[3.0] "I appreciate the spotlight on women's wrestling, and since I had the time I decided to try this out even though I'm unfamiliar with about 80% of this card. Thunder Rosa is generally not very good from what I've seen, and I've never heard of her opponent; they ended up having a mediocre opener that did have a couple good aspects like arm work (**). The Triple Threat was actually pretty solid, with decent pacing and some nice offense; the last two big moves in the Chaos Theory from Renee and the Code Red from Angel were both really good I thought (***). The third match continued the trend of the matches improving with Hudson Envy very much impressing me as a heel with her mannerisms and mean offense and Kellyanne showing some ability herself; this was enough for me to make note of both women (***1/2). I was familiar with a few women in the 4-Way tag, but I found Eddy McQueen to be an effective heel having never seen them before; in terms of actual wrestling only Havok and Yim were particularly good however (**1/4). Brink vs Jazz was slow and boring, and Brink's banter kinda sucked (*). I'd heard of everyone in the next match, and I thought it was a pretty okay tag bought with classic structure that broke down pretty well after the hot tag; I thought Allie and Hogan were pretty good here (**1/2). Baszler vs Ryan was every Joey match you've seen against a woman from the past 2 or 3 years, and Shayna's MMA background couldn't really break the formula outside of the relatively bland finish (**). I'm a fan of Taeler Hendrix, but the tag match semi-main was just not good due to the other 3 women, and Hendrix is certainly not able to carry the other 3 into something good (*3/4). Su Yung is a great example of a wrestler who cannot really work getting by on character, and Taya is quite passable, so this match ended up being a good choice for the main event since Taya is a name and Su is over; some of the moves were pretty good, especially the Tree of Woe Neckbreaker (**3/4).
