[8.0] "Die ersten 3 Matches könnten alle überzeugen und hatten einige gute Phasen. Vor allem Goto vs. Gibson war hierbei besser, als ich es erwartet habe. Das erste richtig gute Match bekam man dann mit Scurll vs. Takahashi, auch wenn die beiden in Zukunft sogar noch bessere Matches gegeneinander haben sollten. Bodom vs. Ospreay war für mich das beste Match hinter dem Co. Ospreay war hier so genial wie immer mit einem Bodom, der hier gut mitgegangen ist. Wird wohl das beste Match seiner Karriere sein. Kushida vs. Zack Sabre Jr. war wie schon erwähnt großartig der Main Event war genau das, was man erwarten durfte. Spot-Wrestling mit ein paar komödiantischen Elementen. Es gab zwar keinen MOTYC, aber das war durchgehend gut bis großartig, was hier gezeigt wurde."

[8.0] "Recht launiger Opener, aber dieser übertriebener Comedy-Ansatz hat bei vier Workern bei mir nicht geklickt. Hätte etwas mehr Stiffness und mehr Schlagabtausch erwartet. Einzig die gut durchgechoreographierte Schlussphase unterhält mich dann. Anschließendes Segment kann man so machen. White und Angelico bieten sicherlich feines anspruchsvolles Wrestling, aber das ist kein Match, sondern eine Abfolge von verschiedenen Moves. Gibson und Goto hätte was werden können, aber letztendlich werden sie vom übertriebenen Heel-Work zerpflückt.. Scurll mit dem derzeit besten Look im Pro Wrestling. Die Herren ruhen sich aber zum Teil etwas zu sehr auf dem Hype rund um das Match aus. Hat definitiv seine Momente, aber man verpasst hier was Großes auf die Beine zu stellen. Bei dem Aufbau der Fehde wenig überraschend machen es Ospreay und Bodom da besser. Gute Intensität und Ospreay gelingt es, Bodom als Gefahr darzustellen. Sehr schöne intensive Sequenzen. So gut habe ich Bodom noch nie gesehen. Gibsons Rolle ist ok, dafür war das Finish auch insgesamt zu gut als dass es stören könnte. (***3/4) Die Ex-Revolutionäre mit einem wilden Brawl nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Sabre Jr. und Kushida machen dann wirklich viel richtig und die Art und Weise, wie sich die Stile vermischen ist super. Kushida mit schönen Anleihen aus ZSJs Repertoire. Starker Matchfluss, der nicht 100%ig bei mir klickt, da es sich zu sehr nach „Kein Titelwechsel, aber wir machen etwas Großes! “-Showcase anfühlt. Die Psychologie lässt mich in Teilen einfach zu kalt, dennoch ein sehenswertes Match. (***3/4) Der Main Event ist ein kurzweiliges Spotfest mit einer gehörigen Portion Bullet Club-Atmosphäre, die Rush, Strickland & Smile fast zu sehr in Nebendarstellerrolle steckt, die sich aber trotzdem zeigen dürfen und letztendlich das Match auch rund machen. (In Teilen sehr) Unterhaltsame RevPro-Show, die sich aber insgesamt zu sehr nach Showcase-Event auf Freundschaftsspiel-Niveau, anfühlt."

[9.0] "TagTeam Match ist ein schwungvoller Opener, mit netter, aber teilweise überspitzter Comedy, doch einigen schönen Sequenzen. Auch mit Sami's Turn ein guter Start in die Show (***1/4). Angelico/White ist ein wunderbares Match, was einen überraschenderweise in den Bann zieht. Ziemlich ordentliches Match, was wenn es in den Anfangsminuten nicht so zäh gewesen wäre noch besser abgeschnitten hätte (***). Goto/Gibson war ein teilweise stiffes Match mit netter Psychologie, das phasenweise zu strukturlos bleibt. Finish ist extrem idiotisch (**3/4). In Takahashi/Scurll hat man nicht nur den Battle der Charismabomben sondern auch ein extrem starkes Match, mit kontinuierlicher Story, NearFalls und Intensität, was mit einer etwas stärkeren MidPhase noch besser hätte sein können (***3/4). Ospreay & Bodom erzählen durchgehend eine schöne Story, die sich zwar auch auf Bodom's Knie, hauptsächlich aber auf Ospreay's Rückenverletzung basiert. Schönes Selling von Ospreay und auch sonst ein nettes Match, was leider durch Gibson's Eingriff zerstört wird (***3/4). No DQ Match ist dann überhaupt nichts für mich. Keine Struktur, keine Sequenzen und abgesehen von Samuels' Moonsault auch nichts sehenswertes (*3/4). ZSJ/Kushida braucht knapp 10 Minuten um an Fahrt aufzunehmen, entwickelt sich dann aber zu einem hoch-intensiven technischen Meisterstück. Ein unglaublich fantastisches Match, was meiner Meinung nach locker der Main Event hätte sein können (****1/2). Main Event ist dann ein Spotfest wie man es gewöhnt ist. Wunderbar inszenierte Spots, überragende Sequenzen aller Beteiligten und Non-Stop Action. Vom Enjoyment Faktor sicherlich das stärkste Match der Show, vom Drama her leicht hinter dem Co-Mainer (****1/4). Insgesamt eine klasse Show: 8. 75/10"

