Brock and AJ should've main evented in hindsight. And I think the main event is the reason that this show is rated lower than I did. Because its the thing that ends the show, and you always hate when a show ends poorly. But I thought this was an overall great show. |

Six Man Tag Team Match war ein richtig Guter einstieg in die Show zwischen The New Day und The Shield. War aber absehbar das hier der Shield sich durchsetzen wird (****). RAW vs. SmackDown LIVE Survivor Series Ten Women's Tag Team Match war ganz Solide. Asuka bleibt weiterhin unbesiegt und dominiert die letzten Teilnehmer in diesem Match. RAW führt mit 2 Punkten bisher. Dann kommt Baron Corbin vs. The Miz und das Match war auch ganz Solide. RAW 2 - 1 SmackDown Live! . The Uso's vs. The Bar war dann auch ein's der besten Matches des Abends (***1/2). Charlotte vs. Alexa Bliss war auch inordnung. Brock Lesnar vs. AJ Styles Match of the Night (****1/4). Und das RAW vs. SmackDown LIVE Survivor Series Ten Man Tag Team Match war auch ganz Gut. Fazit: Somit gewinnt RAW gegen SmackDown Live! mit 4:3 und stellt wieder unter beweis das sie eindeutig die A-Show sind, obwohl ich immer noch anderer meinung bin vom In-Ring geschehen. Ein Guter PPV. |

Opener was a sort-of dream match, though I don't really rate the New Day as a great in-ring unit. Match was very fun though, and a great way to kick off the main show (****1/4). Women's match had many atrocious moments, chiefly the Alicia Fox/Naomi "chain wrestling" sequence. But it was reasonably entertaining, and it helped having extremely low expectations going in (**3/4). The next match was a professional wrestling match contested between Baron Corbin and The Miz (*1/2). The Usos/Bar match wasn't as wildly entertaining bell-to-bell as the opener, but it built well and the last few minutes were great. The finish was also fantastic (****). The next match was also a professional wrestling match, this time contested between Charlotte and Alexa Bliss (**). Lesnar/AJ was raucously good fun, and AJ's best match in the company to date. Lesnar breaking out of the Calf Killer by repeatedly banging AJ's head on the mat was an easy pick for spot of the night. (****1/2). Main event was a slog, I remembered it being as long as the previous year's match but it's not even close. Not a good sign. Finish was moronic and pointless, but it didn't bother me at all because it's the kind of tripe you always expect from WWE (**1/4). |

Jax and Tamina facing was a natural thing to do, but there wasn’t that many interesting clashes that hasn’t been done to death since the women’s revolution. At least they didn’t fumble with Asuka. Baron Corbin -vs- The Miz [**] It’s a Baron Corbin match. Only real surprise was that it didn’t stink. Miz made sure of that. But there wasn’t exactly the most positive vibe surrounding this one. Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso -vs- Cesaro & Sheamus [** 1/4], Charlotte Flair -vs- Alexa Bliss [* 1/2] The women get just as much time as the men did and doesn’t capitalize. It for the most part become a long bore, a match where little mattered or anything special given. Brock Lesnar -vs- AJ Styles [*** 1/2], RAW vs SMACKDOWN Survivor Series) [*** 1/4] The match had me guessing all the way, but I’m not sure I liked where it was taking me. At least Braun Strowman came out of it looking strong of the current generation, though this was mostly a tribute to the old and safe part-timers, making several of their current guys look weak. Was a good match overall. Only slowed down when it was just the old guys, sort of like an anti-climax. But up-until that point, a strong in-ring showing from their top stars. |

