[6.0] "KUSHIDA -vs- Joseph Conners – (Semis) [** 1/4], Will Ospreay -vs- Ricochet – (Semis) [** 3/4], Penta El Zero M -vs- Mike Bailey [** 1/2] They mixed well. Perhaps not the best audience for what they were doing, but entertaining regardless. First time on these WCPW shows I’ve seen Bailey getting out-shined, for Pentagon Jr. was a much stronger presence in this one. El Ligero -vs- Rampage [* 1/2] You don’t jump onto a ton of bricks. Ligero learned that. You knock down its balls. Zack Sabre Jr. -vs- Alex Gracie [** 1/2] Ground lesson for Gracie. Who’s ever thought that would be needed for a guy calling himself Gracie. Anyway, Zack does what Zack does. This Alex Gracie is not exactly a high-level opponent compared to what Ospreay has been facing of-late, and the performance kind of express that as it feels like only mid-level Sabre going to work. Joe Hendry -vs- Jake Swagger – (WCPW Title) [**] Former World Heavyweight Champion in WWE Jake Swagger, now taking indy dates, and looking about the same as he did in the big leagues. Solid unspectacular wrestler giving the WCPW Champion some trouble with the ankle lock. Hendry has ankle locks of his own and beat the former WWE superstar surprisingly easy locking in both ankles for the submission. Swagger is clearly a fan of not overdoing things, which comes across as not giving enough when on a show where you have a ton international wrestlers who actually believes in going all-out. KUSHIDA -vs- Will Ospreay – (Final) [***]"

[7.0] "Pretty entertaining show . Only one bad match . A couple of great matches . The ended up to a pretty good tournament , at least the portions that I saw . Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay was great as was my top match KUSHIDA vs. Will Ospreay ."

[7.0] "KUSHIDA/Conners: ***3/4. Conners hung with KUSHIDA in this. Showed a bit of Heelishness, which was good. He usually comes off a being bland, so him going heel would do him good. Ricochet/Ospreay: ***3/4. Very good match. Not nearly as good as some of there other matches. Ricochet really is starting to turn in to The Rock. Bailey/Penta: ****. Great match. Bailey got over with me over the last few days of shows. Guy is fantastic, shame about his visa issues. This was MOTN i think. Cup Final: ****. Significantly down from other matches they've had. Very good show."

[7.0] "Kushida Conners was a good opening match I always like watching conners wrestle. Ospreay and RIcochet always put on a good performance and this was another example of that. Penta EL Zero M and Mike Bailey was also very good. I was a little bit skeptical of how this match would turn out at first but it ended up being very good. Next the el Ligero Rampage match was a little dull if they had been given more time it probably could have been a better match. The ZSJ Gracie match was also a bit underwhelming and sets up another ZSJ v Kidd match it would have been nice to seen Gracie have a better showing here and maybe pick up a win. The Joe Hendy Jack Swagger match was also a bit lame. None of the spots really seemed to come off that well and the double ankle lock by Hendry to win was just stupid. The final match between Kushida and Ospreay was amazing telling an intense story as ospreay seemed depleted and almost out of energy but kept pecking along with great moments and pops at every turn. In the end the three World Cup matches plus Penta El Zero M Bailey match really carried this show."
