcake becoming his best remembered 'Barber' character. There's also good celebrity appearances that are thankfully kept out of commentary this time around and Monsoon and Ventura really shine on commentary with great back and forth throughout. It's not a perfect show, but the good far outweighed the bad for me. |

| 19 | 13.12.2025 | ItsComingHome2026 | 6.0 | A stellar match between Ricky and Randy and an iconic main event are the highlights of an enormous Wrestlemania. Too many tag matches including a stinker between The Killer Bees against Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik. Show felt absolutely huge in spectacle unlike the other two Wrestlemanias, card in general was mostly solid with some shorter matches being predictably slow and basic |

It has the huge stadium atmosphere, the massive main event, and one of the best matches in company history (Savage/Steamboat). The rest of the show is a potpourri of '80s professional wrestling, from midget matches to the Stampede style of Hart Foundation vs. the British Bulldogs to Piper having a fun match with Adrian Adonis. Some of it isn't great (or is downright bad), but the awe-inspiring spectacle of this show is what truly established the Mania of WrestleMania. It remains of the most iconic moments in wrestling history. |

| 33 | 22.05.2025 | Thenxt observer | 5.0 | (4.5/10) Ufffff! Not even a five. Good thing that the standards back then allowed for Mania III's legacy to live on in glory. But if you compare the third WrestleMania to today's Pro-Wrestling, everything would probably look outdated. As for the bright spots: Steamboat and Savage stole the show (and saved its memory while rewriting the course of history), while Hulk and Andre sold all the tickets, and with a packed, electric house and an undying atmosphere, a giant mountain of a universal wave, WrestleMania III marked the standard of how the show of shows can leave a lasting impact on the evolution of pop-culture. |

Hogan vs Giant war es schlecht oder war es gut? | 37 | 24.04.2025 | KKeanel | 7.0 | Glamour of 80s wrestling - this show really felt big and special. Music, introduction, charismatic entrances, a lot of matches properly structured to invest the crowd by characters' work - good reasons to be recognized as a top tier spectacle. |

| 40 | 13.04.2025 | niclaswrestling | 6.0 | Wrestlemania 3 is a special event. What makes this show for me is the unbelievable sight of the stadium and energy of the crowd, which makes even the weaker spots on the card feel like they are more than they are. None the less, this event is carried by two matches that would go on to be classics for opposite reasons. Steamboat vs Savage, an in-ring classic and one of the best matches of the early days, and Andre vs Hogan, an in-ring rollercoaster that managed to capture the crowd and set the stadium ablaze with its legendary finish. Beyond that, the show is filled with three other good matches, and otherwise short, forgettable or straight up bad bouts that as mentioned get somewhat redeemed by the place they are taking place in. All in all, Wrestlemania 3 is a great watch that features one of the best aesthetics of any show, and two of the most memorable matches in Wrestling history, earning it a 6/10 rating. |

| 49 | 26.03.2025 | GimliJr | 5.0 | Two good, memorable matches for the promotion's most prestigious titles. Not much flamboyance in the ring overall, even if Steamboat and Savage stand out. This saves the show, as well as the long-standing rivalries that provide a modicum of justification and stakes around fairly mediocre matches. The fact that the wrestlers are well identified, thanks in particular to the SNMEs, helps to make the matches a little more than bland fights. And the pre-match clips provide a bit of context, especially for the main event. So it's a decent show with a few historic moments, but very uneven in its quality. Fortunately, the bad matches aren't too long. We note the regrettable absence of women's competition on the card. In-ring quality: 3/5. Angles and segments outside matches: 0.5/3. Bonus/Malus: -0.5 for the absence of women's wrestling on the card. Total: 5/10. Show seen on WWE Network. |
| 50 | 24.03.2025 | Erdrick | 6.0 | The first WrestleMania that genuinely felt like a WrestleMania, with a grand spectacle in the main event, one of the greatest matches ever in Savage vs Steamboat, an undercard that was mostly serviceable-if-unspectacular, fantastic commentary from the team of Monsoon and Ventura, and some fun moments from the celebrity guests. If I had one major criticism - and I'm sure that this is not going to be anybody else's major criticism - it's that the six man tag with giants and midgets should've been longer, as Little Beaver's attempts to take down King Kong Bundy were a load of fun that ended too soon. |

