[4.0] "After the putrid rating of the last couple of weeks, WWE had to show some urgency w/ this episode in order to save face. However, outside the exciting Balor/Reigns contest, it was dull business-as-usual w/ an irritatingly bray-ing M Cole anchoring this middling product. Dull = a fatal five way... not even an elimination match in which it would be much more clear who would deserve to face B Lesnar in July. It won't be a flash-pin, but that a single match swallows-up five of the best talent on a single brand w/out providing a solid denouncement for three of them only serves to continue this lame-dog period of pro-wrestling until the NBA/NHL playoff season has ended. I wasn't upset by Reigns pinning Balor as he was returning-the-favor from the Universal Title tournament. However, w/ the airing of 24: Finn Balor, he being the recipient of the loudest pop when asked who the crowd wants to see face Brock, and the fact he was not pinned to lose the title, it is the logical and fair thing to have Finn emerge from the five-way @ Extreme Rules the winner and challenge, (and lose to, ) Brock at the following big show. I was mostly bored t/out the show. For example, I saw The Miz/Ambrose for months last year on Smackdown so I am not into watching them yet again have the same matches as I've become too familiarized w/ the rhythm of their beats. I'm not into watching an over-the-hill 'Hardy Boyz' act. I'm not into A Fox. I'm not into 'the Golden Truth, ' nor Titus. Wow, dismissing three black people in a row may read as racist so let me offer I miss Big E as well as I enjoy listening to ghetto Booker butcher loanwords. His class of the night: Jeff hits his sentan and Booker calls it the 'coup d'etat, ' when he meant 'coup de grace. ' I felt Bailey came off well and I would like to see her recapture the title. Bliss is appealing and is good at memorizing scripts, but she needs to summon greater energy in order to shush the crowd. 4. 5 rounded down"
[6.0] "This episode of Raw had the potential to be one of the best episodes of 2017, but of the 3 best matches of the night, 2 ended in DQ and one ended in Roman winning clean over Finn Balor. If those 3 matches would've ended differently the show would've been a lot better."
[7.0] "A mixture of an episode, it had some very enjoyable moments but also some of its usual filler. Opening segment was good. Miz vs Ambrose match had excellent pacing, crappy finish though. Reigns vs Balor was brilliant. Alexa's promo work was on point again. Rollins vs Wyatt was average but the aftermath was done well. Alicia vs Sasha, Cass vs Titus and Cruiserweights were skippable."
[7.0] "An above-average episode in that few things were actually bad. Most of it was pretty standard, there were some solid promos and segments (Goldust being heel for the first time in a long time is neat), the main event was solid but was just there so Joe could attack Seth at the end of the night (**3/4 or so). IC Title match was REALLY hot which was nice; another very solid match between Dean & Miz that was elevated to recommended status by the atmosphere (***1/2). Balor vs Reigns was really great stuff; Roman's selling of his injury is so good and Finn both targeted it and sold well himself when Roman managed to get off his power offense, plus the Coup de Gras was protected in a very smart way (****). Also a fan of Bray standing tall to end the show."
[5.0] "The opener segment was good, as it was Balor vs Reigns (***1/2). The Main Event was a ok match (**), but I still can't buy Wyatt as a Main Eventer. Ok show on overall."
[5.0] "Roman vs Finn was the only good match but the decision of putting over an injured Roman over healthy Finn was bad as Finn is rumoured to face Lesnar at GBOF. The opening segment was good and so was Bayley-Alexa Segment. Rest of the show was the usual filler stuff. Raw Sucks"
