[6.0] "This is for the tournament matches only . They where all good matches and the main was a tick above the rest but really nothing was up to the level of a normal Road To six man main event . matches worth watching : all of them and my top math was Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) vs. Rush & Tetsuya Naito ."

[5.0] "Mito is home to 1 of 3 of the 'Great Gardens of Japan, ' the Kairaku-en reknown for its Ume, (Japanese plum but to us it's more akin to an apricot) trees. Ibaraki, the prefecture, has the most remote Tokyo metro airport and w/out proper bus reservations getting there, speaking from experience, is a pain. The bldg's a gym w/ a stage but the wrestlers enter from the side making it the 1st show I've seen all tour in which the hard camera moves. These buildings (incl Kyoto) are not sold-out as the 2nd tier is empty. The opening ten minutes stink as Naka sucks... but I really like the speed of Juice's cannonball to the corner. Y is Honma sitting at a NJPW on the NE stage? Late in the match a white boy & native lady walk by the stage making me wonder how many gaijin would live in Mito Or did he travel all the way from Tokyo? ! Naka actually hits one good move, underhooking Juice/Tana for same-time suplexes. Double backbreakers and a bunch of near-falls/submission incl the Sling Blade Hart Attack but Juice's jumping Unprettier gets the pin. Breaker/Race also have one good move when Br throws and splashes R on top of a prone opponent but outside that their workrate/entertainment value is not at the level of a top organization. But they do get the victory w/ R pinning K after an assisted Sliced Bread. No lady for Yuji tonight. Crowd's quiet but appreciative of the more convincing slugging than what was contained in the previous two. Hanson's hokey mimicing of R Romero running the back-and-forth buckle-to-buckle cl gets the crowd's approval as they get-off seeing faux Vikings Bezerkin' like John Nord. Page knocks Hanson from the top-rope and soon after hits a somersault cl along w/ a Y short-arm DDT and Rowe is pinned. The M Event is for the top seed of 'A. ' What is Naito pointing up to that has Tonga's attn? After a light-hearted start it's about 12 minutes of fine action w/ a flat crowd that ends after a TTKO on Rush for the win. 5. 25-5. 5"