| 53 | 12.03.2025 | JoKu2311 | 6.0 | It was not a great Wrestlemania, but it had its moments and was definitely better than the previous two. Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat was the best Mania match up to this point and will remain one of the most important matches in history. Hogan slamming Andre was iconic - a moment no wrestling fan can avoid because it will be shown somewhere, whether you like it or not. I am not a fan of Hulk Hogan but that moment was big and will be forever. The rest of the card was mediocre at best and could have profited from at least a few more decent matches. I would have loved to see the Hart Foundation vs British Bulldogs in a regular 15 minute Tag Match but this is not fantasy booking and it happened the way it did. Memorable Wrestlemania, even if only for two matches on the card. |
| 54 | 07.03.2025 | Kislozelje | 5.0 | Kinda mid Wrestlemania. I know people love to hate on Wrestlemania II, but to me that was a lo more entertaining thatn this one. Again the matches per se weren't bad from wrestling point of view, but the were more of nothing matches that could be saved for TV instead of PPV |

| 56 | 27.02.2025 | ChristianCaged | 7.0 | The sheer scale of this show, as well a massive upgrade in production value, pacing and the quality of the roster, make this a huge improvement on previous WrestleMania events in pretty much every department. It's not a particularly special show from a match quality standpoint, although Savage vs. Steamboat (****3/4) is a bonafide classic, and there are some other decent matches up and down the card (Piper vs. Adonis, Hart Foundation & Davis vs. Bulldogs & Tito). The main event certainly divides opinion: from a workrate perspective it's a one-star match at best, but from a spectacle and historical perspective it's undeniably a five-star match. So I'd split the difference and give it three stars. There's lots of other nice touches on this show, not least the little rings people enter in. This was also one of the finest performances Monsoon and Ventura ever had together on commentary. A very good show by all accounts, but a great show for the time. |

This is by no means a great wrestling show as the matches are mostly forgettable sub 6 minutes DQ fests where mostly heels win and it's not very good. Steamboat Vs. Savage basically made this show worth watching and the Hogan Andre match while terrible, was too iconic for me to dog on it. Good for it's time but isn't the best in ring wise. |
| 60 | 04.02.2025 | VinceShawnBrown3Way | | WHY HASNT ANYONE MENTIONED THE KILLERBEES SQUARING OFF AGAINST NIKOLI VOLKOLV AND THE IRON SHEIK? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PPL? Highlighted by Hacksaw Jim Duggans WWF debut basically everyone but you weirdos who know exactly what superstars of wrestling he began with. Here's why this was the PREMIERE match of the night. It led to the REAL LIFE angle of HACKSAW AND THE SHEIK sharing a rental doing COCAINE together. Followed by the aftermath (NO KAE FAB here for you CM PUNK hard on MF's) of them being pulled over on the JERSEY PARKWAY by THE STATE POLICE! What's happens next is what makes THE KILLER BEES VS (former tag champs) VOLKOLV and SHEIK so AMAZING! HACKSAW (HOOOOOO! ) and THE IRON ("KRAMER from SEINFELD IM GONNA F**K YOU UP THE A££ AND MAKE YOU HUMBLE") so UNFORGEABLE! In a CRUEL twist of fate THE IRON SHEIK is FIIIIIIIRED for this by Vince. Not Hacksaw Jim Duggan though. Nope, he was HOOOOOOO! Too "OVER" as you MARK HENRY (POSTER above your beds ceiling) fans would say. What's nuts after all these yrs is that we JUST LEARNED 2 yrs ago was that this WAS indeed A SHOOT! The show is jam-packed with participants and set-ups and can even boast a technical evergreen of the 'Savage vs Steamboat' brand. Apart from that, however, it's too overloaded in my eyes and only really worth watching in a few places - Haynes/Hernandez, Piper and the Stampede crown jewels are worth a look at best. The mainer is of course iconically glorified, as neither was Andre undefeated, nor is the match a timeless top shelf classic. Ultimately, the title match is just the aftershock of the Slam, and that's all McMahon wanted.A full card with few highlights, but at least one big torpedo in the pipe. |

