[8.0] "This was another good episode of SmackDown Live. The MVP of the blue brand, The Miz, continued to let his chemistry and ring presence show. Ziggler got some decent character development, something that is long overdue by now. The contract signing between Styles and Cena was great, likely leading to another MOTY candidate at the Royal Rumble. Finally, the main event was both exciting and a feel-good moment. Shame to see Miz's reign come to end, but bigger things could be in store for his future. My only real complaint was the Nikki/Nattie segment. It was quite stiff and felt forced, but hopefully once they step in the ring, all will be well."

[9.0] "Very good Smackdown, but the only thing I can really say left a bad taste in my mouth was American Alpha's booking. While a wonderful tag team, their complete squashing of the other teams just makes them as boring as one gets. Last week showed very much how American Alpha getting the win after an insanley fought match made them look golden, which made more of a fan. But then seeing them squash another team like Breezango, I find myself wishing they got pushed less. Had they have let their match go on at least as long as some of the others, this would get a 10."

[7.0] "Good Smackdown, once again better than RAW this week. AJ Styles and John Cena's segment was goooood, their match at RR should be a good one. And Baron Corbin continues to improve, his future is going to be interesting as well. The big down of this week's episode is Dean Ambrose winning the IC title, honestly I'm not a big fan of either guy but Miz has been a fantastic champion in 2016 and he should really have kept the title longer in my opinion. Dean Ambrose doesn't need a championship right now, he's credible as one of Smackdown's top face even without title, Miz could've won just with cheating like he usually does and the rivalry would have continued with Miz champion. Well that's what I would have done if I was booker... But we'll see what happens next anyway."

[8.0] "Okay, another hit for Smackdown Live with a huge main event for the Intercontinental Title between The Miz and Dean Ambrose with a final surprise. The contract signing between AJ Styles and John Cena is just epic, I like how they talked about their rivalry. Also, a good Ziggler vs Corbin match with the unexpected heel turn by Ziggler. For two weeks in a row, Smackdown Live is a great show."
