219.05.2026CMFunk0074.0This event was painful. But at least we don't have to sit through those God awful "Rules are for fools" commercial advertisements for this show anymore. DDP/Raven? benoit was clearly the match of the night. Everything else was meandering and stupid or just solid enough to not be bad.
310.12.2025OnAPole5.0A lot of good and lot of bad. Opener, Jericho and Malenko and 3 way match are positives of this show (although I think that 3 way is overrated, it looked like something that would do well even in today's wrestling. (Table no selling finish didn't help). Luger was unwatchable by 1998, he hit his peak in 97 and stopped giving a shit right there and then. Finish was unspeakable. Giant/Nash existed on the card and still managed to be a dissapointment. Bret/Hennig was ok but nowhere near level of their 91 and 93 matches. Sting/Hall was fine for what it was, but shouldn't have been on PPV. Main event was WCW's version of Rollins/Fiend disaster, total burial of cage, Macho Man, Sting, if it was real Sting, you never know, because WCW (I was watching on a bit of shitty quality so maybe it was clear on better quality). Sad parody of a cage match. To counter this negativity, Jericho/Malenko was really great in my opinion, this was around time Jericho started catching fire as a heel, and this whole storyline in general is iconic. Booker T was also improving quite a lot in this period of time, as seen in the opener. You can see the ongoing theme here, young, improving or already excellent performers having great matches and angles, while old messed up guys fuck up the whole show by having horrible matches and angles compromised by their own egos. That's a WCW for ya.

830.12.2024JacquesRougeauCanHaveMyWife4.0The crowd throughout this show wasn't the loudest one, but Booker and Eddie or Sting with Hall proved, that if you're over and you put some energy into your matches you will get the reactions you want. A lot of other guys though didn't feel like speeding things up or just didn't read the room and as a result didn't produce any entertaining atmosphere. Hennig vs Hart was the most disappointing one when it comes to this, as their work was obviously pretty good, but fans were dead for the most part. And on top of that the main event was a huge miss with nobody being a clear babyface, so the crowd didn't have anybody to cheer for and it just dragged on, until the horrible, overbooked finish came with nobody caring to come up with an actual finish. At least some of the midcarders delivered with Booker vs Eddie being the best thing on the show, plus the Triple Threat Match was fun and Jericho vs Malenko was solid, but further up the card it was getting monotonous once again.

1418.03.2024Burning V Sternness6.0The undercard here was more good than great, which meant it didn't do as good a job of making up for the bunkum in the Main Event in order to improve on the overall rating for the show. That being said, the cage match was the only match on the show that I'd say was actively bad, with everything else being decent to good

1701.05.2023XXDoubleHHXX8.0Despite the bullshit ending I didn't think Uncensored was too bad. First 5 Matches are great, even Scott Steiner vs Lugar was fun for being short. Raven selling that daimond cutter through the table despite it not breaking was gold. Kevin Nash using his creative control to not lost to the giant is just terrible. Bret Hart vs Curt Henning was the savior from ruining the mood from getting to sour. Sting vs Scott Hall was fine, it felt like a TV match and not a ppv but they did their best and the crowd loved it.

2013.12.20225nicoShuffle6.0Strangely for an Uncensored PPV... this was pretty good (well, first half of it at least), unfortunately though the run of good stuff ran out when it came to the matches involving the nWo further up on the card. [1st match] Good match; Eddie dominated a lot of the match, working over Booker's knee using some dirty tactics. Booker showed real fire & heart in coming back. *** [2nd match] Many scary moments for Juvi, caused not only by Konnan, but by Juvi himself. Konnan dished out some elaborate submissions - which didn't look all-that effective and didn't get much heat from the fans for them either. A strange match. **1/2 [3rd match] This match went through many phases and momentum swings, and was good. ***1/2 [4th match] I thought this was okay, short sure, but surprisingly okay. ** [5th match] This is just a compact triple threat match with hardcore, not sure why the fancy name? **** [6th match] Was probably as good it was going to get until the inevitable nWo run-ins. ** [7th match] Story of the match was Curt & Rick working on Bret's knee, and Bret having to adapt, was okay. *** [8th match] This wasn't good. Sting looked a very weak champ, and this had some of the worst moments involving a red that I've ever seen. *1/2 [Main] The destination was bad, but all that proceeded it was decent. * Shame how the second half fell off a cliff, as without that, this could d have been one of the best WCW PPVs of the year.

