[6.0] "The fluctuation within the Nakamura/Joe rivalry has had Naka with the stronger allure prior to Takeover in Brooklyn but since his victory the shrewd writers have not neglected Joe as that allure has shifted his way prior to the return match in Toronto. Shinsuke beating-up the security didn't seem part of his character as he's too indifferently cool to do sth like that... , or that's how much Joe has gotten to him. I think Naka is retaining so it will be interesting to see what happens to Joe after. Though the AoP/#DIY bout was latter in the card in Los Angeles, for purposes of this show, in which the heel has the stronger go-home pull, the match order was turned around so there's some face steam throughout the show. (Again, the fluctuations) Credit to AoP for keeping up with the talented indie boys and Rezar stealing the right spots (Elgin's fallaway slam of two people. ) Both Ellering and The Revival (were they under the ring all night? ... an odd position for 'top' guys. ) interfered and it was a good match so #DIY didn't lose any face In the other tag Shane Thorne did a solid Ricky Morton and the Aussie pair snuck away with a mild upset of a recently introduced intriguing act. Dillinger/Roode's comments were fine. Who exactly is Ember Moon? We need something about her, a further introduction, a backstory... she's been produced almost like a LU character so I'm waiting, less patiently every week, for an added layer. 6. 4"

The SAnity members really built up their characters as crazy mf. AoP Vs TM-61 should be interesting. Moon Vs Evers was just a normal squash. Ember needs to be pushed. SOON. Contract signing was amazing. Loved the hell out of that. Overall 4/10 without promo, 6/10 with."

[8.0] "Good build for Takeover. DIY vs Authors of Pain was a legitimately great match; good structure, great performances, really good reversals and interesting spots to build tension, sufficient heeling from multiple sources leading to AoP getting the win while setting up DIY for their tag title rematch (***3/4 or ****). TM-61 vs SAnitY was well-built as an underdog comeback off a hot tag, although I'd consider Thorne's build to the tag better than Miller's performance after being tagged (***). Ember/Evers was a decent short match to build Moon. Dillinger/Roode promos fleshed out their feud a bit more. Contract signing was awesome for the fantastic character work from Joe, Regal, and Nakamura. Strong episode, and makes you want to watch the big show."

[7.0] "The Authors of Pain/DIY - Great Match here, Ciampa's Suplex was Awesome Moment (***1/2), TM61/Sanity - Fun Match, TM61 Selling perfectly his underdog role (**3/4), Ember Moon/Rachael Evers- Squash, The Contract Signing was a Good Segment"

[8.0] "As much as I don't like The Authors of Pain very much it's undeniable the great work they're doing as dominating monster powerhoure heel tag team. With Ellering by their side things get even better, that guy knows how to create heat. The other semifinal was very good storyteller, with a good amount of good wrestling. Moon vs Evers a very decent TV match. The Joe/Nakamura segment wasn't spetacular but delivered well to build the feud even further."