| 67 | 31.12.2024 | Your5Guy | 6.0 | This is the first Wrestlemania which was actually bearable to watch, however, it has the problem of being carried by 1-2 specific matches, of course, one of them is Ricky Steamboat vs "Macho Man" Randy Savage, which was just simply a very good wrestling match, and the main event of Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant, which, was not a particularly phenomenal, but it did capture the tension and essence of Wrestlemania. But aside those two, Wrestlemania III's card war rather forgettable, albeit I enjoyed the Hair vs Hair match between Adrian Adonis and Roddy Piper. Despite it's overall mediocrisy, Wrestlemania III was an ENORMOUS improvement from the previous two, and the match between Steamboat and the Macho Man was a classic. |
| 68 | 20.12.2024 | Willie 19200 | 5.0 | It had one amazing match, a decent one, a bunch that were less than 5 minuets, and Hogan vs Andre. This shows main event was very important and changed the wrestling world even though the match was bad. Ricky vs Randy was my favorite match on this show and I think it was super fun and I really enjoyed it but everything else was plain and stale. |
| 69 | 03.12.2024 | BlueAwfulWaffle | 5.0 | WrestleMania III had some great matches, and the sight of Andre being slammed by Hogan is iconic. However, there were four matches that had less than five minutes of ring time, which made them feel like filler. This is a problem that has persisted for three WrestleManias now, and it really holds this event back. |

| 75 | 21.10.2024 | VileVirgil | 5.0 | A better Wrestlemania than the ones before it but it still suffers from feeling like a bunch of odd undercard matches leading up to Hogan. While Steamboat and Savage breaks this mold and some of the other matches actually have some story in them it isn't enough. Many of the matches are nothing and there's an odd trend of heels winning but faces celebrating. An iconic card but one only saved score wise by the Intercontinental Championship match. 5/10. |

| 81 | 28.07.2024 | Obird122 | 7.0 | i believe that this is the Wrestlemania that really made it what we think of when we think of Wrestlemania. The Hogan slam on Andre the Giant, Steamboat vs. Savage, and everything in between. While there wasn't anything that made it some thing I will go back and watch often, it was filled with historic moments and iconic matches. |
| 82 | 23.07.2024 | Pineapple | 4.0 | While Wrestlemania 3 is the company's best spectacle so far, it still suffers from the same problem as its two immediate predecessors, a card full of largely pointless, short matches. Match 1: 4/10 Match 2: 3/10 Match 3: 2/10 Match 4: 3/10 Match 5: 4/10 Match 6: 4/10 Match 7: 5/10 Match 8: /10 Match 9: 8/10 Match 10: 3/10 Match 11: 3/10 Match 12: 6/10 Total = 4.09/10 |
| 83 | 19.07.2024 | SpecialAgentCooper | 6.0 | I think it can be tempting to overrate the whole WrestleMania III experience on the power of three important factors: A.) One absolutely incredible match (Savage vs. Steamboat for the IC) that is arguably the best WWF PPV match of the 1980's, B.) The iconic value of the Hogan bodyslam on Andre the Giant in an otherwise mediocre title defense and C.) the wildly improved production values and arena booking of WrestleMania III as compared to WrestleMania and WrestleMania 2. Those three things are definitely enough for me to grade this event higher than the previous Mania installments. On the other hand, the undercard had plenty of short stinkers, the celebrities were super underwhelming and there was a weird tendency to actually book more heel wins than face wins here, which is not really the booking strategy or vibe that you generally want for a Mania PPV, but generally instead best saved for a lesser, story-building PPV. There are a few really terrible moments in the neverending undercard, but the two that stand out to most to me are the awkwardly and randomly executed Beefcake post-match face turn (which had the commentary crew firmly as confused as the audience) and Jim Duggan randomly (as a face) causing another face team to lose by interference and then making the match all about his xenophobia with a lame in-ring promo, while the losing Killer Bees cheer on his interference that led to their loss. I will say, besides the obvious importance of the incredible Savage/Steamboat match and Andre getting slammed, my favorite thing about this PPV is probably the introduction of the little wrestling ring shaped entrance carts. Fun stuff! |
