[7.0] "As people have noted, this was a better episode than the past few weeks. It's clear that the WWE is saving its B Wyatt and/or R Orton focus until after WMania as Styles/Shane is clearly the match being most pushed from the Smackdown brand. AJ was more believable on the mic than usual in that I find he too too often over-emotes the beats/impt points the backstage producers push on his jerky character. His arrogance in assuming that his justification for the previous week's beating would save him from the consequences warmed my appetite up for Shane's patented top-rope elbow down through the table onto a spawled AJ, though Shane's body weight nor his elbow seemed to connect w/ AJ. No room for The Uso's on WM, so tonight was their moment against yet another failed WWE babyface creation. The WWE is unable to add an interesting edge, or that elusive quality of cool, to faces. But so many of these neglected faces, like Cesaro/AAlpha, can work a great match and there were plenty of twists/turns t/out the hot action. In addition, it's good to see the WWE staff on-par w/ the emotional flow/demands of the crowd as even lily-white CT wanted a title change. I found the biting wit and anger of The Miz & Maryse's promos more vibrant than the writing of the overlong reality-show satire yet it was still fine schtick. R Orton always provides a professonal effort, yet it's so rare when one of his matches is even Very good. There's a difference between the professonal w/ an impeccable timing and an established repertoire, and one so dire in his objectives that he pulls out something new or vigorously fights w/ a renewed sense of purpose as Cena did in '15 & '16. It's just the same ol' Randy. What was referenced from that mediocre boxing movie "Southpaw, "Glover? Of the recent boxing flicks, I most preferred M Teller's performance in "Bleed for This. " There's an insistance there that is missing in Mr. RKO. Those future M events w/ RKO/B Corbin = Yuck! 6. 75"

[8.0] "Really Good Episode. Shane Mcmahon vs. AJ Styles Build is Awesome. Tag Team Title Match was Awesome too. Baron Corbin vs. Randy Orton was Ok. Smackdown Wrestlemania Matches are more interesting than Raw Matches"

[9.0] "While the last few shows have had a bit of a dip, this show was a return to form for Smackdown Live. The promo quality on the show is still as good as ever, with the highlights being Styles and Wyatt this week. In-ring this week was also definitely above last week's (barring the 40-second women's match that was more of an angle). Cena vs Fandango was a hilarious little comedy squash that lightly referenced Southpaw. Corbin vs Orton went a bit slow, but you could see some chemistry there, and before the distraction finish it began to pick up a lot (***1/4). American Alpha vs The Usos is the exact kind of match I KNEW these teams had in them; absolutely incredible face vs heel tag team action. Gable is so fucking incredible when he's searching for that hot tag to Jordan, and Jordan is one of the best hot tags in the business today; Jimmy & Jey were equally as awesome at cutting them off and finding interesting ways to fuck the faces over and win with some mildly underhanded tactics. AA's reign was sort of lame duck in many ways, but the capture and the release were both great matches, so I can't complain; this match was AWESOME (****1/4). The final segment with Styles and Shane really helped bring hype to their match at Mania which is likely to be a Street Fight of some sort. Shane still being able to do that elbow drop so well is crazy. Overall, I loved pretty much everything on this show, even the weird spooky Bray/Orton segment since Bray sells the gimmick so damn well. Great Talking Smack too; Usos and Cena were great on there."

[5.0] "Better than the past two weeks; but overall still fairly average. Usos vs AA was a good tag match, don't know why they couldn't of waited two weeks for the title match and a possible title change though. Ambrose returned for Corbin, looking forward to their match but their segment was fairly average. The Miz/Maryse segments mocking Cena & Nikki were glorious, not keen on the feud itself but Miz continues to be entertaining. Women didn't do much apart from a 5 woman brawl. Wyatt vs Orton segment was intriguing, their feud has been solid throughout. The show concentrated on AJ vs Shane feud again, not a fan of this match up, it would be better if it had a stipulation."

[8.0] "Very good promo from AJ Styles to open the show, I wouldn't be against seeing it every week. Tag Team Championships Match was freaking great! That's how you put tag team division on the map. I hope Alphas will take back what's rightfully theirs, maybe at Wrestlemania? Total Bellas Bull S*** is hilariously awesome. Corbin vs. Orton was a cool TV match, they have good chemistry. The nod to the Ambrose from Randy was nice, and Dean is back! Some stipulation to the Intercontinental Match would be nice as well. Wyatt's storyline gets more cinematic (TV show-esque? ) with every week, I'm hyped for his title defence (is it about title anymore? was it at all? ) at Wrestlemania. What in the hell, Tyler? You deserve so much more, but this was too funny to complain. Fashion Police are life. All women's fight was fun, and I really want to know what kind of a match it will be at Wrestlemania. Why is everything so funny in this week's episode? Total Bellas Bull S*** Sequel is as hilarious as the first one. Shane's elbow from the top rope to the outside looked phenomenal, I hope their match will be phenomenal too. Ambrose's short promo on Talking Smack was fire, and The Usos are always great at TS. Face Punching Extravaganza is coming, enjoyed the show!"