[7.0] "Rev Pro's interpromotional relationships allow for matches, in a world-class intimate venue, that no other company can currently put on. The ROH TV champ vs. the IWGP Jr champion, are you kidding me? ! T/out Simmonz does a good job of tempering the other Andy's rah-rah huckster character. Perhaps what was missing from the Guv'nor's gimmick were a lack of acolyes. Solid opener as Banks & Sami are high-quality spot sprinters, and having often recently worked together, make this flow. TB & a partner against OI4K, please. The next battle, dudes who look like third cousins, was predictably lacking personality. Despite not possessing a skillset that sets him apart, J White may be fine if he got some mic time and character development -> sorely lacking. Angelico seems at the same, or lower level, than 18 months ago. Zack G is a heat monster; the match was anonymous though b/c Zack isn't polished enough to bring Goto out of his bland workmanlike routine. For me, Goto is like a British Bulldog, he migrates to where his opposition lays. I rag on Scurll but do think he's awfully good. But I get hung up on the small things, and he typically extends his schtick a couple seconds past the due date. Here it wasn't overdone, A more manly haircut, and he took the end from a crazy dude like Hiromu, like a champ. Solid 3 1/2. Ospreay should really take a break; Rico did on this weekend. Anyway, outside of the interference I really liked Bodom's victory over Will. WO had his moments, his 450 springboard was awesome tonight, but his back... , 3 2/3. Rev Pro misread the crowd on the Sha/Castle silliness as the crowd wanted to like Sha, but the post-match cutting confused them into not knowing how to feel. ZSJ still doesn't get or want to get that he's a heel who cheated to win back his title. He also overly dominates the match thus not elevating his challenger. The Elite came off like Big stars and this was their showcase but just a 3 1/3. Of the three, the Brit was not pinned"

[8.0] "Sabre Jr. vs. KUSHIDA war schon lange ein Dream Match von mir und beide haben hier absolut geliefert (****1/2 MotYC). Dazu ein spaßiger Main Event mit the Elite auf UK Tour (****), ein gutes Cruiserweigt Title Match (***3/4) & Scrull vs. Takahashi (***1/2) machen ein wirklich tolle Show."

[8.0] "White/Angelico: ***1/4. The battle of the bad haircuts. Angelico felt like he was sleepwalking through most of this match. By midway through it was alright, and by the end it was good. Goto/Gibson: ***1/4. Guys would kill to have the heat that Gibson has. Match was good, but a bit boring. Hiromu/Scurll: ***3/4. Very very good match between 2 heels and 2 champions. Hope to see it again. Ospreay/Bodom: ****. Great Heel work by Bodom, who is one of the more underrated guys in the UK. Great GREAT selling by Ospreay, who's selling of the back made the match great, though both competitors were great. ZSJ/KUSHIDA: ****1/4. Technically worked greatly. Crowd hurt a little i think. Still fantastic. Great show."

[8.0] "My first full RevPro event that I've watched in full detail and I was quite impressed by it to be honest. CCK vs Stone & Callihan was real good (***1/2), White/Angelico was meh (*), Goto/Gibson wasn't much better (*1/2), Hiromu/Scurll started off good but then faded until the ending stretch (**1/4), Bodom/Ospreay was GREAT and completely blew away any thoughts I had coming into this matchup (****), ZSJ/KUSHIDA was an absolute BANGER and I freaking loved how technical it was and ZSJ delivered a tremendous performance and the selling was outstanding (****3/4), Samuels/Castle was there (*), and the Main Event was real good (***1/2). Overall a tremendous show and one that is worth watching for Bodom/Ospreay & KUSHIDA/ZSJ alone."