Viele gute Sequenzen und bis auf kleine Wackler, wer denn nun der legale Mann ist, auch eine sehr schöne Schlussphase. Ausgang erwartungsgemäß, Schlussspot ganz fein. (***½) 1:0 für Raw Steph heizt für das 2:0 ein. No More Huggung für Bayley und schon steht sie Arm in Arm mit Alicia und Fans vor dem Ring. Top! Die Damen wühlen sich dann eifrig ins Match und Captain Becky ist fix raus. Ganz feine Phase mit Tamina und Nia, aber ansonsten etwas zu wühlig und arg unsauber bei Naomi und Alicia z. B.. Action der Schlussphase passt, aber auch hier ist der 2. RAW-Sieg arg absehbar. Daniel und Steph mit einem interessanten Segment. RAW vs SD stand bei Miz/Corbin schon länger nicht im Vordergrund, passt auch ganz zu dem Heel-Duell, aber die Beiden hatten eine ganz passende Intensität in der Fehde, die sie zwar nicht 100%ig ins Match bekommen, aber durchaus überraschen können. An manchen Tagen ist Paul einfach auf den Punkt. Es war so ein Tag. Die Tag-Champs erfinden das Ganze nicht neu, aber liefern halt auch einfach sehr solide. Gutes Teamwork auf beiden Seiten und die Usos wieder ein Stück näher am besten Tag Team 2017. Unterhaltsam! (***½) Jason Jordan wirkt sogar in so einem Interview nervig. Die Damen-Champs haben ihre liebe Mühe, ein Match auf die Beine zu stellen, reihen dann aber doch ein paar nette Sequenzen aneinander. Starkes Match von AJ und Brock. Brock hat Bock und AJ liefert (wie immer) ab. MOTN. Easy. (****½) Viele schöne Paarungen im Main Event, aber letztendlich showcased man diese kurz, um eine markige Zielgruppe zu befriedigen, anschließend geht’s in den Automodus über, die „NXTler“ werden früh eliminiert und man setzt zum Story-Aufbau der kommenden Wochen an. Das fühlt sich dann viel zu sehr als Mittel zum Zweck und enttäuscht so letztendlich. Riesenchance verpasst. Am Ende ist es ein in Teilen überraschend solider Event – bis zum Main Event. |

(***1/4) Lesnar vs. Styles was excellent, one of the best main roster matches for WWE this year. (****1/2) The main event started off fine but went off the rails after the quick eliminations of Roode and Nakamura. Once again it was all about the game. (*1/2) Had the main event delivered this would have been the best main roster show of the year but it didn't and actually dragged the show down. |

Kein Old Sql Shield Vibe, dafür 20 Minuten tolles Team Story Telling, viele Spots bei großartiger Move-Frequenz. Abgerundet durch eine tolle Schlussphase und einen guten End-Spot (***¾). Die Damen interessieren mich dann nicht wirklich und dann geht das sogar fast 20 Minuten. Miz/Corbin ist nicht schlecht, aber von der Action ohne nötiges Tempo und Drama für ein PPV (**). Usos/Bar liefern schnelles und actionreiches Tag Team Wrestling mit toller Aktionsdichte und starker Performance beider Teams. Gutes Ding (***½+). Auch das zweite Damen Match interessiert mich nicht und auch das geht 15 Minuten. AJ & Brock liefern dann ein unfassbar smartes Layout. Traumhafte Chemie, göttliche Konterserien und perfekt komplettiert. Fantastische Dynamik & großartige Zusammenarbeit. An Sachen wie Selling, Psychologie und Charakter Work NICHT zu überbieten. Mehr dazu im Guide, das war göttlich (***** + MOTN). Und dann der Main Event. Ein absolutes Chaos bei dem nichts stimmt. Kurze Aufzählung denn das ist meine Zeit nicht wert. Komplett unnötige und antiklimatische Eliminierungen, kaum erinnerungswürdige Spots, kaum ansatzweise tolle Konterserien, Standart Action und Move-Frequenz und komplettiert wird das Ganze in irgendwelchen Pseudo Story Lines der Oldies und der Triple H Show. 30 Minuten Zeitverschwendung (DUD). Der Main Event trübt die Show ein wenig, die aber zuvor 2 wirklich gute und ein göttliches Match lieferte: 6. 40/10 |

Lesnar's selling was good. AJ looked like million bucks. And that fucking main event was terrible. Old guys dominating young guys was awful. Naka, balor, roode were eliminated which the crowd hated. They were totally dead for the finish. Only good thing was strowman. Another disappointing show from MR after a great takeover show. |
