[6.0] "Penta & Fenix have their obvious chemistry and showed that off with their greatest hits after some neat lucha submission trading (***1/4). Ligero vs Drago was incredibly standard a bit bland (**1/4). I honestly skipped the hardcore match. Mysterio vs Patron had chemistry as well, and some heat, but not a lot of memorable moments (***). Juvi is very good for his age, but Hijo de Dos Caras is green despite his solid power base and took some offense poorly while basing (**1/4). Rampage vs Banks was a really nice sprint; a cool break from tourney action (***1/4). Rhodes vs Galloway was meant to be a minor epic to send Drew off, but it didn't really come together; some of the spots just fell flat or were overbooked to an extent, with Cody & Brandi going through the table being the best of the bunch in terms of grabbing attention; the finish what it was bogged it down too, even if on the surface a lot of the sequences were good and the crowd was lively (***1/4). Penta/Ligero II was not good; Ligero's "aggression" was really bad, Penta just hit his big late-game spots, there was no chemistry or heat or anything, and I hate the "trade destroyers" spot 99% of the time (*3/4). Rey & Juvi have worked together so much and have retained a lot of their athleticism, so their match here was smooth and had the crowd into it (***1/4). Going into the main event, I wasn't thrilled, since Kirby doesn't do a lot for me and Hendry is more of a talker, but the way they put this together was amazing; the early going was basic, as expected, but as soon as Kirby hit the barricade it got awesome; Kirby selling not just pain, but that he can't keep up his wits or equilibrium with his brain scrambled, as Hendry just maliciously targets that head until the ref stops the match before a punt that could potentially kill him; it's a really bold direction to take, but it worked really well and made Joe look like a superheel (****). Middling show with a GREAT main event."

[8.0] "Good matches throughout the entire event. Right wrestlers went over to advance in the tournament, and WCPW did some really good research for everyone's Tale of the Tape. There was also great storytelling in the main event for the WCPW title, and although it was a short reign for Kirby, Joe Hendry winning it will allow some good stories to develop eventually. It was also Drew's final indy show. Overall, good show."