2318.08.2022Giantfan19807.0Despite the 2nd half of the show being pretty much garbage with the exception of Hitman/Hennig, the first half kicked ass! The triple threat match boosts this show up to 7 stars out of 10.
2424.05.2022Derek Joists4.0This is one of those shows where the majority of the matches are decent, if not actually great, but the whole event leaves a sour taste in the mouth. It's clear that for whatever reason a lot of the wrestlers weren't that interested, it's clear that the NWO and the Hulk Hogan Show are the only things that matter and both are well past stale by this point. Less than a month from this point Raw would beat Nitro in the ratings for the first time in years, and WCW would start sliding inexorably, and the main event here shows exactly why that happened.

2906.05.2021AnB6.0Half of this PPV is brilliant. If you stopped watching after the three-way match between DDP, Raven and Benoit this could've been an 8/10. Well, if you ignore Luger v Steiner. You'll just end up feeling ripped off towards the end because the finish to the main event is absolutely trash with interference from Beefcake of all people, and Savage backstabbing Sting after he comes down from the rafters to assist him.

3225.05.2020NitroRawImpact7.0Very strong card for this event. Hulk Hogan still is most important man in the WCW, Sting have championship but Hogan is in the main event. Main Event failed but Macho Man is great and started a feud with Sting. This was bad night for New World Order, because they didn't win any match. Chris Jericho is the best Cruiserweight Champion in WCW history and story with Dean Malenko quit is interesting. DDP defended title, but this is not the end of storyline. Very solid PPV

(o. W. ) 5. US Championship siehe Guide. 6. Kevin Nash gegen Giant war nichts. Man bekam das was man erwarten konnte. Traf nicht meinen Geschmack. (1*) 7. Hall verliert sang & klanglos in ca. 8 Minuten. Schade. Wäre mehr drin gewesen. (2*) 9.
4218.07.2017Mizzle Assault Ant5.0This event has a great first half and mostly a pretty bad second half, so 5 seems about right. Booker/Eddie is a pretty great opener, both guys on their A game, and Juvi/Konnan is pretty good for a Konnan match. Jericho/Malenko is pretty good as well, though I don't know why Okerlund suddenly berated Malenko after the match. Luger/Steiner is short but decent and drives the angle well. Benoit/DDP/Raven is the clear match of the night, a fantastic 3way that deserves more recognition in the annals of WCW. However, from here the event takes a sharp turn. Giant/Nash is an incredibly boring match with a terrible ending, the crowd wanted to be excited but they died pretty quickly as the match went on. Hennig/Bret was a step back in the right direction, quite good though nowhere near their classics in previous years. Bret gets laid out after the match by nWo midcarders, which seems like a big waste of him when he was so hot coming in. Sting/Hall is not very good, once Sting got back in the ring the gimmick was pretty much ruined and he's doing his same old surfer crap, except now he crotch chops for some stupid reason. The crowd liked Dusty Rhodes better than Sting. They need to get that title off him ASAP. Savage/Hogan had potential to be ok but an incredibly dumb finish ruined it. Brutus Beefcake gets involved, Savage beats up Sting when he tries to help him, and there is literally no finish because... ? Watch certain matches, but not the whole thing, not worth it.
Insgesamt eine sehr mittelmäßige Show.

Nash gegen The Giant, nun ja, schwamm drüber. "Gimmicks on top, workers on the bottom" trifft es hier fast.
5522.10.2007Medi8.0
