[6.0] "This wasn't a bad episode, per se, but the Bret Hart heel turn was a terrible idea and pretty much killed any momentum he had by this point. A handful of decent matches, but nothing too standout."

[5.0] "5 star night mostly for Goldberg winning the US title, but then Hogan got the belt back with the help of a Bret Hart heel turn which just left a sour taste in a lot of peoples mouths."

[6.0] "The episode has some strengths, but at the same time, many aspects are simply not interesting, including the first half hour of the show and a number of passing matches. The main event, as always, leaves much to be desired, although at least the end of the show was interesting. Goldberg is also impressive, as is Booker T. But still, I would only give it a 6."

[5.0] "Macho and Hogan exchange promos about how they wanna wrestle each other, and Nash is crowned the NWO leader. Then we cut to Clemson, as they are holding a Nitro party, in a stadium. The mascot and like few hundred people are just partying and watching Nitro on the jumbotron. Nothing else happened on the card, Bret Hart turns. Idiot. Stop this madness."

[7.0] "25 minutes to get to Wrestling, not a good start. The Barbarian gets some time and a win on NITRO hinting at a new team coming up with Jimmy Hart as the manager. Jericho making fun of Dean Malenko was funny. Not only does Raven lose the belt fast but The Flock is infighting, two civil war storylines going on now. None of these matches were bad but I'm happy with the storylines going on."

[5.0] "Still can't fathom why people enjoyed watching Goldberg back in 98, but I guess it's neat to see him beat up the Flock. Then again, who hasn't beaten up the entire Flock at this point? Jericho and Juvie have a decent match, but it's really short. La Parka and Ultimo is better, but has a few moments of sloppiness. The only really redeming part of this show was Booker T v Psychosis, which was absolutely brilliant, and I'm glad it didn't end in a timeout. At the end, apparently Hart turns heel? IDK how that makes sense, but OK? Terrible main event, as is the standard for WCW."

[9.0] "Awesome Nitro overall, you can tell after losing their ratings win streak the week before they are motivated to put on a great show and they really do pull it off for the most part. All the undercard title matches were particularly good, Goldberg demolishing the Flock got an INSANE reaction. The turn at the end was definitely nonsensical as far as I can tell but it probably did create some intrigue at least."
