[6.0] "This show was shorter than Dreamslam and it sure didn't feel it! Some matches here go way too long (the tag title match is the first offender of that). You could also argue a midget match shouldn't be going around 8 minutes either. Kansai and Hasegawa was the best match that wasn't the main event, and all that match basically featured was Hasegawa used as a kicking dummy by Kansai. Inoue and Yamada was a good match as well. The main event was the only match that really felt like a big deal here and it probably just about delivered, I'd argue it went too long but the length did feel justified on paper, and at least it built towards a great finishing stretch. I'd watch Dreamslam 1993 again over this anyday."
[9.0] "Awesome show. AJW with its exceptional quality during the 90s, almost every match featured here was a good one. Second half of the show was particularly great, with the Main Event being one of the greatest Tag Team matches I've ever seen."
[8.0] "This is the second year in a row AJW visits Yokohama Arena for a big Interpromotional affair and you already feel the industry cooling down. The show is very good, with a great stretch of the final 3-4 matches. The prior year had multiple legendary contests, and this year it's most of the same people doing most of the same things but the card loses Chigusa for more JWP, most of FMW for rookies, and Mexico for midgets. In the 8 AJW vs. Outsider matches, host AJW loses 6 of them. Not only does that elevate the outside promotions to equal (or greater) status, it causes the promotion's biggest stars to start considering, "You know, maybe my future isn't here...maybe I should start my OWN promotion! " which would not only lead to Joshi's 2000s destruction but also throw off course the careers of rookies who should've been the biggest names in the mid-to-late 90s. The show is good but it isn't ~special~ like the year prior because the Matsunagas want to turn their company's highest highs into annual traditions. We'll have solid matches and caring fans, but long-term? This don't work out."
[10.0] "Very good show with almost every match except the second being good. Main Event is great and the Cutie Suzuki & Ozaki/LCO match was also quite good."
[7.0] "This was my first time watching AJW and it lived up to the hype, unfortunately this show lacks english commentary and a legit arm injury slowed down the pacing of the first match, the rest of the card is great although the Japanese Tag Team Title Match should have been shorter, there is lots of great spots in this that I haven't seen in american wrestling before."
