[6.0] "Opener was great. Exactly how you should start a show - with two guys who always put on a spirited performance. RATEL'S vs Ohara/Fujiwara was alright, but Fujiwara dragged it down a bit. YO-HEY and HAYATA make a very fun team. Robbie E vs Kumano was pretty terrible. Robbie decided to have a comedy match and it was an awful idea, considering he was going over. It made Kumano look like a complete joke for losing to him, especially to that shitty submission. Cody/Reign vs Harada/Tadasuke was a clipped squash. It didn't make me particularly excited to see the foreign team challenge for the titles. I liked the finish of Kenoh/Sugiura vs Ishimori/Hi69, but the match itself never became anything more than fine. Nakajima/Kitamiya vs Yone/Saito was pretty good. Nakajima's selling of Yone's not so great kick was amazing. Crowd seemed genuinely concerned. Main event was fantastic. All four guys worked their asses off and even Maybach, who I'm not the biggest fan of, looked great. An ok show, but nothing you need to see other than the main event."

[4.0] "The main event delivered at the end, but it’s a disappointing show ending a disappointing tour. Naomichi Marufuji & Maybach Taniguchi -vs- Go Shiozaki & Atsushi Kotoge – (Global Tag League 2017 – Final) [** 1/2] - Best match available from the Global Tag League 2017 and it’s fitting that it was the final. The same old with over 20 minutes of random stuff and then a 5 minute climax portion. To think this company is related to the old AJPW of the 90s. The build-up actually meant something back then. It doesn’t in NOAH. It’s just time-filler before they start doing the few moves they have that does mean something."

[7.0] "Pretty good show . They could have done without the Gaijin . E's offense looks weak compared to everyone else on the show and the submission finish looked awful . I have absolutely no use for Hall at this point . The rest of the matches were entertaining and the main survived a misstep to close the show strong . Maybach is not as awful as he once was . A couple of novelty endings thrown in . Matches worth watching : Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Takuya Nomura , Hajime Ohara & Rionne Fujiwara vs. RATEL'S (HAYATA & YO-HEY) , Kenou & Takashi Sugiura vs. XX (Hi69 & Taiji Ishimori) , Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya vs. Akitoshi Saito & Mohammed Yone and my top match was Atsushi Kotoge & Go Shiozaki vs. Maybach Taniguchi & Naomichi Marufuji ."

"This is the only 'Global Tag League' match I will watch though I've heard/read it's fantastic. Hot, anticipatory crowd. It's a tale of two matches. The first is of a strong Shiozaki shine in which he shows that he's easily NOAH's most consistent high-performer and should be a mega-star if not for his intransigence in maintaining his serious but righteous character. I admire that he is willing to suffer for his art, but as a strong fan of his for the past decade it's disappointing that he's not box-office and that fans don't rally behind him when he's a company' champion. Now that the crowd has been enveloped by the first-rate Shiozaki, their pitch grows higher as recent graduate to the heavywegiht ranks, ha, the appealing and female favorite Kotoge struggles in battling the very medicore but convincingly gesticulating Maybach. At one point I thought he would win as Shiozaki chopped Maybach -> Kotoge 'Unprettier' for a convincing near-fall. AK also hit a couple nice roll-ups late but the monster was too much and got the pinfall for the champs. Although it's a rating I often fall back on when I feel something is very, very good But not great, I think this is classic 3 3/4 stuff. On a final note, I'm not sure I am qualified, due to not watching enough of this product, to offer an opinion on NOAH educating its audience on the possibility of a KO blow happening anytime within a contest. But perusing NOAH's recent results I see that it's being employed often, yet hopefully not to diminishing returns and risking alienating its small fanbase. Certainly the kick Yone delivered in the semi-final did not look devestating-enough to merit the Nakajima selljob, but again, I have not watched enough recent NOAH to judge."
