[7.0] "Most of the matches were solid although most of the tournament matches were shorter. Drew vs Ricochet was the best match on the card followed by the main event and Sabre Jr vs Scurll. Overall, the show was well produced and enjoyable."

[8.0] "For the most part a very good show . Galloway vs. Ricochet was excellent . Scurll vs . Sabre was top notch as well . The main was good but ended pretty anticlimactically . ROH needs to protect their title better . It's bad enough they use it as an opening act for the Bucks on their own shows they should not let less established companies do it as well . Definitely worth the watch . Matches worth watching : Martin Kirby vs. Will Ospreay , Nick Aldis vs. Rampage , Marty Scurll vs. Zack Sabre Jr. , Jimmy Havoc vs. Zack Gibson , Christopher Daniels (c) vs. El Ligero , Rampage vs. Will Ospreay , Jimmy Havoc vs. Zack Sabre Jr. , BULLET CLUB (Adam Cole, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & Gabriel Kidd vs. The Prestige (BT Gunn, Joe Coffey, Joe Hendry & Travis Banks) and my top match was Drew Galloway vs. Ricochet ."

[8.0] "Best WCPW show yet, bar none. Best video and audio quality they have produced, akin to ROH or another company of similar size. The Prestige vs Bullet Club match is worth watching."

[7.0] "WCPW kicks off their ambitious 64 man 10 show tourney w/ this show in Nottingham. (an ex-teacher, an American notwithstanding, w/ Striker's arrogant gimmick should know to flatten the 'a' into a 'u. ') Due to this loaded show's ten match line-up, I didn't mind the compact length of the tournament matches though I hope on subsequent editions that changes. Onto the matches, I mourn that storytelling in today's indie world is more based on the timing of executing moves, the power of its allure clear to today's wrestlers who are more comfortable within this sphere than the attributes that would have gotten over J Valentine in his heyday. One can argue that schtick like M Scurll's is the answer to those fans who enjoy a character to those who just do moves, but I would retort that people took competitors like JV and other notorious heels more seriously than 'Party Marty' whose villain is more insecure for love/positive attention than even Dr. Evil. With that being said, and feeling conflicted about it, I thought the 'timing' of some of these bouts was superb, especially the Ospreay/Kirby Scurll/ZSJ bouts from Round 1 and the night's best encounter, Rico/Galloway, making the evening a positive. (DG, outsizing Rico during the heat segment, was not behavioral but a taken-for-granted due to the size disparity. ) I'm not familiar with Os/MK's previous encounters but I thought they put on a surprisingly good bout esp. since I think Kirby's infected w/ a mechanically rheumatic Tin Man like joints. Outside the sole goofy moment, I very much enjoyed how nifty neat ZSJ & the surprisingly light-footed MS work with each other. This is a mid-card 1st rounder so I didn't need a 40 minute Rev Pro style match. Z Gibson's beard has yet to take w/ me but at least he's a heel who I want to boo. All 3 of these 1st-rounders are good. Aldis/Rampage, oy ya laborious grunts. The 2nd round wasn't anything to speak of, but I do hope Ospreay continues to cheat w/ his 'SoE. ' 6. 75"
