' W/ a couple of exceptions, a show of this name has annually taken place on either 04/29 or 05/04. Outside of 'Golden Wk, ' why these particular dates? Furthermore, what exactly does 'Max Bump' imply? As I type I'm hearin M Henry's entrance music, "sombody gonna get... " Well in honor, let's celebrate who deserves the bump trophy for each match. a) the chopsticks that voluntarily gave its life to be snapped by the power of R Issacs buttcheeks. Though in-ring he's a clod, he showed more camraderie w/ Dino in the pre-match backstage segment than either Cabana & J Ryan. b) The TV-watching audience who survived w/out many entrance themes due to 'copyrights. ' This affects DDT more than most b/c of acts like NWA. However, Tagaki & Ow initiated an ad-libbing of Hirata's music so we don't miss out & can dance. c) The audience, again, for all that's Heidi. Great build/good look/as terrible as Akai. d) The audience scores a hat trick for enduring Akito's new trunks, a nebulae too-tight/too-short abombination. Perhaps that's why this intriguing singles match only went 6 minutes. e) HARASHIMA, perhaps inspired by the younger troopers, took some big moves including taking a Higuchi chokeslam from atop Irie's shoulders. Fun sprint and Higuchi pinned 'the Ace' clean. 3 1/4 f) Takayama whose conversion to seeing things Dino's way led to new tag champs. During Dino's intro, he picks up a little boy who afterwards is bawling probs due to shattered innocence -> an unwanted intro to Homo-Death. I love DD, but have too feared him in my past. Very fun encounter g) Both men who proved their stamina. Though generational peers, KT was given 80% of the shine during their tag/'Happy Motel' days and so I was pleased this bout was booked as a draw.
