[4.0] "Another snoozefest. I didn't even know Uncensored was only 13 days away, but who even cares. We continue to completely bury more and more wrestlers through extremely biased and stupid booking. None of the matches were all that good, unlike what the ratings would imply, (maybe the Kidman one is accurate), Bret Hart doesn't seem like he's even trying. The promos are so repetitive at this point I don't even know what to say, Flair books himself vs Hogan at Uncensored. Flair also ignores the feud with his son to go after Hogan again, a cool way to make sure that uncharismatic mannequin of a human being continues to look incredibly useless and stupid on TV. Good promo though."

[7.0] "One of the better Nitro's of 1999 I believe. One shitty match with Flynn/Cat, but the other ones were all bangers. Ranging from **3/4 to ***3/4. Have no complaints about a segment of backstage skit."

[8.0] "I actually liked this Nitro quite a bit. There's bad stuff, yeah, The Cat is getting a push and David Flair is getting two backstage segments, but you know what? The crowd was super hot, Flair cut a hot promo, Benoit and Bret when 20 minutes, cruiserweights still awesome, and the main event was shockingly fun, explosive and crowd pleasing match to the extreme."