[9.0] "Aktuell beim RevPro British Cruiserweight Title Match und wer sich das Match ansieht wird sehen das Will sehr viel Tape am Rücken hat. Das hat Gründe sein Rücken ist oder war nämlich von riesigen Abdrücken übersät die er bei einem Match bekommen hat. Das schaut aus und tut ihm auch weh deshalb musste das mit Tape verdeckt werden. Schade das Zack Gibson hier eingriff das Ding war stark aber durch seinen Eingriff nur (***3/4). So alles fertig gesehen. Ja kaum sind sie wieder in England zurück gehen die Dream Matches werden was für ein großartiges Line-Up RevPro hier wieder gebookt hat. Bis auf das No DQ Match das war schon nur ansehnlich (**). Matches im 7-9 Punkte Bereich. Mein Match of the Night der Co Main Event wieder ein Dream Singles Match das es zum ersten Mal gab und Hell of a Match, großartig (****1/4). Auch sehr, sehr stark Hiromu Takahashi vs. Marty Scurll die Regenschirm Szenen war so genial und Marty mit wieder neuer Frisur (****). Selbes Match Rating der Main Event The Elite auf UK Tour und die zweite Station. Riesen Spotfest Spaß, sehr stark und sehr unterhaltsam (****). Epic Encounter 2017 machte wieder so viel Laune, 9 Punkte."

[8.0] "I was mildly annoyed with how quiet the crowd was for the undercard. CCK vs Stone & Sami was a really nice opening sprint, but the comedy went a tad long (***1/2). White vs Angelico started like a very average contest but got hot in the final minutes (***1/4). Gibson vs Goto was paced like a NJPW match in front of a crowd that didn't click with it, although it was performed well with some brawling and some technical offense; what I really loved was how Goto saved a slip-up at one point to make it feel natural, and how he used the Sleeper to set up the GTR as a nod to the injured Shibata (***1/4). Hiromu vs Scurll started HOT and ended HOT, but I feel as though they dragged out too much in the middle; Scurll is a good heel but sometimes when working on top he stalls too much, and that likely prevented a quite good match from being greater than that (***1/4 to ***1/2). Bodom vs Ospreay started great, with Bodom just blasting Ospreay in so many ways that targeted his back, and even during his comeback Will's selling really impressed me, while Bodom's selling of the worked leg was strong; the intensity and hatred in this was palpable and both guys were just wrecked by one another, and the Gibson interference made storyline while leading to a REALLY slick finish (****1/4). Samuels vs Castle was a match, Sha did a moonsault that was cool (**1/2). SZKG ZSJ vs KUSH was paced out to ~30 minutes and didn't really feel like it dragged most of that time; the technical work had a ton of variety and the selling was pretty good... but this never really hit that next level to me; a MUCH better long match than ZSJ/Scurll but never truly escalated for any significant time (***3/4). Trios match was meant to be fun, and it was fun, fun stuff; semi-comedic spotfest that had a bunch of fun sequences and actually got the crowd going; Kenny was on fire the whole match and the final stretch was legitimately great stuff (***3/4). A VERY nice show from RevPro with a crazy variety of talent"

[7.0] "CCK vs. Stone & Callihan was a very strong opener - really good action from start to finish (***1/2), the next 2 matches in Angelico/White & Goto/Gibson were very uneventful (*), Hiromu/Scurll started off good, but it was all downhill from there - very boring match (*1/2), Bodom/Ospreay was great, Ospreay gave one of his best performances to date (****), Castle/Samuels was 'a match' (*), ZSJ/KUSHIDA delivered a classic - one of the best matches of both men's careers, easy MOTN (****3/4) & the main event was a lot of fun with everybody looking impressive & The Elite giving a good effort (***3/4). There were 4 very meh matches, but then there were 4 really awesome matches (with one of them being an absolute classic). Good show!"

[10.0] "CCK vs. Callihan/Stone - ***3/4 Angelico vs. White - *** Gibson vs. Goto - ***1/4 Hiromu vs. Scurll - **** Bodom vs. Ospreay - ****1/2 Castle vs. Sha - **3/4 ZSJ vs. KUSHIDA - ****1/4 Elite vs. Rush/Smile/Strickland - ****1/4 Incredible show, my favourite ever I've been to live. Lots of high quality matches with nothing bad at all. Some very different styles on show all night aswell with the top three matches being completely different. Crowd was molten hot all night and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely recommend everyone watches this show."
