They have had a great 2017."
[6.0] "My first wXw show and I love the intimate feel of it! The wrestlers were there to deliver too, which made for a real quality show. I'm still not as sold on the great matches as wXw disciples, but it was all a very positive experience. MOTN, as most put it, was WALTER/Starr which I pegged at [*** 1/2]. Also liked Dragunov/Mark Haskins and Klinger/Banks, both at [** 3/4]. The rest was perfectly enjoyable too. We'll see if I'll be able to familiarize myself with wXw to love it as much as their core audience."
[8.0] "Die ersten drei Matches sin auf einem guten solide Level. Im vierten Match kommt ein richtiger Kracher. Starr und Walter sind bekanntermaßen gute Wrestler und haben eine gute Chemie, aber hier setzen die beiden noch einen drauf. Grandioses Match ind dem beide auch zeigen wir gut sie die Aktionen des anderen kennen ****1/4. Storm und Samuel zeigen ein gutes solides Match. Haskins und Dragunov dann mit einem verdammt harten und schnellem Sprint ****. Davis gegen den Piraten dann zum runterkommen. Main Event ganz ordentlich mit nervigen Eingriffen."
[7.0] "Opener was pretty good. First time seeing Lucky Kid and he wasn't bad. Al-Ani vs Sitoci was decent. Avalanche vs Dante was a fine big lads match, but it was way too short. Starr and WALTER had another fantastic match. This rivalry produced two best wXw matches this year. Every time they meet, Starr comes an inch closer to slaying the giant, but in the end he always fails. It's gonna be an amazing moment when he finally manages to win. Storm vs Samuels was fine. Dragunov vs Haskins was great. I'm not as high on Ilja as most people are, but he was awesome here. Thatcher vs Davis was too short. Davis is great, but he wasn't able to show it here. I wasn't a fan of the main event. It's not even the bullshit near the end that bothered me. RISE are a heel stable, so they should cheat. My main problem was how terribly indie this match felt at times. The random destroyer from Banks, leg slapping on every possible strike, regardless of how much it missed the target and finally that stupid apron spot. So Klinger hits a suplex, Falcon Arrow or whatever on the apron and 5 seconds later Banks is back up to take a suicide dive and 15 seconds later he's back on offense. It was dumb. Rest of the match was very good, to be honest. It was just that spot or two that I didn't like. Pretty good show with one must watch match, one great match and a slightly disappointing main event."
[8.0] "Absolut runde und großartige Veranstaltung, bei der alle absolut abliefern. Manche Kämpfe sind nicht der Oberbringer, aber das ist ja auch nicht der Anspruch. Die beiden Matchempfehlungen sprechen für sich und werden abgerundet von Bones vs. Banks mit einem erneut großartigen Lucky Kid, welcher im Opener selbst auch beweisen konnte, was er im Singles Bereich alles kann. Brookes fehlt bei der wXw aktuell schon irgendwie, schön ihn beim Carat wieder zu haben. Alles weitere ist oberer Durchschnitt und Ilja ist ein F'N Superstar!"
