[9.0] "Definitely the best example of intergender wrestling I've ever seen, all compiled in a single episode of Lucha Underground."

[7.0] "Joshi fan that has never have been watching the Lucha Underground show before. PD vs. Hojo. Brutal Squash. At least we got the elbow. Finish was lame. 4 - PD vs. Iwatani. Good. Finish again was lame but I guess that is his thing? 5 - PD vs. Shirai was a wild brawl. Io is fantastic however I could count the number of moves on one hand by PD. Don't understand why the crowd goes so crazy for unnecessary violence towards woman but I guess that is the Lucha crowd? The fact that Io was able to get the crowd chanting for her shows what a legend she is/has become. Finish was extremely unexpected. 8 - Matches where up and down but succeeded their purpose 7"

[8.0] "Probably one of my favorite episodes of Lucha Underground, basically an amazing gauntlet match. I find a lot of Pentagons stuffs overrated, but his performance here was absolutely fantastic. Simply a man destroying his opponents with maximum effort, completely ignoring the gender difference. All three Stardom stars gave out stellar performances as well, especially Shirai, taking two rough chair-tossing spots and the jawdropping suicide dive, perfect example of a "holy shit" wrestling moment. No comedic bullshits or the unnecessary "I refuse to fight girls" spot, just nonstop action from beginning to the end. Take notes folks, this is how you do intergender matches. Beautiful match - ****1/4."

[9.0] "What a fucking intergender match this was. The three Stardom wrestlers proved they were great workers and the last match against Io Shirai (Hitokiri) was really awesome. ****1/4"

[8.0] "PentaDark got rekt. All the Stardom girls pretty much beat the shit out of Pentagon for 45 minutes straight. I give Doku, Yurei, and Hitokiri, ***1/2, ***3/4, and **** respectively. Especially that last match where Hitokiri and Pentagon just straight up killed each other. The after match segment was also brutally awesome, but I still don't know if I should feel bad for Pentagon or not."

[8.0] "First I have to say I am not a fan of the inter gender match . Besides the normal silliness I don't agree with the message that it is ever ok to manhandle a woman . Having said that it is a part of today's wrestling and particularly this promotion . If you are going to have inter gender matches these athletes are the ones to do it with . All four competitors established themselves as stars that can transcend their native promotions and will see success on a larger stage . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was Hitokiri vs. Pentagon Dark ."

[9.0] "This is the best intergender event I've seen, Pentagon Dark is not the showstealer, all works perfectly because all his opponents were good in competitive (yet short) matches. Io Shirai is fantastic and has the best match with Pentagon in the show. There is nothing outside the three fights and it's all great."

[10.0] "What an amazing episode. Two great matches between incredibly unlikely opponents, and then the finale was straight up fantastic, I think people are overlooking it as a genuine MOTY candidate just because it's technically part of a gauntlet. But the brutality, the storytelling, the big spots and the great action, DAMN that match was amazing! Who would have thought Pentagon vs. the best of Stardom would be so amazing, but it damn well is."

[8.0] "I was surprised how this episode was left for Pentagon Dark vs The Black Lotus Triad in its entirety. The way they structured the gauntlet and the way it progressed into the final segment was really well done. I was surprised that the women were actually former Joshi wrestlers and Stardom performers and they did very well. The match between Hitokiri and Pentagon Dark was very good, borderline great with its story and brutality. I would say she was more over with that crowd in one night than Sexy Star was in the course of a few months (not counting the break) I would recommend this episode only if you aren't one that hates intergender wrestling."

[10.0] "This was an absolutely fantastic LU episode. I really loved the Pentagon gauntlet - the first match vs. Doku was really good (***3/4), the 2nd match vs. Yurei was on the same level (***3/4) & the final bout vs. Hitokiri was a great brawl to end the gauntlet (***3/4). This might end up being the best episode of season 3, and even if it doesn't, it'll still remain a strong candidate."

[9.0] "Awesome episode. Vignettes strewn throughout the show between the Gauntlet matches helped build to future episodes; Matanza obsessing over Mysterio and Puma waking up from presumably death were awesome scenes. The Gauntlet itself was a really well-built, well-paced set of matches. vs Doku (Hojo) was very good, and worked well as the first section of a 3-part match; Kairi worked stiff here, but also bumped and sold incredibly well for Pentagon's offense. vs Yurei (Iwatani) started and ended quite well, with an awesome finish of a Package Piledriver out of nowhere into the armbreaker; I do think it sort of meandered in the middle a tad due to Mayu not being able to lay in her offense as well as Kairi. vs Hitokiri (Shirai) was obviously meant to be the star attraction, but it also built off of the damage and expectations of Pentagon from before; Io did everything she's good at here, be it flipping or striking or diving or bumping like a madwoman, and Pentagon proves he's once again one of the most sadistic minds in wrestling right now when working hardcore matches. The spot where Pentagon chokes out Hitokiri with the cable via the ring post was savage and established that this match has no true faces; it's a vendetta between a collective of assassins and one man who wronged them. After that awesome match, Black Lotus comes out for her "match", which mostly consists of her just snapping Pentagon's arm. Dragon Azteca returning to snap the other one was a great moment of retribution as well. This entire episode was meant to give Pentagon Dark his comeuppance for Ultima Lucha Dos, and show him that even the darkest individuals can still fall prey to karma. I give the Gauntlet match as a whole ****1/4, and the episode as a whole a fantastic rating. Unique and enjoyable episode of LU."

[9.0] "Absolutley fantastic LU episode. Whenever they do one match episodes they always seem to deliver. This one was just brutal art. The first and second matches were good and very enjoyable, but the third one with IO was just incredible. Both looked like total badasses and stars. That dive spot from the office was insane. Great storytelling and action all night. Matanza vs Mysterio should be great, as should "dark" Puma. Great night"
