[4.0] "Nothing much aside from the send off for Nakamura and the Lorcan vs. McIntyre match which was short but good . Miley looks like he could pull off a Mongolian Stomper type character . Match worth watching and my top match was Drew McIntyre vs. Oney Lorcan ."

[6.0] "In preperation for this weekend's big show I'm going to enjoy a mini-marathon of NXT. What an off-putting, birth-of-a-demon cool entrance for Mr. Black though he should most definitely be a heel. As he's just in process of being introduced, a tweener status is adequate; however, just as acts like 'The Young Bucks' make it more difficult for traditional babyfaces to get-over, if Black is anything but a heel how does one identify a face? One lightning-fast spinning back kick and it's over for Mr. Hollis. #DIY are also given a profile victory, but they're most likely in a holding pattern until the expected break-up. However, if 'The Authors of Pain' are soon moving up to the main roster, then keep #DIY together as a stable part of NXT as all of the roster changes make it difficult to sustain a success of a brand. It's quite jarring to see R Riot/K Frankele facing-off in a NXT ring. My fave 50s diner waitress Ruby still looks like H Lovelace; she's listening to the Ravonettes while awaiting her greasy boyfriend driving an early-model Mustang. Kim is slightly more doll'd-up. I wish this was longer, but as a profile it was fine... Ruby's WWE finisher is a "wind-up Pele kick. " Nikki Cross may be a part of Sanity, but she's better than this gimmick... expressive eyes/smile, she's probably a better Becky Lynch than Becky. I've never been to Boston, but everything about Oney says 'Southie. ' As the other individuals wrote about, Oney and Drew had themselves a short, but manly fight. The show ends w/ the Nakamura 'goodbye' of which I was pleased to watch even though I stopped watching him when he was placed into a feud w/ someone less-than-glorious. WoW - a woman's crying... ok, why? ! The babyfaces and a recovring Balor are out-on-the-apron to wish him well. 5. 5 - 5. 75"

[7.0] "Aleister Black Vs Hollis was short and to the point but made Black look like a total BA. DIY Vs Miley/Blais was nothing but Miley looked impressive and hopefully will go far as a monster heel. Riot Vs Kimber was not bad. Both got to show some of what they have and Riot Vs Cros is being built well so far. McIntyre Vs Oney was awesome. While it was nothing technical it was just fast paced and had some great stuff from both guys. Nakamura promo was pretty good. Overall, good NXT episode. 7/10."

[8.0] "This episode hit the reset button on NXT and it worked very well. Personally, the debut of Dylan Miley was most impressive but Drew McIntyre brought an intensity that should serve him well going forward."

[7.0] "Good Episode. Oney Lorcan vs Drew McIntyre was Absolutely Awesome. Oney lorcan have had some bad match in WWE? Nah, I do not think so. He Is Awesome, Drew Too. And The Farewell Segment. I hope Shinsuke does big things on Smackdown"

[8.0] "The first three matches all served to build to the future; the ability of a new star, the appearance of a homegrown talent, and the progression of an actual non-title women's feud. Nice to see Hollis and Kimber on this episode. Dylan Miley is massive and looks like a heel from the late 70s dragged into today. The build to Ember Moon chasing after Asuka again is nice. The real reason to watch this episode however is Lorcan vs McIntyre. Drew & Oney went out there and worked stiff as a motherfucker, even more than some previous matches on NXT to do so like Joe vs Ciampa, just throwing themselves and each other all over the arena and ROCKING one another with strikes; in a year with some awesome short matches this 4-5 minute sprint managed to stand out without needing a real story (although adding one beforehand could've made this even better), ***3/4 for that. Absolutely worth seeing the main event; even if you're strapped on time, watch just that match since it'll barely set you back 5 minutes."

[8.0] "The way they handled that squash by Black was unexpecting and awesome. Corey finally has an appearance of a man who can fight you, I hope he finds the character and soon he will be squashing someone so fast because I feel like he was a jobber for a very long time here. Aleister has a great presence, I sense good things for him in the future. I'm happy for Tye, and there will be a cage match between Dillinger and Young? I can't wait. The showcase from #DIY was good, the birth of Blais is very interesting to see, he is huge. The promo of Moon was touching, I still don't really know how her character works but will see. Both Kimberly and Riot did good in their match, Cross showed, it will be interesting to see a non-title women's rivalry in NXT. Iconic Duo can't be embarrassed like that! What a fight! McIntyre is a bonafide superstar, Lorcan looked super good, it felt like a battle, it certainly helped both guys. Thank you, Shinsuke, goodbye, and welcome to Smackdown Live! If WWE differed their product by seasons, the last week would be #0 and this would be the first episode and the sign of the things to come. And I say it was a hell of a pilot."

[5.0] "Aleister Black vs. Corey Hollis - no rating #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Dylan Miley & Michael Blais - 5/10, ok but nothing special Ruby Riot vs. Kimberly Frankele - 4/10, not much going on here but Ruby shows promise in the ring and in her pre-match promo. Drew McIntyre vs. Oney Lorcan - 8/10, good redebut for Drew. He got to show off his talent and how much he'd improved since his first run."
