[5.0] "A real B-level show regardless of having 2 title matches on the card. Hirooki Goto -vs- Minoru Suzuki – (NEVER Openweight Title) [** 3/4] I appreciated it, but I wasn’t loving it. Felt a little half-hearted considering it’s Suzuki messing about. For it was entirely Suzuki’s match bullying Goto. Whenever the champ was let loose his comebacks were good, but then Suzuki would not give a crap to get back in control. The ref bumping stuff was the laziest of all, but that’s Suzuki for you. Too cool to care, but a world-class prick. Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Taichi -vs- Rocky Romero & Baretta – (IWGP Junior Tag Title) [**] I think it would have been a more interesting match had Miho Abe wrestled the match. She was ready for it (and so was everybody else except the gay challengers), but it wasn’t to be. We got Kanemaru & Taichi instead. I guess, the match was okay. No real thrills or anything, but at least we got the belts off sucked-dry pair. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yoshitatsu & Juice Robinson & Ryusuke Taguchi & Ricochet -vs- Tetsuya Naito & SANADA & “King of Darkness” EVIL & Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI [** 1/4] The fun tag, elevating Juice Robinson some more! Kenny Omega & Bad Luck Fale & Yujiro Takahashi -vs- Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI [**] These guys continuing what they’ve been doing on the tour. Less inspired than on the tour-starter…. so it’s time for the actual singles matches to happen now."
[7.0] "I only really watched the title matches on this show, but they were both very good. RPG Vice vs. Suzuki-Gun was a perfect face vs. heel story, and everyone worked hard to make it a fun match. (3. 75/5). Minoru Suzuki vs. Hirooki Goto was a great blend of technical wrestling, brawling, and fantastic heel work from Suzuki. (4/5). Having RPG Vice and Minoru as champions just feels right. I might eventually watch the rest of the show, as it's probably all solid, but those matches are certainly worth the time."
